it's Easy to locate, It has Ample parking space. The staff there are friendly. They do have the latest movies. I love their variety of cafeterias and food vendors, *I like food* It's neat and well maintained. #Update: There is a free photoshoot place now, yay. Also I love Chinese Food, and they have two great Chinese restaurants, Yin Yang and Triple J. Although, Triple J's taste hasn't been consistent. But the last time I went it was still as great. Hopefully they keep the consistency. Yin Yang is consistent all over, so it's good. The game places are also nice. And other stores you can always walk into to get literally anything.

The cinema was great. Could be heavily crowded on public holidays and festive periods. Movie options are okay, you might just need to check their catalogue online to find one suitable for the moment. I sometimes feel like Silverbird cinemas have more options though. The cinema is great, high screen resolution and good quality sound. Seats are comfortable as well. Movie tickets were sold at 3,000 naira per person but prices sometimes may vary depending on festive periods, public holidays or weekends. You can always confirm prices also on their website online or just at the cinema reception. Movie ticket attracts a regular popcorn packand a drink.

I met really amiable and lively staff yesterday at genesis cinemas, Maryland. The air conditioning is superb too! We just need some cool free 3d glasses yunno😉 Overall, a great experience.

The mall was great but the viewing at screen 2 was dark and the top row seats were a bit tight but great service. Except the security guy asking us to leave when the movie credits were still rolling, I found that quite rude.

I rated Genesis Cinemas 3 star some while ago, and that was because of their sound system which was horrible back then. I was there of recent, and it was fairly decent, only issue I had this time around was the walkway light that was left on and bright during the movie showcase. So I will leave my rating at 3 stars at the moment.

Nice place and good staff. But I have an issue with their kitchen. I don't think because one pays to see a movie, the person should get bad food or snacks. I visited there today, 20th March 2021, and I paid for both the Popcorn and drink package and the sharwarma and drink package. The sharwarma was one of the worst I have eaten. The hot dog abi sausage tasted stale with a hard skin, the chicken/sauce was salty this was quite surprising. But I appreciate the fact that when I told the guy, he didn't argue, he just said okay and brought chicken and sauce for me to taste and confirm if it was better, but it wasn't, the chicken was tasteless in that too and I shared my honest feedback with his consent. I was told the popcorn package also came with ice cream but unfortunately, the ice cream was more like melted cream and was dripping everywhere because it was too full in the cup. The taste wasn't superb also. I really think Genesis needs to work on the food and snacks, at least my receipt read 1,700 for sharwarma and I know if I pay that outside and I get this kind of sharwarma, I would be upset.

Awesome experience you get when you watch a movie there. Popcorn also taste good for someone who doesn't like sugary foods. LOL For the record, Dwindle is an interesting movie.

This is definitely a very cool place to hangout alone or with friends and loved ones, shop many quality items like shoes, bags, perfumes, clothes, etc, watch movies, play games, etc. There are a cluster of many other stores so you have variety to chose from. It also has a workstation, (a separate part of the building where meetings, corporate events, classes, conferences, etc can hold for a certain amount. This place doesn't have a staircase, just an escalator which sometimes don't work. There's also an elevator. Be mindful that this place gets filled up quickly during the week and also on holidays. I actually spotted a Chinese restaurant and whilst I can't speak on the food, you can get other meals of your choice - jollof rice, fried rice, chicken, barbecue fish, asun, everything from a breakfast to dinner menu. Closing hours are usually by 10pm and they open around 9am. All in all, this place bangs!

It was a good timeout with my angels and they enjoyed their movie at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas Maryland The Black Adam Hopefully, I'll gist with them later to know about the black Adam Cool place to see a movie if you stay around the area of Anthony, Maryland, Mende and co.

The cinema experience was great, loved the ambience and the snacks. The security were a bit disorganised but it's okay. Customer service was great and ticket prices were not too expensive. The cooling system was okay but you'll still need to take a sweater along. The restroom was clean and tidy, wasn't smelly. Overall it was a great experience.

