Bad experience overall. Cleanliness, management, quality of food and service. Staff chasing you for tips and security concerns since no one goes through the x-ray gate. Indoor public smoking. After we booked the room we discovered that the Hotel was under renovation construction and we were promised that our room will be far from the noise which was not true and the management denied to fix the problem. Not to mention that the keys were almost always not working and the rooms were very far away from the reception desk. I received a call from management at 2.20am seeking feedback about my horrible experience at the dinner open buffet.

Being in same premises with a mall has pros and cons depending on your requirements, For me it was a business trip so all i want is a quiet room and wifi. So i didn't mind have a room in a well known name hotel but far away from the sea, and without a view. Food is good, pool is good ( indoor and outdoor ). You will be in the mall in no time as you can access it from any of the emergency exist along with the main entrance of course which is right next to the hotel entrance.

Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza is a nice hotel in a lovely area. It's surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very good, with lots of tasty options.

Super happy with the services!! Got early check-in & the check-in process was fast! Really enjoy my solo getaway. love the staffs, they were all friendly & professional 👍 the hotel is just beside the mall so you can enjoy your time eating, shopping & have fun going to the arcades or watch movies at the cinema. I’m glad that the hotel’s wifi was fast & the room was very cozy & clean. But I would like to suggest that the bathroom maybe need basic maintenance. Overall, It was a nice stay & I can’t wait to come back again.

Highly recommend it. Room is huge and clean. Breakfast is beyond perfect. Service is really good as well. Location is good, no view because not on beach, but close to a mall. Has gym.

Quiet place, nice staff, cleaning is super. Situated in the heart of a two stories shopping mall that of average merchandise and prices. Several cafes are in less tgan 2 minutes walk including Starbucks and caribou. Carrfure Supermarket is 3 minutes walk. Pharmacy and eaterirs are abundant. The only drawback was the bad smell of sewage system nearby, but was very occasional.

If it were a 3-star hotel I would say it's outstanding, but it is not. This 2.6666-star-like hotel is alleged to be 5-star while nothing deserves that but the kind & sweet damsel in the reception hall. Service acceptable and instead of that the problem lies in its very root--the quality and taste of the rooms and the instruments inside. You can say they are lookable and not an eyesore and they have potential but they are hardly striking and elegant compared to other 5-stars. Everything there you can possibly find will be--not a lil' bit expensive, but whopping and astronomical. Just ponder over it for 100 hours and see if you can figure out the reason for its costliness. I haven't. It is hospitable and agreeable if you haven't noticed it's 5-star and expected much, but I will barely recommend you this hotel from the bottom of my heart.

The hotel is very old and needs maintenance everywhere, the rooms are not clean and the bathroom is disgusting, the food is poor, the reception team are lazy and unwelcoming. By the way there was an annoying sound of machine working 12 hours daily which made us runaway from the room most of the time. The 5 stars should be taken away from this hotel.

Cozy and clean rooms. The place is so quiet too despite the hotel was crowded. It was only one night which I stayed there yet a nice and calm one. Staff are so polite and helpful too.

It’s my second time here and definitely will not be the last - the breakfast they serve is awesome, wide variety and excellent ingredients quality - all the staff are amazing and helpful - despite it’s not so close to the Mediterranean Sea , but the green plaza itself is enough as it has a lot of retails like food and beverages, fashion , kids play area and even a cinema

Would've given a 5 star but I went when it was fully crowded. The place is gorgeous and the people are super friendly. Rooms are beautiful and it's in a very active part of Alexandria yet still quiet and private . Looking forward to ky next visit.

Location was the best as everything is available around you, plus it's secure and security personnel everywhere around the plaza. It was a great breakfast and staff super friendly 👌

Awesome place, I stay here for over 4 years now for business trips and work mainly, but its really quite cosy, comfy, and relaxing. Room service is perfect, receptionists are very friendly (quite crowded though), and everything seems wonderful there

Rooms and surrounding shopping experience is great, but location is very crowded and service is poor with some a bit rude employees... But the experience would be above average...

The design of the hotel is really bad, you need to walk a couple of hundred meters to go to one place to the other. Food quality was good but the same every day for breakfast, I didn't try dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful Overall it's okay but I will not go there again

Great hotel situated in a strategic shopping center where a huge variety of restaurants, coffee shops are av… even cinema, children entertainment center, besides the staff are keen to serve with great hospitality, the hotel is very well maintained, food is tasty. I love this place!

