Clean and comfortable rooms. The service is excellent with the reception being extremely helpful and fast. Breakfast was delicious and Jana is welcoming and helpful. Perfect location right in the center of Beirut. Highly recommend for your stay

I spent two weeks at the Gefinor Rotana on a work trip to Beirut and it was a great experience through and through. My room was initially a little noisy but I was moved as soon as I asked at reception. Mira was very helpful and professional in getting this change. The new room was lovely: quiet and overlooking the trees on Rue Jounblat and down to the sea. I woke to birdsong every day. Really peaceful and great for my deadline. Breakfast was delicious: far beyond anything I have had at other 5*s (probably because Lebanon's food culture is far beyond that in Europe). Only thing I would change would be better coffee but there was enough caffeine to get me awake. Gym was good and pleasantly unbusy. I had room service several evenings after long days when I was too tired to go out and want to thank Tareq and the guys in the kitchen for their lovely warm service and delicious food. They were so friendly and accommodating: they really made it a home from home. Thanks so much to the Gefinor for looking after me. I hope to be back.

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed trying Lebanese food, . The place is very quiet and comfortable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very cheerful and helpful.

I have stayed at many hotels around the world and this one has to be the worst, would not recommend staying here at all. Firstly, they charge way too much for laundry, charged per item at an extremely high price so watch for this. Secondly, all the service here is very slow, waiting 40 minutes for food at the pool, and then 30 minutes for evening cocktails is not acceptable especially when we were the only ones at the bar. Thirdly, they wouldn't accept a legal $100 note because apparently it was an older note, but received through an ATM when getting cash out the day before checkout, apparently its hotel policy which is ridiculous. Many of the staff working can no speak great english, if you have allergies it's very hard to explain, nearly got caught multiple times been told things were dairy free when they actually contained dairy when I have friend who spoke the language double check for me. Room was clean and tidy, and view was nice from the ocean view I booked.

The experience overall very good. Pool areas and service could be slightly better. Very friendly hotel great staff. Will defiantly come back. Karim made are stay extra special.

This place has amazing service! Hamsa- the receptionist- made our experience so special. She felt like family to us & took such great care of us. Ali, Abbas & Wael at the restaurant gave us amazing service & made us feel right at home. All the staff that work in the restaurant are amazing including the chefs!! They are so attentive & give us space to enjoy our food. We really had a wonderful time with our servers. They all deserve a raise! The team & the hotel is beautiful & so welcoming. They have the top service!! Everyone is so thorough. We will come back just for Hamsa, Abbas, Ali & Wael. They are so special. Come stay here!

This is the hotel to stay at if you're in Lebanon. I was extremely impressed by all of the staff within the hotel.I'd like to give the manager Mr. Ali L recognition for everything he provided. Most importantly I'd love to give a high recognition for Mr. Mohamad M he was very caring, helpful and made our stay very comfortable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy in our stay. I'd also love to give special recognition to Mrs. Rania from housekeeping who provided very good service. They all represented what true customer service is, no matter what my family and I asked for they were able to arrange everything. Location is very convenient to anywhere in Beirut. Rooms are extremely clean and fairly spacious and some overlook the sea. Food is very delicious

Exceeded my expectations. The night manager in particular, Mohammed, gave us excellent service throughout our stay. All the staff we encountered were polite and courteous. The valets were always prompt. We enjoyed the facilities of the hotel, including the rooftop pool, bar & sauna; and all the room service we ordered was of excellent quality. The view from the suites was great! It was the best experience that I have had in a hotel in many years. A haven to come back to after the busyness of the city of Beirut. Our suites had all the amenities we would want, and the daily cleaning service kept them up to a high standard. We enjoyed complimentary fresh fruit, fresh towels, and fresh robes daily. It was a pleasure to be in the rooms.

The service and atmosphere at Gefinor Rotana in Beirut, Lebanon was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I have never see any serivce below this across the world. Gefinor Rotana expected my son to write an apology letter for another guest becuse my son had dialed the wrong room number by mistake (around 11:30 pm). I was in range of displeased emotions when the front desk manager would not come out of a meeting to speak to us and left the front receptionist do all the talking... the front desk manager has the expectation for my family to care after his guest instead of himself. The most important part of his job is to please his guests - that was not accomplished. On our second night we visited their lounge, the service was very poor with no waitress near by. We had to get up ourselves and enter the hotel when seeking for assistance. The next day i went to the pool around 10 am and thier was no service I was thier for 45 minutes and no one showed up. In addition the hotel expected to only be paid in US dollars and would not return the expected change. I would have to ask to receive the respcted change and it would only be returned in Labanies Lera. If it is expected from the guests to pay in US dollars then US dollars should be returned. I am woundering if we had checked in with our Canadian passport do we get a different treatment and service??

