Beautiful place, must visit, full visit will take 45mins maximum. You could stay more and enjoy the art and pieces of treasures. Tickets for Egyptians cost 20LE . Not sure about tourists. There is discounts for students and people above the age of 60 and children.

Historical Landmark, the museum building is a masterpiece, the museum display is very distinctive, the exhibited pieces are more than wonderful, a collection of stationery equipment for King Farouk, also a collection of cigarette boxes for the king, chess made of gold and inlaid with diamonds, the interior decorations of the palace are amazing, wall decorations and painted paintings Ali Al-Asqof is very special. It is highly recommended to visit it. It reminded me of European museums in terms of museum presentations, consistency of colors, and splendor of the building.

I have always wanted to visit this place. It's not too big and everything has a description so you won't need a help or guide. I wasn't interested in jewelry as much as the windows, walls and ceiling. Everything is unique and I haven't seen them at any of the museums or palaces i visited. I was really amazed and I am sure you would love going there too.

Love this museum, it's a beautiful building which houses an impressive collection of 19th and 20th century jewelry from various royal and elite members of society. There's a lot of room for improvement, but this is one of my favorite places to visit in Alexandria.

Small but elegant place to exhibit collection of royal jewelries. Walls and ceiling are decorated with Renesas paintings. Entry fee is 30 LE for Egyptians. They give you plastic bags to cover your shoes. Nice place to visit.

Shows the elegant life of the Royals when they ruled Egypt. Felt like I'm in a fairly tale , wished that my family would have been with me we would have commented on every piece together , I'm sure the chess would have been a big convo starter. Love it A must see in Alexandria.

A beautiful musuem! Not too big not too small. The place is well kept with amazing displays and information. Royal jewelry, artifacts and painted ceilings. The castle was designed by the princess and the bathroom is a must see. I would definitely recommend this place. Entrance was 100egp per person - we visited on the 30th of January 2022.

Transports you into a different time a 100 years ago with the breathtaking architecture & attention to details, no wall, floor or roof is left plain! In addition to all the amazing details of the palace itself, the jewelries are such rare & exquisite items, you’ll be left in awe. The museum is well organized, you’ll be wearing protective covers over your shoes to protect the flooring, the staff will tell you all the instructions, there’s always a tour guide going around providing extra information & interesting anecdotes as you go!

One of the most valuable places in Alexandria and it has so many pictures and real jewelry from the royal era of Egypt. You'll have to wear some shoes cover before entering so you keep the floor clean and shiny. Every room has some jewelry and everyday use stuff like watches, desk tools, and hunting tools. You'll be surprised how the royal family lived their lives, and how can someone own this much jewelry. Although some of the jewelry were stolen and some are missing the stones, but it's still a place to enjoy.

I had high hopes when I went, thinking I would be treated to an incredible experience, but came away disappointed. The jewelry and other displayed items were lovely, unusual and historically significant, but the lighting and the display cases were not optimal for viewing or photography. More documentation could be provided with the displays, as well. The grounds outside the museum were not well-tended and the cafeteria was closed. The building itself is in good condition and parts are still being restored. A work in progress.

Probably the most elegant indoor design of a meseum in Alexandria. If you're looking for a place to please your eyes with so much beauty, this is the one. The place is air-conditioned with awesome lighting for the artifacts. Didn't have the chance to check the bathrooms, though. 20 EGP for Egyptians (visa mandatory) with 5 EGP for shoe covers on entrance (a tip for the worker).

Highly recommend you take the time to visit this beautiful palace museum. The jewelry is exquisite. Exhibits are spaced apart and with descriptions. Each room takes your breath away with floor to ceiling details, murals & wood carving. Amazing artisans that flocked to Egypt during this period. Difficult to not think of the enormous amount of wealth piled up by these royal families while the poor people on the streets barely survived. Some things never change. Couldn’t help but wonder if the artisans that designed the jewelry were compensated.

The palace is a masterpiece I loved it very much, I was fascinated from the first moment, the walls are wonderful. As for the royal family's jewelry and collectibles, it is another world. Overall, the visit was wonderful and I will definitely repeat it when I go to Alexandria again, and of course I highly recommend the visit

The ticket is fairly cheap and the place itself is amazing. I can understand why we can't use flash and that we have to wear plastic wrap on our shoes, but what I dont understand why we can't take videos but we can take normal photos????? Also the place doesn't have a working AC and almost no fans in the middle of most heated month of summer. The staff were very annoying, we weren't allowed to enter the garden! Whats the point of a museum if you're gonna make the experience bad? I've gone to many museums around Egypt but this is the only one what I'm very disappointed in.

Breath taking is an understatement The place is royal From the building exterior to every single detail everything is just art The ceilings are all drawn and colorful The rooms, each and everyone is a new experience The jewelry is something else, each piece is unique, every detail tells a story and every item doesn’t fail to surprise Definitely would recommend and revisit The entrance fee is just 20EGP snd the experience is definitely worth way more

