Ample parkings on weekdays. There are public washrooms. The trails run to east and west. To the west, there is a long elevated bridge, very scenic. The trail continues across the Montgomery surrounding the nuclear power plant. Looked like the city did some Reno works lately. Nice trail.

It's a great waterfront park for family fun. There's a playground and splash pad for kids. There are many tables and green spaces for picnic. It's connected with waterfront trail, west to Pickering east to Oshawa. Newer walking Broadway, waterfowl watching, historic site. Public washroom and parking is available.

The park is very spacious, less crowded as compared to other parks nearby. There are well maintained washrooms. There is one snack place where you get non vegetarian options and in veg there are french fries. About the park, there is a nice bridge, children's playing area with swings, slides, etc; there is a beach which has ample space on banks for barbeque. There are dead woods for giving optimum wild raw sitting space at bank. Good place to go and enjoy with family.

A great place for outdoor activities like hiking, sightseeing, bird watching, biking, fishing, picnic, excercise, pictorials and other fun activities near the lake. Free parking for Ajax residence and affordable and abundant parking spaces. Bonus with park amenities like washroom, splash pad, playground, picnic tables and many more.

I understand the need for a solution to the parking issue but not a fan for $20 to park on weekends. The path is nice but often walkers take the whole path an ignore bike bells. It is a divided path and so they should move to one side and allow others to pass easily. Best to go at off peak times so that you get a better experience. Also, going further away from Rotary Park can be a better experience as the people near the park don't pay any attention to the path and I have nearly hit kids and adults alike who run onto it without looking.

Not bad for a beach trail connected with many others....make sure the lake water is in good condition on the day of visit, otherwise is not worth the high cost and extreme enforced parking lot!

Do you want to fish with a minimal wave? This place is loaded with fishes, especially catfish. You will enjoy a panoramic view of nature while fishing, kayaking, or paddle boating. Of course, you need to have your personal floating device worn all the time as you don't want to drown here. There's a big trail of bike and picnic area to enjoy aside from fishing.

Lots of fun to be had ! Two separate playground areas. One for older kids and one for toddlers. There is also a big splash pad with lots of room. Plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy a picnic. There is also a beach area to enjoy. Paid parking on weekends 10$ for three hours by scanning the QR code online.

I am here all the time a year round. I walk the waterfront trail In the summer there is a snack stand with snacks and beverages. There are also proper washrooms and Port a Potties. There is also a kids playground and splashpad. I often use the boat launch to launch my kayak and there are many others that do. It launches into Duffins Creek where you can access the creek or Lake Ontario Note parking is paid via app on Sat, Sun and holidays. If you are a resident of Ajax you may apply to the Town to get your licence plate authorized to park for free. In the winter most of those amenities are closed. However the waterfront trail is plowed (but not the bridges)

Its an OK spot for just relaxing in the summer weather, there is a canoe/ kayak launch area, small space for fishing, paddling opportunities up the creek, lots of wildlife at certain times. There is a splash pad for the kids, a play park for tots and one for bigger kids and not to forget, there's miles and miles of the lakefront trail which leads towards Whitby and beyond in the east and to the west it goes to Pickering and beyond in the west. The trail is paved and good for strolling, walking, jogging, cycling or just exploring. It can be at bit busy so walk/ ride with caution and observe staying on the appropriate side of the walking path. It's not a bad place, but improvements can and should be made at the pavilion to its washroom facilities. The volume of people that flock here in the summer months the washroom facilities needs to be upgraded to accommodate more people, make it accessible to all, there needs to be a wheelchair ramp to access the male washrooms, the washrooms should open later in the summer months and stay open throughout the year, not just seasonal. Paid parking is in effect on certain days but free on other days of the week so be sure to read the signs posted.

Lovely place to spend an evening. Sunset and moonrise look particularly beautiful. There is a kids playground, washrooms and snack counter here. If you walk to the west, you cross a marsh area with lovely birds and view of the Toronto skyline. If you walk to the east, the views of the lake from above are gorgeous. Perfect for bike rides, strollers and dog walks.

Peaceful, quiet and beautiful. These are the best ways to describe the Rotary Park in Ajax. It is usually never busy and the other patrons are friendly as well. The kids love playing in the park in the area and love going for a walk along the shore on the paved walkways. The area is truly mesmerizing during the sunrise and sunset hours as the colours radiate beautifully on the water and trees in the area.

One of the best parks in Ajax. It has water park, kids play zone and dining benches. Parking is a big challenge in Summer. Cooking not allowed in the park.

Great place to hang out with kids of all ages. My boyfriend has three kids, 1 teenage and 2 preschoolers. We go by there almost every 2 weeks. Great for biking, walking, playgrounds, skating, and ball games due to the open space available on grass. A lot of people is there during summer time flying kites, and walking pets. Very ideal for a relaxing family day

Ajax Rotary Park Pickering Waterfront Duffins Creek Trail This is the tail end of Duffins Creek which flows into Lake Ontario.  The bridge connecting the Waterfront trails of Ajax and Pickering (border) is now open (it was closed due to construction). The Duffins Creek is a busy one, people go there to kayak. There is a boardwalk from where you can view Duffins Creek flowing into Lake Ontario. The Rotary Park is the starting point for a lot of trails in the Ajax Waterfront area. It has a play area for kids
