We were staying at a hotel up the street, and was looking for a walkable place to eat when we saw this Italian eatery. It is a small mom & pop (?) place, where you order at the counter, go sit and they bring your food to you, type place. Not only was the customer service great, but what we had to eat was outstanding!! I had the Linguine & clams…👍🏻👍🏻 My wife had the chicken parmigiana sandwich 👍🏻👍🏻 And our 2 vegetarian friends, had a pizza and eggplant parm sandwich 👍🏻👍🏻 They do have limited beer and wine, plus sparkling water. We will definitely be back next time we are staying in this area!

Amazing service and food! Mark was our waiter he was new but that didn’t stop him from helping us he was friendly and welcoming. Moe (the owners daughter? jumped in to help answer my questions and gave me some recommendations for my restrictions. PIZZA 🍕 was amazing and the different sizes help you choose for any activity. My wife loved the calamari was better that any place around. We will definitely be returning.

Food absolutely amazing, despite it being on the side of the road, the food tasted great, servers were nice and thoughtful and the atmosphere felt like I was in a small backyard in Italy. 10/10

Stopped by for dinner with friends of mine. The pizza was delicious! I ordered fried calimari and the minestrone soup as appetizers. The outside seating was lovely. The restaurant's location was very nice and our waitress was very kind and helpful. Would definitely come back again!

CAN NOT say enough good things about this place. Our go-to low key neighborhood Italian spot. NEVER disappoints! The whole menu is authentically amazing, but my heart is all about the Tuscan salad (with shrimp). When food and service is like family, you can’t lose.

Growing up in alhambra it's the place to be.....nice and cozy it's our favorite place to dine....Mr. and Mrs. Chef are the best ....friendly and welcoming......and the girls always nice and friendly in and out of GENEVESES.....not to mention kitchen staff.....good job guys.....My favorite thing to order is.....well anything on the menu....I just say surprise ME.....try it it's awsome..... louie....SOLOE ELECTRIC

Great food at great prices. Available parking is limited. At times the speed of service can be slow depending on how busy it gets so give yourself plenty of time to sit back and enjoy. The dining room is very tiny but there is also outdoor seating. Inside there are 3 tables for four, and 3 tables for 2. They also offer the SuperSize, XXXLarge 24" pizza for your parties. Two Thumbs UP!

Cozy restaurant, loved the outdoor seating but on a hot day decided to eat inside with AC. My meal (Penne Vodka) with chicken also included side salad (large portion for a side salad 👍) and the best garlic bread. Pasta was amazing, portion was large enough to take half home. Service was friendly and professional, very clean restaurant, will definitely be back.

I moved here from east coast and I spend awhile trying to find the same style pizza just like back home and today, I finally found my new pizza spot!!! Genovese is delicious and customer service was fantastic as well!!! Will be coming back again!!! Hats off to the chef for making a great pizza pie!!!

I've been going to Genoveses for 21 years. My wife & i have gone there on our first date. Every year afterwards we've been going every year on our anniversary. Every time we're gone there the freindly service, atmosphere & the food has been excellent. I really recommend Genoveses for a date or dinner. I'm really proud to say this place is the best. This little place is definitely a gem for some Pizza and other Italian food. The environment was also very comfy and the dude working there was very attentive and made sure we had a good time.

Love the vodka penne and garlic bread especially here! Lovely ambiance, great prices. A great gem of Alhambra that has been there since 1980. I love to support small businesses like these that have stood the test of time.

Cute Italian eatery in Alhambra. The pizza is not my favorite (it has a thin crust), but the pastas and salads are delicious. The main seating area is outside. Definitely enough space to maneuver a wheelchair or walker if you use one. If you have a large party make sure to call ahead because there’s only one large table. There is parking in the back.

Horrible customer service. They answer phone and place you on hold and you hear them having personal conversations. I was on hold for about 6 minutes and I got tired of waiting and listening to their gossip so I hung up and ordered from Charlie's Trio.

This place is sooo yummy and cozy! I love ordering pizza and chicken wings and relaxing after a long day at work. The perfect spot.

Genovese's is a very modest restaurant, without any fancy frills, but it has wonderful Southern Italian food. The service is friendly and helpful. You should note that most of the seating is outside in a well-covered patio.

I like this family style and there are not many commercial restaurants. The pasta tastes good and the staff is very good! The decoration is very warm! A great place to chat with friends

This place is awesome its just a nice place to hang out and eat some AMAZING pizza. I always used to come here when I was a kid.

I went by this place so many times without thinking about it. My friend wanted lasagna and this place came up on the search. They were out of lasagna by the time we got here,but we were not disappointed. He had the Italian sausage sandwich and I had the chicken parm. It was delicious and the service was just amazing.
