One
of
several
restaurants
off
the
park,
at
the
start
of
the
River
Pader.
Pretty
location
with
tables
spilling
onto
the
green.
Despite
it
being
a
Monday,
almost
every
table
was
taken.
The
rush
resulted
in
a
45
wait
for
the
starter
and
another
30
minutes
for
the
main
course.
When
asked
the
staff
said,
‘it
had
been
crazy.’
Not
sure
if
the
delay
was
typical.
It
slightly
spoilt
what
was
otherwise
a
fantastic
meal.
The
Grand
Variation
presented
a
selection
of
starters
and
was
enough
for
3.
The
pork
medallions
were
beautifully
cooked
and
came
with
pureed
potato
and
sliced
carrots.
It
was
too
late
for
afters;
a
shame
they
would
no
doubt
have
been
good.
Attentive,
friendly
staff.
With
a
half
litre
of
good
wine
and
tip,
the
bill
for
one
was
€40.
Another
very
good
restaurant
in
Paderborn,
with
a
tranquil
setting.
