Not only were they welcoming but their staff went above and beyond to make our group of five feel at home. We started with drinks;daiquiri, lemonade freeze and a sex on the beach, which were very delicious. From there moved on to our dishes which were ropa vieja(shredded beef in sauce) and langosta(lobster). These plates were exuberant, exquisite and exemplary presented! Not only do I highly recommend this place to dine in but it is a place that will have you feel at home! Thiaggo(hostess) and the owners were excellent hosts and such great hospitality given. Give them a try, it is well worth it. The lady in the images is one of the owners, trust me, you will not be disappointed!!!

Another great spot just off one of the main roads in old Havana- Nat and I came for lunch in 2022. I got the grilled shrimp (served on top of mashed sweet potatoes) and Nat got the ropa vieja. Mines was delicious if slightly under portioned and hers was ever so slightly salty. Prices are also just a tiny bit steeper relative to the surrounding spots, but there were no issues with service. Nat also took advantage of the 150 peso white wine- it was actually quite tasty.

This place was AMAZING. We were coaxed in by the most eccentric front door guy ever. Sounds like a hard sell but it wasn’t. Inside we were greeted by the owner, real nice guy with a genuine interest in his restaurant. The waitress made great suggestions (Claudia) and we had a fabulous meal (I had Cuban pork and my wife had fish with almonds). With croquettes to start and chocolate pie to finish. Absolutely perfect. And great mojito too.

What made it for us was chatting to a great guy..Tony. This man was fantastic. Not only did he go through the menu with us, he shared his knowledge on all things Cuba. Thanks Tony, you are a star!! We also met the owner, another nice guy. The food was great. One of the other things I liked was, later in the evening, the restaurant changed to accommodate a young audience.
