Hopeless, definitely don’t recommend Tend at all. Booked an online consult, doctor was 45mins late, didn’t know what to do, so said oh go to A & E and see a doctor. Said they would speak to Tend about waiving the consult, as the only advice I got was pay to see another doctor service. Billed me anyway for this excellent health advice. Have emailed multiple times to Tend questioning it, 4 weeks later still not even a reply. Says they reply within 2 days, about as reliable as the service. Save your self the time and extra cost and see a real the doctor first time.

Tend has somehow commercialized healthcare. The doctor I saw had no interest in helping me, they just wanted to make sure I was in and out as quickly as possible (Which ended up being in 5 minutes for a $55 appointment). The nurse was ok. But they messed up the recording of my medical records and I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it corrected.

It seems to be a constant in the medical care system in NZ and this medical centre is not the exception: not care for patients and their needs, they just run a profitable business and they act in consequence with their business’s needs. There’s no one to talk to if you need. You just have to drop a message in an app and take a sit to wait they get back to you… someday. You has chosen a doctor that makes you feel safe, you get to know each other and you trust on? If that professional is not longer working for them or has moved out, they will not even would let you know about it. You have to consider your visits to a doctor the same way you take your car to a workshop: whoever is there would be the same. It’s doesn’t matter. Except that we are not a car… If by chance you have received treatment elsewhere for whatever reason, it will hardly be updated on your profile. Same lab test or medications that a specialist could have prescribed to you. Be ready for the drama and most importantly, get your wallet ready because they will charge you again even if it’s due their ineffectiveness to keep your records updated. Honestly, my Doctor deserve 5 starts plus, but I will not allow the medical centre take the credit for it.

David the psychologist is always helpful, is always listening attentively and is always offering helpful practical advice. Clear signage from New North Road so the clinic is easy to locate. Near a bus station 24B/24R so public transport friendly. Entrance from both sides so easily accessible; one of them is wheelchair friendly. Prices are friendly to those who are enrolled and/or possessive of a community services card.

Really straightforward GP. At first, i was a bit skeptical because there isn't a lot of review but all of them are good so i said let's give it a try and booked to have a check with Dr.Graham. Overall experience 5/5. There is no need to wait, booking was very fast and easy and to sum it up cost was really reasonable and to be honest much more inexpensive than some other overcrowded and costly places.

I am very grateful to have found this clinic. We are non-resident waiting for our visas to be granted, and my baby has been for 3 days with fever. I've asked many clinics for appointments to my baby, and they refused to give us one if we're non-resident or citizen. We have overseas insurance, but the company didn't answer us, so we started to worry a lot. This is the only clinic where we could have an appointment being from overseas people that I found. My baby is with treatment now.

I don't know where to start with my on-going frustration with this 'so called' medical service .... absolutely no duty of care to patient, placed in very dire circumstances due to inability to receive a repeat prescription for an ongoing mental health issue, despite my best attempts to follow their protocol, and multiple consults, seemingly required to resolve this.

We had a family emergency and the team went all out to help and we got an instant appointment with very experienced Dr Graham who was very helpful and spot on in his diagnosis. I can highly recommend using Tend, I have also used them for online appointments, which is very helpful if you are further afield and need advice.
