    Having the worst experience ever. The doctors are great however the financial part is horrific. I cant get a hold of anyone to save my life!! I am in search of $800 THEY lost and instead of having a local phone number or office I have to contact the 1-800 number and they haven't got a clue about refunds!! And when someone does call me back I cant call them back by the numbers they called from in order to give them more info because they are just general numbers. I paid this money for my daughters medical bill but somehow was sent to my account under my name not hers. This is ridiculous and I am Very agitated. I need that money back to pay my daughters bills before collection!! Its funny how I get there bills but not a refund!!

    Terrible experience all the way around. From waiting on the phone for 10 minutes to reach an actual human to keep getting redirected to leave a message and can't even leave a message. Then reaching a human who was flat out rude talking about that's not the balance I see when I have the bill in front of me, and then will not let me make a payment..WASTE OF TIME!! Just because you work at UNM doesn't make you better then anyone...customer rep i dealt with needs to take a class from continuing education for some better customer service skills!

    HORRIBLE IS A MINIMUM...Pray to God you never owe this group any money. No one ever ever answers the phone, can't leave a message, can't contact them vis emails, no one at UNM hospitals can take a payment for them. 100% negative experience. AND I CAN AFFORD TO PAY THEM....I will let them take me to collections just so they get less!!!

    Profound dysfunction in the billing department - hasn't been addressed in years. Even their front-door number refers "patient billing questions" to another number - which is incorrect (it is the number for UNM Hospitals billing, a completely separate entity with no access to the information in question). This is shameful, and should be addressed by lawmakers.

    UNM Medical Group billing office not at all professional. Called numerous times, put on hold and calls are dropped. The call back feature is useless. No one ever calls back. Good luck to anyone trying to contact them. Doctors are professional and do a great job. But watch out for the billing end!

    UNM Medical Group has been a NIGHTMARE to deal with in regards to insurance and billing. They’ve owed me money back on an account number I over paid on for years, but I just let it go because they are such a nightmare. No one knows what they are talking about. I have been dealing with them for 6 years on billing/insurance issues stemming from the birth of my twins. 6 years!! They are the worst.

    UNM medical group billing is bordering criminal in their behavior. They incorrectly billed me and I have little recourse to fight them.... they don’t even answer their phones. If you receive physician services at UNM (which I believe provides very good care) you are forced to deal with the medical group billing. Someone needs to give them a spanking- in hopes of curbing their rampant ineptitude. Unfortuanlty for now I bear the burden of their mistakes.

    Why does my family YEARLY get these warning letters that an unauthorized third party has gained access to our name, address, date of birth, health care information and clinical information regarding the care we received at UNM? You would think that when it happened the first time they would have updated their security? Switched care to Presbyterian, haven't received a similar letter from them.

    Their billing system is severely lacking. I found out yesterday out last evening that services back from two years ago are now in collections. Stated that they had emailed me numerous notices, but I don't see any sent in my history

😠 Brittany who works the back with the doctor is obscene. Her customer service skills are ridiculous. Constantly talks down to me like I'm a child. Then wants to run tests and I'm not having it. I leave the doctors office and get into the car. Was told if I went back inside someone else would help me....

😠 Lack of communication is a HUGE issue, poorly managed, some staff is very friendly, others are extremely rude. Going to the Dr has never been more frustrating!! One more thing - they lost my medical documentation more than once! Isn't that a HIPPA violation? So unorganized, what is actually going on...
