Cedar Creek is a wonderful City of Allentown park featuring the Rose Garden, sculptures, active playgrounds, a swimming pool, pavilions and picnic tables, volleyball and basketball courts, and extensive paved trail loops with exercise stations. Cedar Creek runs through the middle of the park and flows into and out of Muhlenberg Lake where it continues to the Little Lehigh River just above the Lehigh River confluence.

Great place to come and think or even study if you are a student from a near by campus. Also to spend time with your partner to enjoy the view. Many benches to choose from or grass if you prefer that. Everytime I'm there I'm thankful that our city has so many parks to choose from. Hopefully you will enjoy as I do.

Beautiful and spacious park with a neat pond and a jogging trail around it in the center. Seems to be a popular spot for photo shoots, there were several people taking photos at sunset. Easy street parking.

The Allentown Rose Garden is a locally famous park. Many photographers from all over the area come here to do different images. The park has a very nice walk path, plenty of little lake type of areas, concrete art structures and in the summertime beautiful full grown trees and roses. If you’re ever in the area you should definitely make sure this is on your list to come visit, either in the summertime spring fall or even in winter it’s very beautiful as well.

Allentown Rose Gardens, Allentown PA - As Ministers/ Wedding Officiants at Kimberlys Blessings, we have celebrated Many weddings at this lovely place. We have found the grounds to be beautiful, with very nice, older stone Gazebos. +The Gardens are seasonally more colorful in Spring and Summer, but also very popular on Weekends. + It is first come/ first serve to use the Gazebo and walkways for your Ceremonies/ Celebrations, so keep that in mind. (On a busy weekend there might be 3 or 4 Ceremonies taking place, each day.) Sometimes you may have to wait, for the previous group to finish. Highly recommended. The beauty of all the roses in bloom, is spectacular! Let us know if you have any questions about Your wedding and this Memorable place for Weddings or Elopements, or if we can be of further assistance.

Wonderfully maintained little garden. Other varieties of perennial and annual flowers that they add in. Walking paths are nice and extensive! Also a nice creek and and some ponds and you can easily walk over to cedar crest Park with a decent sized pond/lake to loop around. Exercise trails and paths as well that are well laid out.

Visited in early September so late for roses. Surprised that so many were still in bloom. Rose garden itself is small but is nestled in lovely large park. A few steps from the roses there are some plantings of other beautiful flowers. My hubby is recovering from hip surgery and the rose garden was the perfect size for a leisurely walk for him. Beautifully maintained with sidewalks leading the rest of the park.

I specifically picked this town for a weekend get away for visiting the “Allentown Rose Garden”. Pictures do this place no justice. You must go and see it yourself. The aroma of the roses and nature is just so refreshing. Magical experience, I loved every second of it. I walked, read, toll pictures and videos here and took it all in. Exactly what I wanted experience and more…

This place is beautiful! There is a nice walking path/jogging path . My husband and I both had a great time. I would give this a five star if the bathrooms were cleaner.

Wonderful park to walk. Only problem is people not cleaning up after themselves. Watched a birthday party for a 2 year old leave trash everywhere. Very sad.

a lovely, well-maintained park. Although there are frequently a lot of people taking pictures nearby, don't let that deter you from relaxing and watching the ducks! Also close is a fantastic kids' park.

I love the Rose Garden! It’s even more beautiful when you can catch the roses 🌹 in bloom. So peaceful and serene, you can walk, read, or take pictures.

Excellent park for quiet relaxation. Many varieties of roses, nice pond and a long trail. Decent places to eat nearby. Plenty of benches to enjoy nature. There were many exercise machines along the trail. A unique feature. It was a nice break on drive from DC to NJ.

A great family walk spot! Loads of things to interest little ones. The beautiful rose garden is full of color in the summer months. The water fixtures are beautiful and run alongside wide walkways that make social distancing easier. Know before you go: dogs are not permitted in the rose garden, but may walk along other areas of the park.

Not actually bad, roses were not in bloom so it wasn't so much of a rose garden. Not really quiet and serene but in all ,it's a beautiful place. The sculptures and the stream add this touch to the place. Its a nice place for family get togethers and picnics ,not bad though.
