I chose the Cuarto de Tula to spend my first days alone in La Habana, waiting to start a diplomatic study mission with other students. My overall experience at Cuarto de Tula was excellent: spacious and comfortable room, renovated bathroom, clean and always equipped with the necessary products. The abundant breakfast and excellent cuisine (both Cuban and Caribbean) have made this B&B a point of reference even after check out. I will never forget the taste of grilled fish! The staff immediately proved helpful and kind, recommending me some visits in the city and out of town. Another fundamental aspect was the ability to connect to the internet: Havana does not have free WIFI and finding it is extremely difficult (generally available only in large hotels). The excellent quality of the cuisine and the comfort of the furnishings were also greatly appreciated by the other students, who wanted to dine at the Cuarto de Tula twice! Totally recommended!

It's not really that close to the touristic part of Havana, but we stayed there for two nights and it was actually pretty nice and the guys there took good care of us and helped us catch cabs and find our way. But most importantly, try the food! The steak was just absolutely perfect, just unbelievable! Thank you for that experience!

This spot is quaint and very ecclectic. the waiters were amazing and the food was to die for. everything we had there was great but i especially loved the stuffed avocado. Can't go to Havana without checking them out. Drinks were awesome too.

Stayed here for one night. Very accommodating. Room was clean. Ate in the restaurant and it was one of the best meals I ate during my whole time in Cuba

I visited only the restaurant and I came here each day. The food for lunch / dinner is very yummie and well done though not cheap for Cuba. You pay extra for the service as well. The breakfast here is okay. Cuba has no breakfast culture so do not expect too much of it in general. The only bad thing with this place is that WiFi is only for the guests of the hotel. That should be changed because each guest (of the restaurant or the hotel) should enjoy the same fine service. I did not try the cocktails here cause of too many warnings ;) but the cuisine is amasing!

Had a cocktail. (long island ice tea) yesterday. One of the worst cocktails i ever had. The price was 800pesos which is pretty high. When i after 5minutes tried to leave the place, giving the waiter the money, they stopped me and urged me to pay for the services (they created a bill for the cocktail). I told him: "wow, 1000 pesos for a drink." (Which again was very bad and small). Sorry, but no thanks.

We had a good stay there. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Nice location, Safe and clean neighborhood. The restaurant is superb. Clean & cozy. The price is a little higher than other restaurants but less than old Havana. We had several meals and the taste is better than other restaurants in Havana. Tropical Aroma fish recommended.

We stayed here for one night. We had paella for lunch, which was really nice. For dinner we had a pasta and a fish soup. Both were really tasty! We ate the best food during our stay in Havana here! Also the room was very clean, the bed was nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to stay here if you go to Havana!
