The park is wonderful, it needs some interest!

Nice place. Free but some areas are occupied by the Greek archeology mission. I hope this brings more value to the place and their presence keeps the whole park cleaner. Nights sometimes are load due to high volume music from the wedding place there.

One of the historic places in Alexandria, ot suffers from ignorance for long time. After the city council lunched the refabreshmen of the old famous places, it was the first on the list and now it's a nice place for relaxing with a quite good looking scenes. It has a little lake and some local restaurants. The trees in this place are enourmace and it give you a great feeling. It located near to elsaa square ( the clock ) which was a citycenter in alexandria once but now it's not.

The main and among the few remaining public parks in Alexandria. Its not so clean but its ok. It contains some really old trees and rare ones as well. If you are a tree lover u might like this park. There's a small pond within the park. And also there's a place to have your coffee in front of the pond. It as well has some monuments and historic areas along with some modern statues. P. S: it's not recommended to visit this place at night. It might be dangerous.

A little more of improving, and it will be awesome.

This place was a shock for us😑 we lost one day from our trip going to this place because of the pictures here😑There is no waterfall..no lakes..no green gardens as the pics😑 It was as a deserted place with dry trees and herbs😑The guard told us that the waterfall was dry long long long long long years ago😶It was a nightmare 😮‍💨 I don't recommend it at all.. and those who are writing good comments and rating with high rates and even sharing fake pics that show a wonderful waterfall and clean green garden, plz don't do this.. you are wasting others' time and ruining their trip 😒

The place is very nice and very green. Its space is good and comfortable. The place is located in Bab Sharq area. There is a small lake in the place with many birds. And some nice green tops for a walk and a smell of clean air. The place is located near the National Museum. I wish it was cleaner, more safe for children and more lights installed everywhere. But as the only public park in this neighborhood, which is easy to reach for everyone, besides it's free entry; I love to go there. For many years it's been a favorite place. I mean by safe for children, fixing the ground and make it a bit not bumpy, to avoid injury while playing. Being a free entry park, is a great advantage. On the other hand, you can find beverages with handy prices.. not sure about food. Best time to go is in the afternoon/evening. It might not suit all tastes, for those who like malls and extravagant places, it might not your place to be. I love it.

The park in and of itself is good, but it needs a lot of renovation and plantation addition, and now it's a haven for bums and idlers.

Dusty and full of rubbish. Was told that the kids playground is closed, but then they let some local children in, but not us, why is that? Cafe is closed too. Needs a lot of work

One of the best classic gardens in the middle east, it is an old place and not well maintained, once the lake had swans and at the end it has a lovely water fall, lots of huge trees it has some of the biggest trees in the region, the park is free to enter also it has a part of Alexandria's walls.

One of Alexandria's landmarks. It is one of the few open parks still available in Alexandria with a nice green part and pond that is rarely filled with water. It is a good place for photo shooting. There is also a wedding hall inside the park but not a fancy one. It is a good place for relaxing and a good walk during the day. Try not to walk there alone or at night. There is a part of the old wall of the city which is nice to to see something that old. All in all the park needs good care and have to work on cleanliness and safety. Update : I found that there is a cafe in the park, it is cheap and acceptable nothing fancy , but you might need it if you want to rest while inside the park.

If you are into gardens and nature, it's the right place. it's free and can take some beautiful pictures there. However you may get dirt on you and not the cleaner place you can go.