مصر أيام الفخامة الملكية The Royal Jewelry Museum located in the neighborhood of Zizenia in Alexandria city. In fact, Royal Jewelry Museum Alexandria indeed is one of the largest Museums in Egypt. Moreover, it has a surface area of around 4185 meters .Royal Jewelry Museum Alexandria hosts the most valuable displays. They include the jewelry and the ornaments which queens and princesses of the last royal family of Egypt wore. Moreover, the building of Royal Jewelry Museum Alexandria itself is truly marvelous. In fact, it housed in the palace of Princess Fatema El Zahraa. It indeed is a rare piece of architectural art that constructed in the 19th century . Some of the displays of the museum date back to the period of Mohamed Ali Pasha. It was when became the Khedive of Egypt in 1805. He took control of the country making it independent from the Ottoman rule. Moreover, he established a dynasty that ruled Egypt for 147 years .The grandson of Mohamed Ali, Khedive Ismail wanted to make Egypt a part of the modernity of Europe. This is why Khedive Ismail added electric lamps to the street of Egypt. Khedive Ismail hired the most skillful Egyptian and foreign artists to create the golden jewelry of the royal family. He also did for the antiques that used to decorate their houses and palaces .In fact . Khedive Ismail ruled Egypt from 1863 till 1879 , Further details about Royal Jewelry Museum Alexandria : This is the main reason why most of the displays of the museum date back to his ruling period. After the Egyptian revolution of the year 1952, all the royal jewelry expropriated. They remained in the governmental stores for a long period of time .The committee which specified to establish the Royal Jewelry Museum Alexandria attracted to the Palace of Princess Fatema El Zahraa. Fatema was the daughter of Prince Haidar Fadel, the son of Prince Mustafa Fadel, the brother of Khedive Ismail. The palace of Princess Fatema El Zahraa constructed in the period between 1919 and 1923. This palace is considered to be a piece of European architectural art in itself. It built by French, Italian, and Belgium architects and artists. The palace erected following the school of Michael Angelo using the calm style of coloring and decorations. The Palace of Fatema Al Zahraa constructed over a surface area of 4185 square meters. The palace consists of two large suits. The Eastern Suite has two halls and a gallery. The gallery with a bronze statue of a boy in the center of it. The walls of this suit have rich colored windows decorations all over it. The Western Suit consists of two floors. Each has four large halls with three bathrooms. Bathrooms coated with decorative colored ceramics. An elegant foyer connects between the two suits of the palace. It featured with ten glass frames in the shape of ten doors with drawings. They represent European historical scenes and legendary stories like Romeo and Juliet .

The place is just like being in a fairytale! The Royal Jewelry Palace tells the unspoken magnificent story of one of Egypt's historical chapters. We had wonderful time navigating through the Palace's lavishly decorated Halls and Chambers. The Museum is well maintained. Security and staff were very nice and friendly. We didn't have the chance to see Princess Fatima Haider (the owner's) painted picture as it was in one of the Chambers closed for maintenance.

A Museum which houses antique jewelries belonging to the ancient Royal family of Muhammed Ali Pasha, who ruled Egypt 1805 A.D. up to 1953. The Royal Palace (turned museum) has an ancient Arabian architectural design with nice structures.

A small but lovely place. You get to see the unique rooms with art-decorated walls, halls and roofs. Even the bathroom belonging to the princess was a piece of art. Not to mention the many spectacular jewelry and belongings of the late royal family that ruled egypt. Does not take too much time to go through the 2-story building. Definitely recommend going early at opening time if you want to take photos before it gets crowded.

The palace is gorgeous. What's more stunning than the jewels is the interior design of every room. The amount of detail and art is astounding. ❤️❤️❤️ The most impressive is the bathroom. Definitely a must visit but during cooler weather because the heat was suffocating and there is no AC.

The 99-years old palace houses part of the royal Jewelry collection of the former royal house of the Mohammed Ali Dynasty. Many necklaces, bracelets, tiaras, earrings of diamonds and precious stones are on show. It is a must visit for any tourist or visitor to Alexandria. The palace itself is a beautiful structure built on Italian style.

(Translated by Google) It is called the "Palace of Jewelry" due to its presence in the building that was the palace of one of the princesses of the royal upper family The Royal Jewelry Museum is located in the Fatima Zahra Palace building in Gleem .. This palace was founded by Zainab Hanim Fahmy in 1919 CE and completed its construction and resided in it by her daughter Princess Fatima al-Zahraa in 1923 CE. This palace (the Royal Jewelry Museum) was built on the architectural style of European buildings .. It consists of two wings, east and west, linked by a transverse corridor, and each of the eastern wing and the western wing consists of two floors and a basement, and the building is surrounded by a garden full of plants, flowers and ornamental trees. The museum includes 11 thousand and 500 pieces belonging to the members of the royal family .. The palace has been divided into ten halls that include collections of antiques and jewelry belonging to the members of the family of Muhammad Ali .. This museum is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Alexandria as it includes a rare and wonderful collection of antiques, jewelry and jewelry And goldsmiths, precious stones, watches encrusted with jewels and diamonds. As for the Arab pavilion, it consists of two floors, the first has four halls and the second is four, and it connects the two wings of the palace with a very beautiful hall. It is also rich in artistic paintings representing ten doors of colored glass and adorned with story drawings of European-style historical scenes and mythical stories such as Romeo and Juliet, in addition to mural paintings. Represents the marriage of her mansion. The windows of the palace were decorated with paintings of stained glass and their floors were covered with balsandy, rose and turkish wood. There is a section dedicated to the gifts presented to King Farouk, including a tea set of gold gifted by a group of Pashawat of Farouk and Farida on their wedding day and signed their names behind the Chinese, as well as a dish of special agate gifted to him by Tsar Russia. To distinguish the Farouk collection, it has three halls allocated for it in the museum. Perhaps the first thing that is noticeable is the Princess Hall of Shweikar crown, which is one of the largest and most beautiful crowns of the Muhammad Ali family jewelry, while the Queen Farida Hall comes in second place after the hall of her husband, King Farouk. Inlaid after 136 diamonds, plus a fabulous selection of earrings set with diamonds, rubies, peridot, emeralds and a full set of coral. As for the collection of Princess Fawzia, the sister of King Farouk, it includes a platinum ring bearing the name of Princess Fawzia, studded with pearls, and a belt fork studded with more than 240 pieces of diamonds. This museum also includes other exhibits, including a royal watch set with diamonds and a masterpiece in the form of an elephant made of ivory inlaid with diamonds and rubies.
