This Thai restaurant is located in the heart center of the city next to Rembrandt. The place is super big, a bit dark inside and kind of not reflecting the Asian culture, but still nicely decorated. Service was super well and they always come to help you and ask if you need anything. Their menu is huge so it would be intimidating to pick from the options without knowing what they are. Portions are super big and very good value for money. The tastes vary between fair, good and super. With the usual Thai cuisine dishes.

I have dined at Thai Restaurant Bangkok several times, and it never disappoints. The restaurant is situated in a prime location in Amsterdam. The consistency in delicious Thai cuisine, coupled with a pleasant ambiance, makes it a go to spot. The service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend the Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Yellow Curry, Green Curry, and the Crispy Beef in Oyster Sauce. The outdoor terrace adds a charming touch, and their extensive menu offers a wide array of great dishes. If you're craving Thai, this place is a good choice.

AVOID this restaurant. Rude staff and the worst Thai food I’ve eaten. Female manager needs serious retraining on customer service. I run my own successful restaurant in the UK and was shocked with the attitude of this manager, almost yelling when speaking, this is no way to behave or talk with paying customers. Starters and prawn stir fry dish was good and rest of the food was extremely poor. The chicken fried rice and egg fried rice was horrible and tasted off. We ate what we could and left the rest. Asked for the dessert menu and the female manager raised her hand to look at her watch in front of us as if to imply we haven’t got time for desserts and replied we don’t have dessert menu only have ice cream. Seemed like they wanted to get rid of us. This was by far the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant.

In Regulierstraat, walking distance from cozy canals and Rembrandtplein, this Thai restaurant is worth trying. Quite dark with soft lighting, a good atmosphere for romantic dinners. The menu has many options, we chose a mixed starter (the version with shrimp), then a spicy chicken main with white rice, and a beef one with fried rice. Portions are huge, so one could be enough for sharing (we had so much leftover that we asked to take away). The food was excellent, we enjoyed a few Thai beers with it, and the final bill was 97€ (50€ each). 👍

HELLO FOODIES🤪 Today I have @ for you guys!!! It is my first time visiting this Thai restaurant, I had a lot of people telling me to try it out and I finally did it. It’s a small Thai restaurant where you can have a dine in or a takeaway. I had a good experience with this restaurant as I ordered my food I was STARVING, and not to believe but 5/10 min after ordering my food the food was in front of me steamy and fresh like they are soooo quick with the service it’s insane. On the l menu you can see the customers favorite dishes, you can see that because of the heart shaped emoij’s behind the name of the dish. I had they’re poh tek its Chili paste with a lot of different kinds of proteins such as Shrimps, beef, chicken, pork, squid. Everything on one plate. With unlimited white jasmin rice! Because we ordered a lot, we could taste a little of everything I would definitely recommend that you go with a group and taste all kinds of different dishes. So that you can see and taste what you like or not. Its also a nice date spot so if you got a MATERIAL GWORL / BWOY take them out. My order: 📃Poh tek ( nr 78 on the menu ) 📃Kai Pad Med ( nr 94 on the menu ) 📃Kai pad ped ( nr 43 on the menu ) 📃Kai San bai ( ( nr 79 on the menu )

Visited Bangkok tonight for the first time and I couldn’t run fast enough to share my thoughts on my experience :/ At first impression you walk into a restaurant that gives off a cozy, warm and beautiful atmosphere. While admiring the restaurant you realise you’ve been standing there for 15 minutes beyond your reservation time. My friend being that of German descent, adhering to strict schedules ofcourse does not appreciate having to stand around waiting to be seated after having made a reservation hours prior. The food is pricy for the small portions, and to be honest, not that fantastic. I’m a total fan of Thai and Asian, so I know what’s good. NOT EVEN an hour later we are served up a bill we didn’t even ask for. Who’s to say we didn’t want dessert or a coffee??? We refuse this forceful method to have us leave and sit a while longer, trying to enjoy each others company since it’s been a while that we’ve seen one another. At this point I’m sad I went through the effort to select Bangkok out of ALL the available restaurants in Amsterdam. A few moments later, we’re asked once again to fess up and pay as apparently we were only allocated the table for 90 minutes. IN WHAT WORLD? Absolutely shocked to my core, I feel disgusted left with a bitter taste, hence my eagerness to write this review. We’re forced out a third time after attempting one last time to make the most of our time (as well as seeing a few empty tables anyways). After this hostility we leave with pleasure, and will not return nor recommend to friends.

