Describing this place as magical is an understatement! Capitan TJ and her team are all fantastic, the animals are friendly and adorable, the views and water are beautiful. They truly think of everything; from water and wood deliveries, and ice cream on Saturdays, to a pizza oven, and kayaks. The campsites are all beautiful, spacious and well thought out. I can't see myself camping anywhere else now. P.S. Bring fresh veggies to feed to the goats - they'll eat them right out of your hands!

Went for a bachelorette party and all the girls had an amazing time. It's a beautiful place, goats and alpacas roaming free, lots of other animals to see. Mud pit, brass dancing poles, antique tubs for photo ops. Captain TJ and her crew were super nice and accommodating. We stayed in kindred spirits cabin and it was beautiful, set up very nice. Thanks for the unforgettable memories

Cabins are rustic and sparse but we enjoy the minimalist camping. The island itself is the best experience. Looking forward to many more visits. Thanks captain TJ.

Island Spirits is one of the best spots to chill and hang out with friends/family. Captain TJ is a great host and provides all you need to have a good vacation. The island is maintained really well and there are many spots where you can connect with nature. The activities that we enjoyed are kayaking, canoeing, watching sunset, animal feeding, stargazing and barbecuing. Thanks to Captain TJ and crew for making our holiday memorable and adventurous.

Captain TJ is amazing! She is passionate, creative, and extremely accommodating to her guests on the Island. I am not capping, this trip was the best trip I've ever been on with my friends and I look forward to come back this year!

Did the trip with friends. Lot of kids in the group and a few senior citizens. The trip was amazing. The cabins are nice, toilets are clean, the island is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. The lake may not seem clean but it's quite good for a dip and for kayaking/canoeing. Animals are nice but can pester you for food, especially of you keep your food open. Err on the side of caution and carry extra food since you don't really get anything on the island. You can carry water too but they do provide jugs for a price. Carry cash since there's no debit/credit. Shout out to the staff for their quick service and friendliness. Definitely worth a visit. Happy to answer more questions.

Close to Toronto (only an hour away) we camped out but we had an amazing experience. The goats will climb tables to eat your food so pick it up when they come and the silkies will not wait until morning to cokckadoodle but we had a great experience with our daughter collecting eggs (bring a spatula) & petting animals.

Absolutely loved my stay on the island. Eco cabin 1 was beautiful and the view was stunning. Most definitely be back. Thank you, Captain TJ and Crew
