The
visit
was
in
February,
2019.
The
immigration
and
customs
people
are
not
surprising.
At
the
end
of
the
hallway,
you
will
need
to
do
currency
exchange.
Cuba
has
two
money
exchange
systems,
i.e.
foreigners
rate
is
different
from
black/open
market
rate,
more
like
China
in
the
early
80s.
You
will
certainly
get
unfavorable
(fewer)
exchange
money
being
a
foreigner.
Internet
to
the
outside
world
is
restricted.
Not
every
one
in
Cuba
has
a
cell
phone.
A
pay
phone
was
spotted
in
the
building.
In
summary,
Havana
is
a
city
that
almost
makes
you
feel
like
you're
in
Europe,
but
it
is
actually
a
city
that
lacks
maintenance
for
60
years.
Food
varieties
are
limited,
and
food
is
on
ration
to
local
people.
Kids
love
candies
if
you
give
them.
