The comforts of home at a good price. Service is top notch here! I can’t review the on site restaurant but it looks amazing and is jam packed with people. The property is very clean inside and out. The rooms/hallways are definitely showing their age but clean and tidy nonetheless. Pros: A burgundy crocodile ottoman, need I say more? Don’t let the green granny club chair fool you, this beast is made for relaxation! A little pull out secret drawer on the coffee station to store your secret snacks. LED reader spot lights coming off the side table lamps. Cons: The shower is super narrow, RV style. The TV is the slowest of all the slows. The bed is a little quirky feeling, probably because it’s 25 years old but it’s aged like fine wine. I feel like I need to wear a silk robe and have a flip phone to truly appreciate all this Marriott has to offer but one can only dream.

Really enjoyed my one night stay. Very nice clean and up to date room and hotel. Next time I will stay and try their food and get a drink from the bar. Looked very nice and elegant.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived earlier than expected. They were very accommodating to get our room ready early. Rooms were updated and clean. Maybe the bathroom could have been more spacious and the only real negative was shower water pressure was very low. Hotel gym was underwhelming. Nice lobby and good hot and cold breakfast available for a charge. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was our first stay at a Marriott property in a very long time, and it did not disappoint! The customer service was outstanding from the moment we checked in the hotel. The place offers a nice place to hang out and unwind outside, and the facilities inside are updated and well maintained. We will stay here again if ever in the area. Highly recommend!

We had never chosen to stay at this property because it is one exit past the main Avalon mall exit, but we decided to give it a try, and I’m glad we did! This property is so nice! The fact that the hotel was secluded was even better than expected. A great place to just get away from it all! Would definitely recommend this property for any occasion.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Mitchell, Sydney, Jules, Maria, and Lucy. Even the housekeeping staff were pleasant.

I love the breakfast at this hotel! Netsanet is our favorite server at the restaurant. She is so sweet and attentive. Every time we visit, we ask for her. She is the best! This hotel has great customer service all around. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The ability to use your streaming apps on the television is plus. Can’t wait to stay again at the Alpharetta Marriott.

Excellent Hotel! Very Clean, the music pumping through the hotel was the best I've heard. The only two areas of improvement I would say are: The bed was not as comfortable as the beds at The Hilton, they were nice though, just not as comfortable and the breakfast was very expensive and not as seasoned as I expected for it to be the south and Atlanta at that. Other than that, really nice hotel! Will definitely be my second choice hotel in the future.

Booked this hotel last minute and was so impressed that we booked another night. Front Lobby is very nice and open. Staff at the counter were amazing to deal with. The man couldn't find our reservation due to us booking it seconds prior and it took him just a few minutes to locate it. He apologized and offered us a free breakfast in the dining room the next morning which was greatly appreciated. The room wasn't as updated as the lobby but still a nice room. Plenty of space. Nice TV. Comfortable beds and pillows. Will most likely stay here again next time my wife and I travel to Atlanta.

The rooms were clean, and the space has nice features. My toilet wouldn’t flush so I had to put in a maintenance request. The elevators are probably the fastest elevators I’ve ever used at a hotel. They did not. However, explain that breakfast was not complementary until only after I filled a plate of food, and was leaving for work, there was only two other people there for breakfast, which I find is incredibly wasteful of the amount of food that they offered. Overall, it’s a good location.

Just checked in to hotel and already met with excellent customer service. Mitchell at the front desk wasn't too busy to ask the right questions to assist me with my reservation and accommodations. I was ready for dinner and so I decided to eat at the hotel since I heard great reviews about the food in the hotel. I went to the bar and ordered Blackened Salmon with cream corn. Andrew was the bartender and server. He was amazing and he made everyone feel like we were his top priority. His attention to customer service and follow-up was outstanding. I am glad I selected this hotel for my stay and dinner. Good job, Marriot team!

Nice property overall. As of this post, here is what I experienced. Room: Clean... However, there was a strong, somewhat unpleasant odor when we walked in. There was plenty of space in the room and bathroom. To open the door to the bathroom to had to open it all the way to get in as the toilet is right next to the door. Amenities we experienced: One indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Both were working and in use. One outdoor pool looked nice but was cold as it is the fall season. The fitness room was nice for a hotel gym. They have a full bar and a separate restaurant. They offer breakfast buffet for $$. Overall, it is a nice property with plenty to do and close to regular shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was great! The room is great and clean. Also, the service with the front desk was great. I would definitely come back because how great it is but the only issue is the breakfast. I wished I knew that the breakfast is NOT complementary. I can say it’s my fault too because I didn’t do enough research. Though I think they could’ve have told us before we even got our food and sat down, or at least when we checked-in. We spent $51.72 for breakfast and we didn’t even eat a lot. We could’ve use that money to eat elsewhere. I would also say that the workers for breakfast definitely ignored us, we didn’t have sliver ware because they have to give it to you. Then I had to ask for coffee because they didn’t want to come and check in on us. Definitely not worth the money, take your money elsewhere if you’re going to eat here.

