Hostel Don Domingo was really ace. When we arrived to Havana one of my friends needed to leave his luggage somewhere in Havana so that he does not need to carry it with him the whole weak (he had this big suitcase on wheels as he just returned from China). We found this one by accident when walking the streets of Havana actually. We agreed that we can keep the luggage there and come back after 4 days and then we wanted to stay for 2 nights. Everything was fine and we even paid some money upfront. When we came back after 4 days, we were welcomed by the owner with a few shots of rum. We received loads of tips on where to go for great and cheap food, where to go for drinks etc. The owner also suggested that he has got a friend coming over and if we all want to join them and go out for a few drinks, we can. That was pretty awesome as did get to a few bars where you don't get to as a regular tourist. The owners were really kind and we had breakfast ready every day in the morning as agreed the night before. We were a bit lucky as well as there were no eggs in Havana before we got to this hostel due to the hurricane Irma, funny :)

We stayed here on both arrival and departure from Havana and couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, it was also great that one was English speaking so he could give us tips about what to do, how much we should spend, and how to experience real Cuba! We had a great time and met other lovely, fun guests too. The location is perfect- in a local area and just a few minutes walk from all the sights. The hot showers and cheap daiquiris were a bonus too! Thanks so much Don Domingo, you made us so welcome and we shall miss you!

This place is spectacular , it's deffrient than any other hostel I stayed in , when you stay there you'll feel like you're home, the atmosphere is amazing the people of the hostel are Totally helpful even if you don't now nothing about havana don't wo rry they will take care of everything , the price is cheap the place is clean , steps from the sea side , and they offer a breakfast and dinner for a good price. المكان روعة أنصح فيه بشدة، نظيف و سعره مناسب وعلى بعد خطوات من البحر و مو بعيد من الأماكن السياحية ، أصحاب المكان بنفسهم يشرفوا عليه و خبراء بالمدينة وحيساعدوكم بأي شي تحتاجوه.

Hostel Don Domingo is a brand new hostel in central Havana. It's in a great location and walking distance to old Havana and the revolution/art museum. A wifi location is 1min away around the block. The rooms are clean, have A/C and bathrooms with actual hot water and water pressure. The owner is really nice and very helpful with advice and trip planning. He answered my countless questions about Cuba/where to eat/what to do etc. They changed money for me, went to buy Internet cards with me, took us to the carnival and a very cool art venue/club/bar at night and so much more. He can also help you with collectivos and how much taxis etc should cost. They offer meals which are tasty and reasonable priced if you don't want to eat in the area. This hostel is great value for money and I felt very at home here. Thanks again Scott, I had a great time!

This hostel is centrally located between all the things you will want to see in Havana. It’s a 5 minute walk from O’Reilly, Plaza Vieja, and the Capitol, Plaza de Catedral, and a 20 second walk from the Malecón (beautiful ocean walk). The hostel sells waters, refreshments, and breakfast for very cheap. There is also an incredible culture of sharing a few rum drinks and swapping stories with the local Cubans and other guests. By far the most friendly and conversational hostel I have ever stayed in. The employees are very knowledgeable of Cuba. They speaks many languages, can teach English, and is are worldly people. Myself and other hostel guests went out for fantastic meals around Havana that the owner frequents, and he brought us to an incredible arts/cultural street fest. I ended up becoming very ill, and The employees were ready to bring me to the hospital. Hostel Don Domingo is an upstanding hostel that cares about its guests. 10/10 would return to Hostel Don Domingo.

We booked to stay in Hostel Don Domingo for three nights, but ended up staying for six nights! The rooms are quite basic, however the location is great, the showers are good, it's a sociable environment (we met lots of other travelers) and the staff were very friendly. It was very helpful that one of the staff members spoke English, giving us a lot of tips that prepared us for the rest of the journey. The staff also took their time to show us around the city, giving recommendations about what to do and where to eat, which was very useful. I'd definitely recommend it to others!

Hostel Don Domingo made my stay in Havana perfect! I loved the location near the Malecon, the staff, the drinks! And the beds were truly comfy for a hostel and so clean. It is easy to reserve a room on their Facebook page...so happy I did...I highly recommend and will go back for sure when I can.

Finally a real Hostel in Havana....Air-conditioned dormitory rooms with a common room and travellers from all over the world! Great atmosphere, Great location, Great cocktails....I cannot recommend this place highly enough....(they also have very helpful English speaking manager)...
