The visit was in February, 2019. The immigration and customs people are not surprising. At the end of the hallway, you will need to do currency exchange. Cuba has two money exchange systems, i.e. foreigners rate is different from black/open market rate, more like China in the early 80s. You will certainly get unfavorable (fewer) exchange money being a foreigner. Internet to the outside world is restricted. Not every one in Cuba has a cell phone. A pay phone was spotted in the building. In summary, Havana is a city that almost makes you feel like you're in Europe, but it is actually a city that lacks maintenance for 60 years. Food varieties are limited, and food is on ration to local people. Kids love candies if you give them.

The cruise ship barely fits on their dock, are the three main buildings only the one we docked at had a roof. And that while Nice metal roof was already starting to fly off in the Wind. As with most of Havana the city has a lack of infrastructure, and what they do have is falling apart. It is so beautiful, the people are very clean and is very safe and friendly.

Small, yet effective. Staff was friendly and inviting. The restrooms smelled like a locker room bathroom that hadn't been cleaned in a year. Other than that, it was ok.

Make sure you bring water and a cooling fan. The heat is terrible and with no Aircon. There are a few shops to buy souvenirs, they are lovely and one has Aircon! You also get your WiFi pass here in the corner by the stairs. 1CuC for 1hr. Passport control lines can be long. Be prepared to wait.

This terminal is well appointed with shops and money changers, and has direct access to Old Havana. A great way to see the city, hear the.music, sample the food, and experience the amazing history of Cuba.
