One of the most popular market I know. Its every Tuesday market place, although its a permanent market but sellers come from different states every Tuesday. I boldly say you can get anything you want in this market at a very cheap price.

It is one of the biggest and most popular markets in osun. People in osun and it vicinity come to the market to buy and sell their goods on Tuesdays. The goods there are cheaper than what you will buy from other market.

Igbona market is a major shopping spot in the city of Osogbo. Because of space constraint the buying and selling activities sprawls into adjoining streets and sometimes into the major road (Aiyetoro). There are virtually no household items from cookiing utensils, electronics to edible items that cannot be obtained from this market and prices here are better that any other part of Osun State

Igbona is a marketplace centre in oshogbo. An everyday market but there is a specific day which is Tuesday for the general market which is always full and even causes traffic from morning till night. You can get foodstuff and cloth (any type )majorly. other things may be scarce to get. Most time is better to go to Orisunbaare market at old garage to avoid stress.

A popular market with access to all basic and exotic food items. The market is always filled so anyone that's claustrophobic should be aware. Anyone that's allergic to dust, dirt or foul smell should always come with a face mask.

Igbona is the central market in Obafemi Awolowo way, along Ikirun road, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Nearly all household items, foodstuffs, electronics, and clothes, among other goods, are sold in the area. Petrol and gas filling stations, shopping malls, fast food restaurants, local canteens, banks, supermarkets, medicines stores, and cheap transportation services are available at Igbona. It mostly has more business assemblage and many products and market displays every Tuesday of the week.

Igbona is a market where you can get a variety of things to buy, ranging from foodstuffs, cooking items, provisions and other supplies. Every Tuesday is Igbona Market days and the market is exceptionally full on that day but you will get things even on non-market days.

Igbona is quite notable for its large market. There are things that are less expensive and things that are expensive. You can't compare it to Bodija market in Ibadan, things are cheaper in Bodija than Igbona market. Nonetheless, it's a big place with a good road. The only problem are the traders who display their goods by the roadside. It makes it hard for one to walk safely by the roadside without constantly looking over your back. The state government should do the needful, all traders should stay within the confines of the market, not by the roadside.

It would have been a better shopping experience if there were no wares laid out on the major road meant for vehicles and pedestrians

  • 4/5 Joel Anthony (. 4 months ago on Google
The market has most of the basic needs for shopping but lacks many important ones. For example, I couldn't find a place to buy grade A used shoe and Brand new pure leather shoes for by boy.

Igbona is one of the market area in osogbo osun state. About 2 banks are located at Igbona (wema bank and first bank) though the area has this village setting but is lively and always busy. Akol pharmacy is located just at the place, popular restaurant known as "Stomach Care" is also in the area. Igbona has a lot of streets attached to it like Agunwande, alafia, cemetery, Church Street, olorunsogo street among others. The electricity in the area is calculated not too stable.

  • 2/5 Hasbiyallah O. 1 year ago on Google
The market is a big one but, they don't open on time. I went around 10am and had to roam about looking for open stores and waiting for people to open their stores... For a market place it's kinda strange. Or is it an osogbo thing ?🤷💁

  • 5/5 Kazeem O. 1 year ago on Google
Igbona is a big market in osogbo where everything, and when I say everything, I mean there's nothing you want to buy that is not in this market. The market is well-made in such a way that commuters can move in and out of the market easily. Furthermore, things are quite cheap in the Igbona market because of the high competition between sellers and the incessant patronage of buyers. In conclusion, the Igbona market is one of the biggest markets that is situated in the capital. So, whenever you visit this market don't forget to get a bottle of water and small chops at hand to enjoy your exploration of the market

Chaos. Variety. Igbona market is busy! In spite of fears of Covid 19, market women, shoppers, touts and beggers are out in full force. Prices are Hugh tho, and there's less variety compared with other years, because of the world wide trade slow-down. Even so, its still a great place to do your emergency Christmas shopping. Pls wear your mask and take a shower immediately you get home, however. You'd be one o the very few taking any precautions....
