Very old fashioned. Inside pool can only be used with swim cap. Rooms are really really old. Were full of spiders and mosquitos... could hear people in other rooms cough. Didn't have wifi in the room... Was kinda afraid of asking questions cause at the check in i would ask some stuff and would always be told off that they would explain in proper time... Restaurant on permises waaaay to expensive and didnt have much choice... Was expecting a bit more than that for a "3 stars" as they call themselves.. Had to get at 5 am to tell local workers to make less noise... basically you could hear everything from the neighbour rooms aaand last but not least, worst breakfast I've ever had in portugal. No natural juices, only canned fruit, you have to tell in advance what you want to eat and that's basically it. Reaöly do not recommend!

An excellent option to sleep in the region. Good parking and an amazing view over the lake specially in the evening and early morning. Relaxing and great service. Should be modernized as facilities are getting old. Nevertheless a good option

The staff was always very nice and helpful. The triple room was big and clean. The indor pool was good and big enough to swim. The outdor pool and the space around is also beautiful. The breakfast was good enough. Was not the one with more variety that we experienced but was enough variety to offer a good breakfast. The hotel restaurant is good and the buffet with two different hot options had a good diversity. I can consider that was a very pleasant stay to our family in this hotel. Another important note, is the great view that we have from the restaurant and breakfast rooms to Pateira lagoon. The only downside that I have to present is the fact that the hotel seems to need some preservation work.

Absolutely lovely little hotel we found here at Pateira de Fermentelos. The indoor pool came in handy because of the weather. All the staff is AMAZING. Great food. Definitely will recommend and review on TripAdvisor as well.

Didnt stay here but was impresed by the huge hotel and the cleanliness of the place.

Nice elegant hotel, with some beatiful antic stuff, though it needs a little of refreshment.

Try the Bacalhau com Natas, but don't be in a rush, as service can sometimes be slow. Nice view.

Very good food. Always good to visit their restaurant Pato Real.
