Beautiful park with some great views. Ot has a jogging, walking and cycling tracks. Lots of trees, benches and even restrooms are also there. Smoking is prohibited inside the park. It is very good place for out door shooting.

Happened to run on Kachnar Park's track and it's one of the best in Islamabad. Thick with trees, dimly-lit, spanning a circumference of 3KM, and not m - ideal for runs and walks.

Ideal place for nature lovers, but i wish they could do something to reduce the noice of vehicles plying on Islamabad expressway and make this place more quieter. Adequate parking spaces are provided. There are many benches here and exercise space also. Lot of trees of different types are planted here. Many tracks are present for walking or jogging or cycling. Squirrels can also be spotted climbing trees. They should install more garbage bins.

Perfect place for a jog/run/walk. Kachnar Park has a roughly 2 kilometer long track sidelined with trees that give you fresh air to breathe. It is situated along the Islamabad Expressway in Sector I-8. Many new sculptures (like the aiming Knight with a bow and arrow) are being added to the park as of April 2022 to enhance it's beauty.

It has downside that it is near Islamabad Expressway due to which you can hear significant traffic noise and you can’t visit the park at night because it’s prohibited due to security reasons.

Not among the bigger parks in Islamabad, Kachnar Park is still a nice and well maintained and family friendly park. It has ample parking and a masjid right next to it. It is easy to get to from most parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi

This has an 2.2 Kms jogging & walking track alongside the Islamabad Express Highway, where you would see people walking, jogging, and few toddlers cycling about the serene landscape. You would also find Yoga sessions on Sundays, and Clean drives for garbage collection from the park by large volunteering groups. I think the park is lovely butmpre importantly the neighboring public takes ownership of the park more than authorities which is the main contributor to the parks upkeep.

I like the length of it's track, however I don't like it's slow and gradual conceretisation. A better option would be to provide facilities and services through natural elements. Secondly the track needs to be evenly provided by fine gravel. At places it's completely absent. The presence of stray dogs is a potential threat to the life and safety of joggers.

Good park for jogging and running but a lot of room for Improvement is there. Special attention for its cleaning required. Not sure about availability of any restrooms. If not, these needs to be construed.

Perfectly maintained park thanks to the babas of i8/3. I lived in street 77 and it was always amazing to have such a well maintained park at a 2 mins walk. Not recommended for dogs. Almost no lights after sunset. Other than that, ideal place for a run.
