Beautiful statue / monument situated in the Central Park near Grand National Theatre , Alicia Alfonso and near to the Capitol. I saw here the ceremony of putting flowers by some ambassadors from Chile. They were accompanied by soldiers. Just look at the attached photos.

(Translated by Google) The Havana waterfront is simply pure magic, life, movement, music, art, religion, place where lovers meet in the moonlight, friends talk about themselves, where musicians play and singers sing, street vendors offer you the merchandise, the santeri make rituals or various things, in short (el malecón) and all to discover ...

Located in Parque Central – The best spot in Havana to get a feel for the city before you venture further. Convenient boarding spot for the ‘hop on, hop off’ tourist buses. Super photo opps for the Teatro, Capitolio, as well as the starting point for the Paseo del Prado, San Rafael and near Obispo street. Do not sit on the wall surrounding the statue, it is impolite and the police might motion for you to move. Instead, grab a park bench and watch all the commotion.

This seems to be the place to be at sunset - but not much after - I heard it was dangerous then. BUT just as the firey globe is about to descend into the water, musicians, toursists, and lovers are sprinkled along the water break.

This promenade, which runs parallel to the coast, is the most frequented leisure place for the inhabitants of the island and foreign tourists who come to the splendid site to breathe the sea breeze, converse or jog through its around 8 kilometers of extension. The Malecón is a beautiful place for lovers, amateur fishermen, painters and artists of different specialties: a true pulse of the city, a true reflection of the life of its inhabitants.

(Translated by Google) I went through it at night and I could feel that with the lack of internet is the place where Havana residents meet to connect with the world and with each other. However the lighting at night is very scarce and can be dangerous if you do not look carefully where you step, I also recommend exercising more control over the litter and smells.

(Translated by Google) Spectacular power to walk around one of the most mythical places in Havana. To appreciate its people fishing, walking or entertaining the afternoon with cantes and guitars can not be compared with anything. If you were not on the boardwalk, you did not see Havana (Original) Espectacular poder pasear x unos de los lugares más míticos de la Habana.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful boardwalk where the habbers gather to enjoy the sunsets and the hot nights. Nice to walk, admire and listen to the sea with its sound of waves. In this place the carnivals are celebrated and parades and floats parade to the rhythm of Cuban music. If you go to Havana it is a beautiful place to bake.

(Translated by Google) More than a place, the Malecón is a living being. In addition, a living being that does not rest and that has thousands of different faces. In this walk of several kilometers all the identities of Havana are reflected. In it you can find young people jumping to the sea from the rocks, men fishing, friends eating ice cream, old people talking about politics, families who just want to walk ... Day or night, summer or winter, The Malecón of this city is like the city itself: unpredictable, humid, ramshackle, unique and cheerful.

It was the beginning of our visit place in Havana. We kind of shocked by the people there and that is why I rated it 4 stars. The place was nice and beautiful, however, too many beggers were there and amazingly they are among a few people that know English 🤦🏻‍♂️

(Translated by Google) It is a nice place to see the sunset, a must see if you are in Havana. It is illuminated in some areas more than in others. Near the national hotel the lighting is led lamps that at night provide more clarity. You can take excellent photos, the view is beautiful, it is a quiet area to drink mates and talk with Cubans.

(Translated by Google) It is absolutely worthwhile to go here, because even in light winds the waves are lashed against the wall and provide a splendid spray. A good place is around the Castillo de San Salvador de la Punta.

Very lonely place, only fishermen and sometimes tourists in classic cars stop to make photos. In general if you dont have lots of free time in Habana, as its many places to visit, I would just drive by car alongside.
