Four stars for the Beach, which is just beside the Rooms ( 2mins walking). Beach seems private as you ll see any public at this side . Rooms were ok. Food was ok. Staffs were also ok. For brkfst, you will have very limited option. Overall recommended. Enjoy the beach. Peaceful

Rooms are well maintained. Spacious. Good for family and friends to enjoy/ spend their vacation. 6 cottages are available. With one balcony each. Big open space available for get to gather / marriage function etc.

As usual it is at the best location in Gopalpur. The adjacent beach is calm quiet and beautiful. The garden is well maintained and the rooms are good. But I found some lack regarding maintenance of the overall property, which is huge in area. The behaviour and hospitality of the staffs will definitely win your heart. Food quality of the kichen is hygienic and lip licking.

The Panthanivas is very good with friendly staff members. The private beach is not suitable for the small kids for safety reason. It is located away from the main road. No Auto Or vehicles are available near the Panthanivas, however the staff members arrange auto/taxi on request if guest.

The property location is premium but rooms are stinky , sloppy with no maintenance at all . It's sad to see what example we Odia people are setting for tourists visiting from other parts of country. If you enter the rooms you would feel it's a B grade cheap hotel . Seepage in every corner of the room, dirty rooms with musty odour , broken ACs , cobwebs in attics and dust on every surface. One will fall sick spending one night in these rooms. Doesn't anyone inspect these properties and their living/hygiene/service standards for feedback and improvement? I am sure govt must be sanctioning massive budget for maintenance to tourism sector. Hope these reviews make some difference

Rooms are now old and not maintained. But very spacious cottage. Government property attitude is always like this. First of all , staff are not interested to serve you. Many government officials are disturbing the whole place and it's atmosphere. Repeated marriage functions will ruin your privacy and silence. No private beach but a way is there to reach upto beach. That is the good part. Food is cheap. But not so tasty. Overall budget oriented

Magnificent location just in-front of sea beach amazing stay food quality is nice . Room and food prices are decent Though personally i would recommend to stay at hotel rooms which were priced around 1500 rather than staying at cottage Overall a good package at this price and location.

The rooms are not maintained and are dark and shabby. The staff is helpful but the food in the restaurant is awful. When we complained about very less salt in food , they started giving Gyan about the health benefits of eating food with almost no salt in it.

We had a great stay at the OTDC Panthanivas, Gopalpur on sea. We booked a cottage for three of us and it was a very rustic model with a vintage charm. Seashore was about 2 minutes from here and being on a secluded location, this place offered a tranquility and serenity which I really enjoyed. Will surely visit again.

One of the best property to stay in close vicinity of Gopalpur sea beach. Restaurant facility available. Management staffs can arrange car for site seeing. Due to covid pandemic group tours are no longer available. It would be the best property in Gopalpur if it was a bit well maintained.

Rooms are old, not maintained properly. Toilet stinks. Staff behavior is not comparable to what you'll get in a private hotel. Food quality is very good. Located alongside beach, but you can't see sea beach from rooms. There is private road from hotel that leads to sea beach, 2 mins walk.

Stayed twice in quick successions in Cottage. Huge room area, separate drawing cum dining hall, separate bathroom as well as grooming room, big lawn. You can spend enough time in the cottage itselt. Also, ample parking space

Rooms are in bad shape, seepage in walls, lots of mosquitoes inside the rooms. Needs repair/renovation. However, staff are well behaved and cooperative. Direct access to the sea beach. Very peaceful environment.

Old hotel, we stayed at cottage, very nice maintained garden, helpful staff for arranging sight seeing, food for babies, Cottage have huge space, its a bit far from main Gopalpur beach, auto take 80 rupees, however, you can walk from the hotel beach to main beach 15-20 min walk.Very nice stay.

This experience was from our last visit to Gopalpur panthanivas a week ago with my family. Although the location of our stay was beyond our imagination. We booked 4 rooms over there out of which 1 was in really bad condition, the wallpaper is falling from the wall, all the blankets in every room was smelling as a result we had to use our own bedsheets. The quality of the food is so bad, even they have served us previously stored Chicken, one of the staff told us that the chicken is stored a week ago 😭. Although the location and the weather kept us calm 😍😍🫣

Had great experience at Gopalpur OTDC Panthanivas. The staff were very cordial and helpful. Had a nice check in experience and overall stay. Room was clean and pleasant. The location of the Panthanivas is next to sea beach with beautiful view. There was enough parking space for cars. There is a in house restaurant and staff suggested really nice restaurants near by the beach which was really amazing. Overall a really nice stay and would definitely stay again during our next trip.