Maryland mall is a great place to go for a date and hang out with friends. I was opportune to taste IRIE's milkshake and ice- cream which was so creamy and delicious. I also went for African finger foods peppered chicken which was nice(just there).

We had a private viewing session in Cinema screen 1 today where our team watched "THE WOMAN KING" and it was an awesome experience. Neat and moderately cold hall, super polite staff and delicious hotdogs and sharwama

Good cinema experience but the speakers in hall 4 needs adjustment. The tweeters are too loud and the popcorn can taste better.

It was worth it! Video and Sound experience was good (no subtitles, I dunno if it's a cinema thing)... I even made a mistake while booking once and the staff were super helpful in helping me resolve it. Although the social media presence seems to be lacking, it's still a place you'd wanna watch movies and enjoy, either alone or with (a) friend(s).

It's a great place to hang out with friends and watch movies. Tickets just get quite expensive on the weekends. But you could chill round and eat at one of the eateries and take pictures (there's a good lighting there).

I enjoyed my time here, though the escalator was not working. I had to climb the stagnant escalator to the like the second floor to watch a movie, the seats in the cinema was good and comfortable compared to other cinemas I've gone to. The popcorn made sense though I feel it could have been better. The staffs were not too friendly but over all, enjoyed my movie

The maintenance culture is actually alarming. I couldn’t sit down cos the chairs were broken, the cinema hall smelt moldy and when I finally found a seat, it was really dirty. Left the cinema because I couldn’t imagine sitting through John wick in that space. Don’t get me started on the nonfunctional AC and limited snack options. Fix it, it’s not cute!

Booking movies online and checking in the tickets were stress free. Cinema was great! Clean bathrooms. The mall altogether was a hundred for me. They had proper maintenance and good customer service. Definitely recommended!!!

Terrible and annoying. I'm not happy with my experience today 12th Sept 202. I called the customer care of a Genesis Cinemas at 1:49pm today, asking if I can see The Free Guy at Maryland mall, the guy said its available and I can book online at Genesis website. I booked and made payment for two., movie was scheduled for 4:15pm Sunday. (Same day) On my arrival to Maryland Mall, the attendant said they ain't showing Free Guy instead I should see Bad Comment (A movie I'm not interested in) She also said Free Guy movie was never scheduled for Sunday. How on earth would they allow me to pay for a movie through their website and still tell me the movie isn't avaliable. And why didn't the customer care agent i spoke to tell me the movie wasn't available, why also did they put the negative info on their website. This is very annoying and my last time here.

It was a really fun experience. Ate at THE PLACE, went skate board riding, watched Shang-Chi at Genesis cinema, there was more to do but no time... If I had fun then you'll definitely have fun if you go with the right person.

I have seen a number of movies here but today I caught Shang Chi from Marvel Studios. It was the last viewing for the day. This cinema 🎥 is located on the upper floor of the Maryland Shopping Mall. The bog black building with a huge led screen facing Ikorodu Road leading to Maryland. The cinema use to have loyalty cards the time I was there. I was told they are upgrading to an app. Confectionery stand offers soda drinks, water, popcorn and the recently advertised chicken sandwiches although I did not see the latter.

Good place to see new movies but screen 2 needs improvement. Not so clear HD but good setting. 3 Stars points.

Impressed with the atmosphere. Nice place to take a person on a date, outing and relaxation. The numerous activities in several sections was great. You have games, shopping, restaurant and other stores filled with excitement.

I personally love this place. The organization of different unit of businesses is just superb. It's located along the express where getting vehicle to your destination is made easy.

Screen is sometimes smaller than the size of played videos, so some part of the video cannot be seen. The light from the door reflects off the screen, and so messes up the colour of the movie. Lastly, in my last visit (to see Free Guy) was sweating in the hall; apparently the air conditioner was not turned on through the movie. The sound seems to be good though.

First time was ok. Cinema sound not the best in terms if sharpness, the low frequency not really there but ok. Second time, not so nice. We were in a hall, movie did not start, 10 mind after supposed start time, was told to wait 5 more mins to move to another hall!!! Not nice at night. But, I'm willing to try again
