New favorite neighborhood bar. They have amazing beers, scotch eggs and MAC AND CHEESE BITTERBALLEN!!!! The service is amazing, the staff is friendly, the outside is very pet friendly and the beer is perfectly cold. New beloved spot.

It's rare in Amsterdam to have this level of welcome and service. Was in for a surprise birthday and the rugby was on. Guinness is great and Liam was man of the match. Highly attentive and just a sound lad. Didn't get the name of the other guy working but he was great too. I honestly can't recommend here enough

Great spot to spend a cozy evening. Sports on the tv, great selection of British beer and Guiness on tap. The Sunday roast is a must try, especially as an Englishman abroad.

Went yesterday & had a glorious time. New fave bar. The people behind the bar are delightful, customer service is of a level rarely found in Amsterdam, the roasts are utterly delicious, the snacks I will be trying next time (cheese n mac bitterballen!), the atmosphere is very friendly & they've really achieved something special here. Could not ask for more! An excellent bar & hope all their dreams come true!

Already well known (though not for long) bar that does bangin' roasts on select Sundays. Need to look up their schedule and reserve on the website. Booked this 3 months in advance! We came in for Porkchetta Roast weekend and it was very good. Generous portions, with all the trimmings and the Porkchetta (my first) was good. I will need to come back for another, different roast next time. It took a bit of time to come out but with the amount of people there and the size of their kitchen I'm not surprised. Nonetheless, it's a worth while trip if you are looking to get s taste of the UK. Sports was on and pints of Guinness were flowing. Again, will be coming back.

It's a great independent neighborhood bar which plays all the football and rugby! Super welcoming atmosphere and great scotch eggs. Decent for a pub quiz. Not had the Sunday roast, but heard good things and will check it now

What an epic Christmas roast! Dave and Liam really know what they’re doing in that kitchen. Everything was amazing - special shout-out to the turkey with moorish stuffing, the pigs in blanket and the honey-mustard roasted parsnips. Also - best place to get a nice Guinness on-tap. Highly recommend to anyone that needs a little slice of the UK in Amsterdam!

Scotch eggs better than most places back home. Great staff. Monster Munch is an inspired choice. I could take a couple more stereotypical English IPAs like a Beavertown or two.

My new fave 'local', even though I live in Utrecht. I'd return just for the runny Scotch eggs, the banter with the regulars and the delightful staff. But I'll mostly be back for the famed Sunday lunch. Order extra potatoes please, we'll be seeing you soon!

Excellent Sunday roast, great staff, good selection of drinks. The desserts were absolutely delicious (especially the sticky toffee pudding), some of my fave I had in Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend to finish off with a dessert if you have a sweet tooth!

Thank you for having us! The chicken Sunday roast was very tasty, I'd certainly go back however will hope for slightly more on my plate. For 23 euro it could do with being a bit bigger in my opinion, but it really was very good and the service was nice

Fast getting a reputation for the best Guinness in Amsterdam. The owners clearly care about quality and believe in what they are creating at Bar Brother - and it really shows. Great staff, great Guinness, great food (among other things they have proper bar snacks, and a bloody fantastic Sunday roast) , great atmosphere, great music, great sport, I could go on. Keep it up guys!

We visited this very friendly bar whilst spending a few days in Amsterdam and received a warm welcome. After having a drink we noticed that several hot snacks were available and decided to try some! The pasties were absolutely delicious, as were the scotch eggs served with home made piccalilli! My wife loved the Mac and cheese bites! There was such a great atmosphere that we booked for Sunday lunch and this was also amazing with everything being homemade and freshly prepared!

Great bar - old location was great and the new one is even better. Superb beers, awesome snacks, great array of sports to watch, exceptionally friendly guys who run the place. I need to come back and try the Sunday roast because I’ve heard it’s great! Will certainly be back…a lot of times!

A little slice of home in the heart of Amsterdam! The owners Liam & Dave are great, and the service & food is 10/10! If you haven't tried their Sunday roast yet, you're missing out!

Great neighborhood. The local street cats carry switchblades, though. Great staff, very on it. Dog friendly, free biscuits for dogs that inquire. Good selection of sudsy beverages. Staple selection of foods for herbivores and omnivores alike. I hear their Sunday roast are legit, but alas haven't had time to book one in. The 'joke of the moment' could be saucier, but no one's perfect.
