There are no long queues to get in and is situated in Daraganj which is also one of the oldest communities of India. There is a Mishthan store of Prashad and Samosas. Teh priests are very respectful and everyone is allowed in the premises. I advise to be respectful to the norms and values when visiting. The deity is also called Nagar Devta , i.e., the Lord of the City.

It is the main Madhav temple of Prayag out of 12 madhavs. Brahma did yagya here. It is also taposthali of Maharshi Onkar dev giri, who stayed on asan of nails to get spiritual powers.

Veni madhav Mandir is on the road itself, only auto, ricksaw will go there. There is no parking available. It's an important temple to visit in Allahabad. You will find a shiv temple opposite to this temple. You can buy flowers, coconut for the Lord, it's available in front of the temple. Varieties of small dresses to decorate Lord is also available in front of the temple.

Madhav Sakal Kaam Sadho Madhav ji is called Nagar Devta of Prayagraj so if you are coming to this city you should come to this temple. Maa Gangaji is approx 300mtr at front of this temple, you should visit there also. If you are coming by a car you should park your car near by Daraganj Kotwali because temple road is narrow and you can face a jam. Jai Ho Madhav