The hotel very noisy and there is no hospitality. There are music until midnight. The receptionist Mr. Bassem Mohamad changed the room "with loud music" to onther one that's need hundred of meters to walk. Bad experience

I booked it because it’s a 5 star-hotel under Hilton chain, asked for a renovated room, what more could I ask for! checked in, found the room way below my expectations, old, everything was outdated, wc was leaking and smelling sewage, towels were overused and yellowish, besides the lady at the reception was a bit rude. Location was good, surrounded by many shops, sea front can be reached by a short ride.

Hotel close to the center, on a fenced, nicely arranged area with shops. Inside the hotel there are an open and indoor swimming pools which is an oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of Alexandria.

Total stay was amazing starting from the check in speed by Samia to room assigned also the bellman Essam to the housekeeping quality and fast reaction also the breakfast quality and the hosts team . Also it’s located in nice mall and near from every thing and the highway road , all amazing

Upon entering the room for the first time it was so smelly. The dinner is soo poor with only four items to eat only. Also, shorts arent allowed which is so weird to be honest

As choice, it's all about the location It's located in a very nice location connected to main roads to all Alexandria destinations, In addition to that, it's in the middle of a very large open air mall with almost everything around (shopping , supermarket , gift shops , entertainment, cenima, kids areas , etc...) Finally, the service is great , and the food is high quality. The only one negative point is that rooms are large in space. However, it serves the purpose right .

The hotel is located upstairs from a mall. There are plenty of places to eat. You have to pass thru security check to enter the hotel. Check-in was easy. Getting to our room was long. Long corridors and elevator to the lower floor to get to room. The room was ok. I did ask that the carpet be vacuumed and an iron board and iron be brought to me. No robes or bed slippers provided. No amenities are provided. The hotel could be cleaner, especially carpet throughout the hotel as I saw plates, garbage outside room after 2 days. Lower floor rooms need renovation as shown in pictures The breakfast buffet was good with a variety of options. Staff is friendly and pleasant, especially the security team. I'm not sure if I would stay here again

I stayed 10 days at Green Plaza Hilton, the hotel team were fabulous, very helpful and professional. Breakfast was tasty and many different options. The room cleaning second to none outstanding and the reception team will do whatever to accommodate you with a genuine smile

I felt safe and content at this hotel. The facility is clean, bright, and beautiful. I enjoyed the gym, pool, and food as well. A fun location too! I also appreciate that my privacy was respected here. On the whole, the people were warm, and warmth is something I really value. I'm knocking one star for just a few of the staff's behaviors towards me. Some dark looks in the cafeteria despite me keeping to myself. And in the first half of my stay, the housekeepers kept slamming the neighboring doors. Finally, the Spa receptionist on the night of 9/20 was incredibly rude, harsh, and impatient with me, because I was 1 minute late to my appointment, and because I almost removed my credit card from the machine too early. To that, he grew angry and literally shouted "WAIT, WAIT" at me. I talked to him after my massage (which I couldn't relax for) because I was so shocked by his level of disrespect. He insisted that he was joking but no, if you make someone feel small and inferior, as he did with me, it's clear it's not a joke. It's not funny. I'm still giving 4 stars though because I don't believe that these few people are representative of the whole. I did enjoy my time here, and I would recommend, and return.

Good and comfortable the best thing was the room cleaning service they take care of every details to make it clean. But at the same time the worst thing was the ( mosquitoes 🦟) I recommend providing mosquitoes killer with each room or don’t forget your mosquitoes cream ( for hotel resident ) you could find it in any pharmacy

Totally disappointed with my stay due to service (not professional by all means, and does not comply to Hilton standards). However, reception and front desk were really professional, with some other exceptions across the hotel

We had a wonderful week in Alexandria and a huge part of this experience was our pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are very clean, excellent breakfast, pool and gym available 24/7. The hotel sits in the middle of a shopping mall where you have all the conveniences you need; including a pharmacy, food, supermarket, numerous restaurants from KFC, McDonald's, Harvey's to Asian and local food; even a small mosque. All clean and well-maintained. But the shout-out goes to the hotel staff who were very friendly and go out of their way to help, especially the cleaning staff Ayman, Hassan and others that I didn't catch their names, then the restaurant manager and staff etc. As Alexandria is a huge city, you need a taxi to go distances, but as it feels very safe, you can also roam around during the day. Highly recommended.

