Good restaurant. But expensive a bit. First time try. Nice customer service.

Place is quite compact and gets very busy. Due to the busyness the food takes sometime to reach you. By the time my daughter got her food the rest of us had finished eating. The servers are really friendly and helpful but too busy. Hard to get their attention. Food tasted good and the churros were delicious. Grande dishes are disappointing. The regular - you get two of each thing. Grande - you get one big item, which amounts to the same size, if not smaller for more money. These dishes needs Improvement.

The food is amazing here. Everyone enjoyed their food. Their beans is really tasty. The only thing I didn't like was their cocktails, It was as if its just juice. Overall, pretty good place to eat.

Very good food and delicious!! Excellent and friendly service!! We will definitely return. We had the queso fundido, enchiladas suizas and the red enchiladas and the delicious churros 😋.

The food here is really good. Unlike most Mexican places the food here actually tastes authentic and the restaurant decor adds to the authentic feeling. My only complaint is that I felt the portion sizes could be a lot bigger for the price as I didn’t feel full after finishing my food but besides that I really enjoyed my meal. The added bonus is that they have a really good hot sauce (diablo sauce) which is both spicy and very tasty.

One of the best Mexican places in Ajax. When you go in you feel like you are in Mexico especially when they have Mexican hats that you can wear and eat with. The people there are super sweet and friendly. They are asking us if we are enjoying the food and experience plus they’re always smiling which makes the experience better. The food is good. Loved the guacamole there and had the veggie enchiladas. Gonna come back here for sure.

We weren't sure what to expect because the plaza that this restaurant is located in does not look so appealing (overall). But the restaurant was recommended to us so thought we would give it a shot. We are SO happy we tried this place! It appears to be a family (or close relatives) run restaurant. Inside the lights are dimmed a bit and there is light music playing in the background. There is a LOT of decor inside the restaurant (can be considered a bit tacky but it goes with the theme of the restaurant). We loved the demeanor of our waitress. She was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive yet not overly talkative, fake, or "extra". She responded to our questions about the menu and gave suggestions when asked. The manager/owner (?) came by too to see if everything was to our satisfaction. We ordered the nachos and two entrees (with chicken, beef, and chorizo). They are generous with their portions, especially with the cheese! The heat level (in terms of spiciness) was wonderful as well; made to order so make sure to let them know your heat preference. The tortillas were perfect, the meats were cooked well/full of flavour, and the rice was light and fluffy. We were totally stuffed after dinner - in a good way! Yummy :)

Haven't been at this location in years, but it was a nice experience overall. Staff had some trouble with our order but they fixed it and were very courteous. Perhaps new servers. Nice place to visit.

Average Mexican restaurant. Definitely cutting corners by not making fresh salsa (what we received was a watery bland tomato sauce, like from a can, I was shocked!) and using non traditional cheeses like mozzarella & feta. The portion sizes were very small for the price. Coming from South Florida I am a bit spoiled when it comes to authentic Mexican food, but if they made a few changes it would make a huge difference. Have yet to find a truly authentic Mexican restaurant in this area.

The food and cocktails tasted really great! The waitress was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. For the price, I feel the portions could be a bit bigger. I will definitely return.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! Please verify your order at least twice before eating or take out. I ordered veggie nacho platter and they served it with meat, very horrible experience for me. Burrito and Chimichanga which should taste tangy and hot were completely bland, never expected that Mexican food would taste like that. Even after serving the wrong nachos dish this restaurant charged me for it. Spoiled our evening. Please avoid this place, there are lot of other Mexican places to eat.

I’ve ordered delivery and had take out from here and both times were delicious. Tastes like authentic Mexican food, portions are generous without leaving you stuffed, and everything is fresh. Hoping to try dining in soon too!