Insects were flying everywhere at outdoor seating in July. Even though we didn't make a reservation , we asked if they could let us sit inside when a table is availed. The waiter with curly hair just rejected upfront, and rudely put down our second order of water with a loud thud as if it had done a bad deed on him. The other table with a caucasien table, this same waiter was politely providing them with takeout boxes and etc. When it came to us ordering dessert, he refused to let us have a second serving. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL DUTCH AS THEY DON'T RESPECT INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS OF COLOR.

You're served quickly and it's clear that it's because they want you to leave as quickly as possible. So on the plus side you don't wait to eat, on the minus side you feel really pushed out the door. The food is quite good, nothing special, we were satisfied. Alas, because of this feeling of being pushed out (there were three of us and we stayed less than 50 minutes, so I don't feel we wanted to overstay our welcome), we felt it was a bit expensive for the whole experience. I also would like to note that one waiter was nice, the other one pushy - a bit of a good cop/ bad cop approach.

I like the vibe beautifully decorated. The menu is big so much to choose from unfortunately they had no mocktails that would suit the vibe for people that don’t drink. The food is okay and so are the portions it’s an easy going restaurant. The food is bit plain and the calamari I had was to hard. If you want too take the left over food you need to do it yourself that a minus

Best Thai food I’ve ever had. I always order squid when i see it on a menu and I wasn’t disappointed. It was delicious. I had a red curry dish and pad Thai dish as well. Both dishes were also delicious. I was sad to hear they didn’t offer desserts but that’s not the end of the world.

Very nice place and good. However, the waiter was very surprised that we didn't order drinks. She asked two or three times is we are sure. It was not pleasant to have such a waiter. In general food was awesome and I would recommend this place.

This restaurant is not very welcoming. I was stopped at the front and was not allowed in neither at the bar. Seats were open and I was told that he has no space for me. I don’t know if it was the color of my skin, but I was not dressed inappropriately, especially as a male. I would not recommend for anybody of color, or anybody who wants to be treated well regardless.

Less tastefull than expected. The person who served us was arrogant and didn't listen very well and served two dishes we didn't order that way and was irritated when we friendly told her so. Very unfriendly. Will never come there again. Hopefully others have a different / better experience.

Nice food nice staff good prices. I was invited by friends and usually I don't go for restaurants that in my opinion appeal to the tourists. But this one pleasantly surprised me. The food is tasty and for this price at such a location you'd expect a lot less. But it's good. And the staff was very kind and professional. I can recommend if you're hungry for Thai and in the area.

We ate dinner here and it was so delicious! We started this trip in London, then Paris, and ended up in Amsterdam. I do believe this is the best food we’ve had. Not cheap, not too expensive, friendly service, and it’s close to everything.

Delicious!! My friend and me ended so happy and full. We could not even finish everything we ordered. Mosh was really nice to us and very kind. We will come back for sure. 😊👌😍

I was standing in the queue first but I’m not sure why the Thai waitress skipped me, maybe I was alone or simply because I didn’t order their drink while waiting?? and even some other customers noticed that. I wanted the soup to be spicy and her reply was, “if I make it spicy, and if you can’t eat you’re not allowed to change”. Also she was saying rudely that they don’t have tap water and I’m not allowed to drink my own water bottle. Ridiculously with so much rules and no hospitality at all. I guess it’s better to go to other Thai restaurant in this area as the food is also mediocre.

Everything here is perfect. We still have a few dishes to taste but the beef, shrimps, fried rice are to die for! Also very friendly staff. It’s pricey but worth it!

I go here often. The food is excellent, the price is right, and the service is (usually) fast and attentive. It's popular, so you really should have a reservation. There's both inside and outside (most days of the year) dining, with the very common heaters seen all over the city. You may not write home about it, but it's really quite good and casual, for Amsterdam.

Very delicious, attentive but not intrusive team, lovely touch of offering for us to choose our table despite being quite busy so we could sit somewhere we felt comfortable. Had set meal 305. More than enough food for husband & wife with decent appetites. Local beer was cheap as well. Didn’t see a wine list which was a shame but didn’t spoil the evening. (They do sell wine we just didn’t get a list, decided not to have any tonight after a heavy few days already in Amsterdam)

Enjoyed our early dinner here. Food was tasty and service was great! The restaurant can get busy. Safer to make a reservation.

Yesterday I orderd at bangkok. Unfortuanally the food dienst taste as good as usual, it had a different taste. We had the chicken cashew and the chicken sweet sour. The chicken sweet sour tasted just like a can of tomatopaste . The chicken cashew was not as usual also. Before posting this with review online, I called them. And the women, i think the manager or owner, wasn't taking it seriously and kept correcting me with you are the only with this complain, as regular guests at Bankgok it seems feedback is not taking seriously ones you are telling, the food is not as usual and tasteless