Wonderful stay at this hotel while in Beirut. Had the mixed grill for dinner which was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Waseem attended to all my needs very professionally. Highly recommend

the hotel was soooo beautiful and for a good price. i was very comfortable happy with my room. the food is a solid 9/10 and if you don’t like something they will always have another. hookah actually taste good and the people who work here are so respectful and caring. 10/10 would come again

Really liked this hotel. The rooms are a bit old but very clean. The staff especially Karim is very kind and did his best to meet our request! Would stay here again if I go back to Beirut!

Loved this hotel and would definitely stay again whenever I’m in Beirut. We stayed during our wedding week so we tried both a regular room and the ambassador suite. Cleaning was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The garden courtyard and pool and gym facilities were nice too. Only con is the traffic in front of the hotel can get bad in the mid afternoon

This was not my first time there. It’s still my best Hotel in Beirut the staff are great and helpful. I always enjoy my stay there. Khalil at the pool is still my best man,his service and dedication to his job is way beyond.Mohammad was welcoming at the reception . Breakfast was great as usual and all the staff there was friendly especially the game changer Bilal. When he started his service he turned the restaurant to a lively place.

We stayed there for 4 days .. the hotel in general was nice and the location was perfect .. staff were so friendly .. the rooms were clean with a balcony for smokers .. In general it is one of the best choices for less than 100$ aday About the cons : 1- we made a reservation through their website but we had to pay in cash when we arrive because they don't take online credit card reservations .. they told us we had to make a reservation through a 3rd party like (booking or Expedia). 2- the rooms' noise canceling is So bad .. you can hear everybody in the lobby walking or the rooms next to you. Other than that everything was perfect. We will come againg for sure.

I had booked and paid for a 3 night stay and was called the next morning and told that we had booked one night only and asked to leave. No money was returned and the price we thought was for 3 nights was for 1 night. Poor service - would avoid hotel.

No hospitality. Not clean. I didn’t like yhe service at all comparing to a five stars hotel. The salon smell was so nasty as well. We barely spent one night there.

We enjoyed new year 2022 Eve at Gefinor Rotana. Food and dessert were delicious 😋 🍨 and music, guests and employees were remarkable.

Best place to live in town. Near to Hamra area for shopping. Some rooms are small with little space. The gym is good along with the swimming pool. Overall have the best view of corniche.

Clean, safe and good rate

Professional is the best way to describe the hotel. It’s not cool, it’s not trendy and the rooms are pretty generic, but the hotel is clean, the staff really friendly, and the price extremely reasonable. If you have a car they have a valet service which turned out to be super useful during my stay. The only thing I can fault the hotel on is the lack of English TV stations to choose from. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Attended a conference for a day. Did not sleep in the hotel. Conference room was spacious, well-lit, abd comfortable. Also has necessary sound and technological amenities. Had lunch. Open buffet was delicious. Varied. Generally staff were very polite. Definitely recommend for a conference

Tried this hotel for a yoga session, which they do weekly on the rooftop, where they have a pool overlooking the sea. The view is amazing and the vibes are great. Just sitting on this rooftop can make you feel relaxed 🤩 highly recommended 🥰

The Gefinor Rotana has the best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The front desk staff, doormen, and cleaning team treated me like family! It is obvious that they sincerely care about their guests. I lived in the long-term stay area of the hotel for 2 months and did not have a single problem. My room had 2 twin beds and a balcony--always very clean. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard as well as a gym and rooftop infinity pool with fantastic city views. I did not eat often at the hotel, but the mezza was delicious. Loved the location--it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to AUB, Hamra Street, and the corniche and there are plenty of stores, bars, and restaurants in the area. 100% recommend the Gefinor Rotana to anyone visiting Beirut. 6-star stay!

It is an excellent choice if you have business in in AUB medical center. It is literally 6 mins walking distance from AUB hospital and medical center. I stayed there for 5 days while on a business visit to Bierut. The none smoking room was OK. Do not expect toilet water spray. Shower is OK. Breakfast options are limited but still OK. Dinner/lunch menu is OK though options are limited. Meal prices are expensive though when compared other restaurants outside. I had no time to visit the pool. Hotel was helpful to arrange airport pickup and dropoff at an extra fee.

Leave aside the neat room and nice view and positive atmosphere of the hotel, it is all nice and sweet but the brilliance of this place is in its people, the amazing, professional and supportive staff, I lost my mobile in the hotel while I was getting help from guest relations and thanks to their integrity and high spirit the moment I asked for it later in the day they started searching and the head of security & front office manager “Ali Lamah” came himself and identified that I’m the owner and gave it back. Thank you Gefinor Rotana! I am extremely happy that I have chosen your hotel for my stay! Big respect

We have been organizing workshops since June 2023 - around 10 workshops have been organized here to date. Service has been great, staff extremely professional and friendly, presentation is always on point, and food tastes great. Overall, our experience is very positive.