I’m happy to report this hotel is a little gem . I needed to have my mom stay somewhere safe and comfortable for a short time . This hotel fit the bill . It was a clean room with a nice and clean updated bathroom. The staff was super nice, and got her in at an earlier time. Overall I’d highly this hotel to anyone.

The Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta delivers when it comes to good service and a friendly atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, making you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The room itself was clean, although the decor felt a bit dated, signaling room for modernization. Its location is another strong point, conveniently situated for ease of access to local attractions and business centers. Overall, the hotel provides a reliable and enjoyable experience, albeit with some room for updates. The positive service and prime location make it a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

Overall a nice property. The lobby area, bar, concierge club room and even the pool are very nice. The rooms are clean and well kept, a little dated in their decor. The location is right off the highway, a few miles from downtown. The service experience was great. The club room breakfast was light but they provide continental breakfast vouchers to elite members (I am Titanium, not sure for other levels) and you can upgrade to the full host breakfast for $6.

We came down for the Skynyrd concert so this hotel is 10 minutes away from the concert arena in Alpharetta. Top notch hotel with plenty of space to park and close to the interstate. The lobby is litigated with chandelier and the bar is right there close. High caliber place to spend time. It’s very clean the front desk personnel are very professional and kind. They make sure you are going to be comfortable during your stay. The rooms are really clean the bathroom has a walk-in shower with glass doors. The A/C was like home it wasn’t like the ones attached to the wall and blows against the side of the bed closest to the A/C. Had a fridge inside the dresser door so it wasn’t seen in the open. They had a hairdryer and the best smelling shampoo. Best place to stay is the Marriott

The Front Desk Staff and Housekeeping Staff here are very professional, courteous and professional! They have a lot of amenities! I was accommodated very well! My room was very cozy! I enjoyed my birthday getaway at this hotel!

Only came here for a company Christmas party. Did not stay overnight so I can't rate the sleeping rooms. But I can say that the venue is perfect for a party (we had about 175). The service people were attentive and helpful. Everyone was friendly and looking to help in many small ways to make our evening fun and enjoyable. The location is convenient to GA 400, off of Windward. Definitely recommend!

Staff was nice and friendly. But hotel is very old. The only thing updated is the lobby and downstairs area. I had to be switched rooms when I first arrived due to the room being dirty. My second room was ok until the night before my event I noticed feces on the bathroom wall. I had to address this the next day with housekeeping and it was taken care of. But I did not feel the room was clean at all. It is very dated and dingy. Disappointed for the amount of money that was paid.

Amazing hotel, greatly kept, will be recommending to everyone and praising the management. I wish I knew the secret to keep everyone, stuff and guests happy. Everyone is super helpful smiling and pleasant. Exceptional cleanliness around the whole property. Special thanks to Jeffrey from the management and Marin at the breakfast. I’m sorry I didn’t get more names, but definitely will do on the next visit.

Stayed for a convention and had a great time! The hotel staff were very welcoming, helpful and professional. The rooms were nice and cozy. And I absolutely love the room thermostats, (love to sleep in a cool room). All amenities were open (even the indoor pool). Would definitely stay here again!

There were a few things that stood out in an otherwise good place to stay. First the Pros: nice and clean bedroom; Very reasonable Prices; Friendly accommodating staff; we felt safe. Now the not so good: Had breakfast one morning and was severely disappointed with the coffee. 2 cups had to be returned.. they were cold. I had fruit and cinnamon bun. Fruit was good. Used the gym where it stated it's cleaned/disinfected every day. Ummm not quite so. I could see where things remained the same from using it the day before. Other than those two observations the staff was warm and friendly and accommodating. And that makes up for it all. I'd definitely stay there again.

Recent to new styling. Looks nice and well finished. Little items I felt are common with a quality stays weren’t - which was odd. Towels were very scratchy and smelled strongly of bleach or chlorine. All faucets leaked at their base, shower vent wasn’t adequate, just makes the bathroom feel cheep.

The touch-less check-in worked well. The room was decent with good water pressure. Most customers here are buisness folks. On the downside, room clock alarm went off at 6am (I could hear others also going off) and housekeeping came really early. Make sure you put your do not disturb sign up!

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First off, my experience is different because we booked this hotel with a room block for our wedding. From the start we could not get in contact with anyone, we had to call/email multiple people multiple times. Should’ve seen that as a red flag. We eventually got a contract written up and things were good, part of the contract had an attrition clause (if you don’t know what this is I suggest you look it up and never sign anything with one). We had NO control over the amount of guests that decided to use the hotel and were being held liable for the rooms in the wedding block that did not get booked. We tried to get in contact with the event coordinator, Sarah, multiple times and she never responded. Finally we got in contact after emailing everyone we could find and calling multiple times. Essentially she rudely explained that it is what it is. We spent $1.4k in unused rooms. Unused rooms that they could now rent out to guests and make double profit if they wanted. Now we understand it’s our fault for signing the contract written as it was. The thing that was so upsetting was the lack of communication, empathy and customer service presented by this hotel. Now, the actual stay. My room was dirty, hair on the walls in the shower, dingy looking, just overall unimpressive. The hotel bartenders were unfriendly and closed at random times. It was just overall a terrible experience and we will never return.