Well kept property. Cottages are amazing for the price you pay. Food quality is good by Gopalpur standard. Guests should be more careful. Saw diapers all around the backside of the property

PanthaNivas is an OTDC property and the rates of rooms and cottages are definitely economical. Please do not expect anything lavish however to me the overall services are just OK as I checked in during night and checked out after breakfast. I have seen corporate people also staying which is nice

Please don't ever ever go hear. Absolutely disgusting hospitality. No maintenance at all. No access for old people to go to the beach because there is a sharp slope just outside the gate and it is impossible for old people to get down from there. The food also is absolutely yuck!

The place has been allowed to degenerate into a ill-kept dilapidated resort. Food is simple like home-made. Despite very poor maintenance, the very low cost and locale makes it a wonderful low-cost destination. One night stay for 6 if us (2 Deluxe rooms and a big cottage cost us only Rs. 10,000 and this included a lunch and dinner) 2 great beaches, Gopalpur and Sunapur are close by for a good weekend. Sunapur is only about 45 min away. Govt. Should give it on lease to some private player.

Best location. Poorly maintained property. Dirty doors, rusted bathroom fittings. Though staff is polite, they are not professional. High time OTDC is divested.

By the looks of it OTDC panthanivas isn't the best but the rooms are very good. The beach is very good for family functions. Service is also good. The only drawback is its distance from the main road.

Cottages are well maintained but the campus is not clean. Used bottles, polythene bags are thrown here and there. No attempt is being taken to clean. Dogs are also moving around the cottages

They have newly built this one, it looks really good for now but problem is with lesser staff and not proper lights available around all the areas I felt it's not so safe. Not just for girls but any visitors. Moreover the timings are not visiting friendly, I don't think the reason could be government restrictions for COVID because the beach near the lighthouse is open till 10 PM while PanthNivas is open only till 6:30PM. I see they charge 30/- for parking and just to visit I am like seriously and how they are investing the same money. No proper lights, not friendly for elder people, not at all convenient for the physically disabled. Was the plan to made for just young crowds who go couplings in dark places to create the dark memories??? 😀😀😀😀😀😀 Or was it for young drunk fellows who can easily enjoy the sea view and enjoy the drinks in open and public place like this. I am sure government should know how the money should be invested wisely and how the people should avail the best out of it. I think Odisha government is Dumb as usual 😉😉😉😉. Only best thing is I liked the idea behind to plan and develop this way and make the place look better than before/nothing. I must say this should be appreciated.

Shabby rooms (I heard the cottages are better there). The blankets were dirty, and the linen had stains. The food was not very tasty, but edible. The service was kinda ok but the staff were unkempt, untidy wearing dirty uniform and unprofessional, although decently behaved.

The place is good. Has a gateway for beach. The problem is it is not maintained in that way as it should have been. Service is good. 3.5 stars for it

Exceptional place to stay both in terms of location and food. We've both stayed on Gopalpur and Rambha and all of them were just beautiful. Open space under the starry sky was unforgettable.

1. Rooms in the cottage are big but old and poorly maintained 2. Quality of service is also not satisfactory 3. To reach sea beach proper, one has to walk almost 20mins....Autorickshaw charges 80-100 rupees to reach there if at all available.

Situated close to the sea beach. Rooms are spacious but little bit more care needed. Prices are little bit higher than usual. Food quality was quick service has to be improved. OTDC need to monitor Pantha Nivas for more improvement so that customers will visit again.

Location is good. Food and room are good, too. However, there are lot of stray dogs who make sleeping too difficult. Also, as of now the area is only developing; fooding and transportation options are very limited. Sea is hardly visible from the property but the walk to the sea is beautiful.

Good place for staying at gopalpur. Sea beach is straight 200 mt away. Walk through the Jhau trees. Food quality is good. Service and room is also good. Main beach is 500 mt away.

Great place to stay in Gopalpur with family amidst lovely garden,beach and lovely staff ..food is great here ...staff who maintains this property are the most humble staff we ever met... During This Diwali they brought fire crackers for guests,we enjoyed a lot celebrating diwali together....we stayed in cottages,these are huge with big bed room and living room and spotless clean... this is a place for those who want to stay a little away from crowded main beach and enjoy solitude...the staff of this place made our holiday most memorable one with their attitude...

Otdc is a bit costly about food.but the stay is ok.rge window axis 2orking fine but the room needs to be clean more .otherwise the room is ok.but the balcony is badly need a renovation.because the balcony has no safety,no window glases and also the balcony door is fully destroyed.otherwise the room is bit ok to stay.

go for cottages ...its quite large ...and will give a soothing view...though they have private access to beach..but u cant see the beach from otdc...and mainly their service is too good...u can rely on this

Location is very good. We took cottage suites which are HUGE. However cleanliness is an issue and service quality is not up to the mark. The food quality at the restaurant is a strong avoid. However the location is just close to the beach and is a very favourite spot for destination weddings. Overall staff culture is very lax which is perhaps due to location not being a high priority for state bureaucracy and politicians.