Too bad it spares its efforts to rise to the top, which is a feasible target. It's only a couple of steps away from the 5-star rating and it really should do: attention to detail (is that too much to ask for?), offer personalized service (a common mistake nowadays), shuttle bus courtesy, etc. Food and beverage is just good and ought to improve. Cleanliness and hygiene are very good and so is the friendliness of the staff.

Basic room (just a room) Room is partially air conditioned due to non uniform air supply distribution. The fridge was not working properly. Unfortunately, The smoking is allowed in all public areas. No kids amenities. No shaded parking. Executive lounge food could be improved.

Great location and great value. The breakfast is superb and is far better than many Hilton properties in the U.S. and Europe. The majority of the staff is friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back and I highly recommend it, especially for families.

Nice hotel, inside the shopping mall of Green Plaza Friendly staff Good Food & beverage. Facilities : well equipped gym, relaxing spa and jacuzzi, Nice 2 swimming pools, one in open air and one heated indoor (works till 10 pm). Spacious well equipped rooms with iron table, desk & chair, coffee corner & of course the fridge and TV.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the room is always cleaned to the best standards ever , the breakfast was good as well as it's a buffet so there were many options

Had a nice vacation with my family in Hilton Green Plaza Hotel. I stayed in the hotel for four nights in B&B basis. The Hotel is strictly following COVID-19 precautions and rules. Room was clean, cozy and spacious. Hotel is literally on top of a shopping center, which is a good/bad thing according to your opinion, it was good for myself. The staff was very proficient and hospital.

Stay there for 14 nights .. A very good place Worth its money The hotel only one floor , but it's huge building it is horizontal with several lines like a huge spider net .. On the ground floor and the mezanen a lot of shops,café's , restorants and carrefour supermarket ..a very nice and coop. employees ,from the frontdesk to the restorants, housekerping, roomservice , operator ,, all of them actualy .. BUT .. with a big but the hotel need a huge renovation furniture bathroom needs a new decent stand shower a strong soundbroof for the windows ( as i mention it's only one floor upon café's and walk area ) .. It is not near the beach But it is in the 3rd finnest mall ( just behind the Stifano mall and city center mall )

As all of the hilton hotels this own is no different,the staff is helpful the facilities are amazing, clean and well maintained all the time. Also this hotel has one of the strangest designes i have ever seen, The whole hotel is located on a single floor which is the third floor over the famous green plaza mall. In my opinion this is a disadvantage of the hotel as it makes the walking distance big and sometimes it feels like a small maze. The quality of the location however is debatable as if you are staying for the sea it will be very far and I recommend the corniche hotel instead if you want the city it will be good.

Choose it for two reasons It's Hilton ( do not raise your expectations .. it is Hilton with Egyption criteria ) The second reason is because it is on a mall ( green plaza mall ) and in a 24/7 security .. Old need a lot of renovations .. One floor only covering all the spacious of the mall .. it is on the shops directly .. Great room space .. Great housekeeping Breakfast it is the same daily .. and kind of poor ( regarding Hilton brand ) Not near the city center or the the beach

Rude reception, hotel services well all right. My uber driver went extra length and helped out while reception is getting paid to help guests. Super annoying. The reviews for reception are correct. How is that possible in hotel like this and guy like this keeps his job.

Did not want to attach photos of the terrible room problems. Fungus on the bathroom door, dirty room floor. The staff are very unprofessional, no one cares about anything and almost rude. Very bad experience and will be reported to Hilton management. Does not worth the money.

I was there for a marriage party. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The place near the pool was nice and clean. BUT. They asked for additional service fees for 2 hour use of WiFi. Don't forget, that there is written everywhere that WiFi is FREE. Anyway, HILTON , 5 stars, really are you asking fees of WiFi????

Excellent location, right at the Green Plaza mall, and easy access to the city, which is known for its heavy traffic, specially in the summer months due to the large amount of tourism.

Super service. Staff is exceptionally good. Bassam at reception was always helpful. Rooms are tidy and clean. Comfortable beds, and cushions! Which is rare Spent two nights after my wedding and was worth it.

Liked the good location, staff and room service performance Disliked the food, parking and the hot drink bartender in breakfast buffet 😁 No medical gloves and touches the whole glass before serving🙄 I would not like that even if in regular life without Corona virus