It’s a lovely clean hotel with attentive and very accommodating staff. No in-room service due to the pandemic currently, no buffet style at the breakfast either but you can sit down at a table and order the breakfast from the menu to be served. Coffee/Juice refills. There’s a snack bar near the reception, and a lovely swimming pool. Wonderful amenities just a few minutes away from the hotel (Avalon).

The front desk was very friendly and attentive. The pillows on the King Size beds are HUGE and super soft. I tend to prefer firmer pillows. I asked if they had a normal sized pillow and right away they sent some up that go on a queen size bed. In the mornings, I had the pleasure of speaking to Sandy who is PHENOMENAL. She works behind the coffee bar and is VERY FRIENDLY, outgoing, and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Alpharetta/Atlanta area.

When I tell you I don't have anything negative to say about this location! 🙌 It was Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! 💯The two gentleman at the front desk were superb in every way.🙌 They were very helpful, very friendly and very knowledgeable. When we first arrived, our TV did not work in our room. I called the front desk and shortly the maintenance guy got right on it. He made sure we got a new room and stayed to make sure our TV was working. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated! I hate that I didn't get a chance to spend more time there. The hotel has a bar, indoor pool and a fitness room. The location is great! It is close to the interstate. I am definitely making plans to stay at this hotel again!🙂

Great full service Marriott located in a nice area. Modern and spacious building with decent size rooms. The concierge lounge is still not open but M-Lounge was available with minimum options. Breakfast was served hot and had a good spread of options to choose from. Overall, a great experience for us. Shout out to Jeffrey Whiten, director of front office for going a long way to help us with our stay. Thank you Jeffrey!

What otherwise would be a good hotel (and I loved the bed) I am gagging every time I walk through the lobby from the hotel “perfume”. If I could breathe, I would have given more stars. That being said, the staff seems genuinely happy and functional, which is important to me. I like feeling comfortable when the staff is treated well. I once heard a staff meeting going on in a hotel in NY in which the manager was shouting at the staff. Shouting. And nasty and insulting. I didn’t know what to do. Toyed with the idea of sticking my head round the doorway and asking the manager if he was ok. You know that just gets put back on the staff, so I did nothing. It was horrible. The Marriott obviously has effective hiring procedures and treat the staff well.

We enjoyed our stay clean rooms and nice lobby space. Net was amazing during our breakfast buffet. The food was delicious and lots of options. Closes to the things we needed to visit during this stay.

We had three nights stay at this place and rather it was venue for our niece wedding. Rooms are clean and neat but safe not provided which is very disturbing compared to standard of hotel. It has controlled temperature pool which is very nice with hot tub besides it , and Gym which is functional with good cardio equipment’s and few for weight training . I wish they had one small rod in multigym to do biceps & triceps. Overall nice experience. Breakfast was good.

. Had a wonderful stay. The best part came in the morning. The breakfast crew Net, Andrew and Marin are wonderful. We started our morning with full of smile and great hospitality. Thank you guys for making my day.

What a great hotel! Great location, lovely room, comfortable bed, delicious food…and the staff there! Kyree checked me in; very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Andrew in the bar and restaurant area, so friendly and helpful. He wanted to make sure there was enough light at my table as I was reading a book! So very thoughtful! Gerardo and James back in the meeting room area were so thoughtful and attentive to our needs! I recommend this hotel to everyone and look forward to my next visit.

As soon as we check in Kim welcomed us with a great smile and provided us great service. The room was clean, bed comfortable and nice stand up shower. Breakfast and staff very nice. Pool area was surrounded by nice landscape.

  • 2/5 Samantha B. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms def need to be updated! The bed was very uncomfortable and it took the room a VERY long time to cool down. Which is crazy because the outside and lobby area are very nice and well kept. Also, the entire staff were so nice! I would not stay again due to the beds and not being able to cool down the room.

Good location, clean lobby and premises, quiet, plenty of parking. Staff friendly. A few restaurants in walking distance or a about a 5 minute drive. My room was clean but the comforter had a stain. I bring my own bedding so it wasn't a big deal.

somewhat dated rooms (shower is nicely renovated, but rest of room is dated), waited all day for text to say room was ready after checking in online, never arrived. concierge lounge still closed as of 12/21. staff was friendly. room was clean. denied titanium-for-life upgrade even though property was not at capacity. probably would look for other property when returning to area.
