A
step
back
in
time
-
this
hotel
is
charming
and
has
a
lot
of
history.
The
rooms
are
spacious
and
bright
-
it
is
worth
paying
a
little
extra
to
get
the
corner
suites
as
you
get
windows
on
both
sides.
Service
is
friendly
and
professional
-
from
reception
to
the
cafe
and
housekeeping,
everyone
was
sincere
in
wanting
to
ensure
that
we
as
tourists
enjoy
ourselves!
It
was
just
a
pity
that
their
rooftop
restaurant
was
closed
during
our
stay
so
we
opted
to
have
dinner
outside
the
hotel
at
nearby
eateries.
Breakfast
is
served
in
the
lobby
cafe
and
it
was
substantial
spread
with
fresh
eggs
cooked
to
your
liking.
The
croissants
are
excellent!
Located
along
the
promenade,
one
of
the
downsides
is
that
is
faces
the
main
thoroughfare
so
traffic
noise
can
be
a
bit
loud
but
bearable.
We
wished
the
hotel
has
a
pool
so
we
had
somewhere
to
cool
off
after
a
hot
day
pounding
the
streets
sightseeing.
Overall,
we
had
a
nice
time
here
and
I
would
recommend
the
hotel
(but
just
don’t
expect
a
pool!)