Ice cold! Ordered from Uber to support local and when I received my order (5 min drive) the whole meal was ice cold. Disappointed ☹️

I had the opportunity to dine here recently. It was disappointing to say the least. I ordered the guacamole, it was served in a cut halved cardboard takeout container? It was tasteless and the presentation even worse! Guacamole recipe, mashed avocado, diced seeded tomato, diced white onion, healthy pinch of sea salt, white pepper and a generous squeeze of lime! Should a Mexican restaurant not know the simplicity of a decent guacamole? It was accompanied by chips that resembled cardboard, hard, not seasoned and a teaspoon of red sauce No salsa! The clincher here is they charged $13.50 for the guacamole!! Of note, I’m not a fan of The Lonestar, the quality of their food is poor at best, however, their chips and salsa are second to none! Mexico Lindo used to be our go too, years ago it was substantially better than it is now!! If guacamole is a challenge, how do you prepare mole? Also, water was served in plastic cups, no ice or straws? Definitely won’t return.

Ordered a takeout last night. Chicken quesadilla - so so Vegetarian chimichanga - very bad. Just broccoli, carrot and zuccini big chunks with cheese. Churros - gave with strawberry sauce. Noo! Tortilla chips was really good. Not ordering here again.

Amazing food. Experienced the true Mexican style. Friendly hosts, unique decoration. This was the best thing that happened to us that day. Located in a small shopping complex, plenty of space to park. Busy but not over crowded. Must visit and I will visit again to 😀😀

Good takeout service but underwhelmed with flavour and portion size. Guacamole was delicious albeit a very small portion, but flavour on meat and rice fell flat - very little salt or spice and no citrus. Unfortunately would have to pass on ordering a second time. May dine in-person once lockdown orders are lifted as location does have great reviews.

Best Mexican restaurant hands down in AJAX! Love the variety and authenticity of the food options. Quick, fast and personable service every time I’ve visited this location. Drinks, amazing! Will be going back again once lockdown is lifted

Mexico Lindo is an should gem in Ajax/ GTA for authentic Mexican food. Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Tried the guacamole, pozole and a combo burrito plate. All the food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Go there. Eat there. LOVE IT THERE!

Ordered fajitas for the first time at this spot. We went thru SkipTheDishes. Very authentic, and tasty. One of the sauces (not sure, may be a dip?) was exceptionally flavorful. It’s these little gems in our community that make Durham unique. We need to keep these spots thriving and in the future, when my husband and I crave Mexican fare again, we’ll definitely be coming back to Mexico Lindo. Thumbs up! Decent portions and price point. Not laden with sodium either, like much of the Mexican fare out there.

Not really an authentic menu, but what we had was good. Probably would be better if they stuck with true Mexican street food. The Birria tacos we had were great!

I dont know if it was a bad night or because we did take out. Was told 10-15 minutes for pick up. When hubby went to pick up was told another 5. We are less than 5 minutes from home. Everything was cold and soggy. Nachos were soggy, Enchiladas were disintegrating so they were just mush and bland, chicken was dry. Chimichanga was extremely salty. Best thing was the salad and rice. Burritos were cold as well. Hopefully this was a just a bad night.

They tried to change prices after ordering. They billed us more than what the menu says. To be clear 40 more. Then proceeded to point to a small asterisk on the menu with like size 3 font that says prices may change at any time... like during the middle of a meal???????? They Refused to give money back. Acted like they didn't know how to give a refund. The reviews for this place must be fake. The food is of poor quality and very bland. On top of all that my family got food poisoning for a 100 dollar meal.

Great flavor and taste. Went with a large party and service was great. I highly recommend the sangria if you like sangria. The only negative I saw was that the portions of the sides (rice/beans) was small considering the price (meals without drinks range from 20-30 w/tax) and there wasnt a verde salsa option. The smoky salsa (not sure what its called) is really good, Try if for yourself. I got the beef chimichanga (deep fried burrito) as it's my go-to comfort food meal. I personally would skip the horchata as it's stronger cinnamon flavor than I'm used to but that's my preference. Definitely worth a try if you want Mexican food.

I normally go to the Whitby location however it was closed and I decided to try the Ajax location. Do yourself a favour and don't bother. It's not the same in the least. Portions are MUCH smaller, everything was so over salted. The mole sauce did not taste like mole at all. For $55 I'm so upset.

Comforting Mexican food in Ajax. Fried icecream is not really fried but coated in Cornflakes and on a fried tortilla. The rice and refried beans are delicious. The jalapeño sauce with the chicken burritos are amazing
