Place is very calm and relaxing... every visit brings new and exciting view with amazing weather

very poor, garbage like the shore of Rawal Dam/Lake. There is no cleanliness and there is no sitting arrangment, no sheds, no canopies, just a barren and raw stone corners of the rawal dam. Perhaps, there is one great attraction to appreciate is the Launch available there to entertain not only for family and individuals, but also they are hosting birthday and other parties on their launch with a capacity of 15 to 20 persons per time (approximately) my rough guess. Recently they are charging Rs.1000 for a small round and trip of around 15 minutes to 20 minutes. (approximately)

You are Not secure from bad people, Not suitable for respectable couples, No proper maintenance system and staff, But Still love it Bcz If you are lucky, its extremely relaxing and calming place, U can meet yourself and talk with yourself, Air and water play a sweet soothing sound that makes light... If u go there with a positive intention, you can make yourself relax, light and loveable. Beautiful and private place to weep, to relax...

Quiet place but no proper arrangement to have a picnic. Crowded as well.

Cool and calm place to enjoy nature. Scenic place, just don't litter if someone visits, park is already littered and does not have a proper administration. Place is calm and has no such facilities one expects from a proper park. It brings exciting views with changing weather. Best place to talk to yourself, to weep, and to relax.

It is a good place in Islamabad but highly neglected. Good for family outing but unfortunately no facilities. Not a proper car parking. No life jackets, no life guards. Private boats are there but at the mercy of Almighty. If it could've been given due care, it would turned into an excellent recreational place.

If u want to get the joy of nature u should visit this place it is amazing specially in summers you can have this beautiful view

Nice getaway place, lovely views of the city scape. They should have some nearby shops to make this place more lively. Park at your own risk. CDA should.clean the area to make this place nicer

Good place for outing and fishing

An isolated and calm place for daytime enjoyment with friends and family. Boat and horse riding are available. There is a walking and jogging track as well. Not very nicely maintained but tolerable.

It could be a better picnic place but right now there is no proper entrance for car and there is too much litter around

Place is very beautiful and relaxing. People have polluted this area so much. Plastic bags and wrappers can be seen everywhere. I don't understand why can't people keep public spaces clean.

Good family picnic spot, specially for BBQ cooking

Average spot for a picnic with your family or friends. A very small park that isn't well maintained. The view of the lake is the only plus point. I saw a group of people fishing in the lake with their fishing rods, but you'll have to bring your gear.

No shops available

You love fishing 🎣 go there, few boats and a ferry is a good new addition, the owner is friendly and the feery is good.

If government pays attention it can become a great tourism spot. Proper cleaning of lake, state of the art ships and boats, clean and green entry and exit points, ticket house and renovation of place can generate revenue.
