I keep seeing people say "good ramen but bad service" and I somehow got the exact opposite! I got very good service, the waitress was really nice and attentive. But my dish seemed very bland. The chicken was seasonless and dry, the soup base was okay, and the noodles were just basic noodles:/ maybe I got a bad batch? Other people seem to love this place tho! Perhaps this just isn't the place for me.

We got there when it was busy but our food and appetizers were served around 10 quick minutes after ordering, and service was very friendly. It looked small but we had plenty of elbow room without bumping into anyone. A nice place to eat, especially on a rainy day! We had a window view, and it was really enjoyable. I definitely recommend!

Delicious Tonkotsu Ramen on a cold afternoon. Really hits the spot and keeps you enjoying the different textures and flavors the restaurant has to offer. Also add some sesame seeds for even more contrast in texture 🍜

If you’re obsessed with truffle oil, then the soy based Truffle ramen will have you hooked. It might be a bit over-truffled for me (if that’s possible). I taste truffle and scallion. A touch overpowering but still lovely and a very good ramen otherwise. Noodles were perfect. The takoyaki was a small portion; pretty tasty crunch on the outside while still soft on the inside. I enjoyed this with a small bottle of sake in a park a few blocks down the road. Would recommend!

Was in the region for a biz trip, I ordered spicy ramen, which was awesome! My colleagues ordered pork rice bowl, he loved it!

My goto place for Ramen. My favourite was the Tonkotsu with the pork belly. It was so good - the pork belly just melt in your mouth and it doesn't have that pork smells. If you are a pork lover, you will know what I meant. The gyoza was awesome too and it was so crispy on the outside. Give it a try and you will know what I meant.

Very solid ramen spot. Great flavor and not too spicy. I got the Tan Tan ramen but would probably stick with the tonkotsu next time around. It does have a small parking lot which is better than most places in Glendale. Give it a shot if you like ramen.

I’m sick of fast food Once I came in R101 Ramen I loved it I’m eating here everyday and I’ll eat here forever! My kids will eat here My grand kids well I’ll buy this place (or ask them to hire me) so I’ll eat there all the time. Love the cashier and hostesses! Dream team Thank you so much! For dinner I had the curry with a side of chicken karaage. The curry plate was good. It had the right amount of spices and consistency. The chicken was good too, but the drizzled sauce on top dampened the crispness of the chicken that I was looking forward to. Overall I would recommend and go again.

Very disappointed I’m a bus driver and I grab my food on a fast pace environment, I order fried squid and a ramen soup that I specifically said I wanted medium spicy. I got opened my ordered and my soup had no spicy I can eat this no flavor I like my food with a little spicy. I called to complain and they say they can’t hear my complaint because it’s to loud in there😤

Food was fairly decent.But service was awful! I asked our server if she can have my meat well done/ char/Crispy. She responded so rudely " We don't do that here"! She responded so rude I honestly did not enjoyed eating my food! Food was okay just won't ever go back!

Good ramen all flavors are really good. The broth was really flavorful and the noodles were nice and chewy. The pork belly was SO GOOD. One of the servers ignored us but otherwise they were really nice. note: They have 18% gratuity for 5 people or more.

This one is going down in my personal favorites list. You can taste the time they invest into their broth and noodles. So tasty, and rich with flavors. My Girlfriend and I got a late lunch here. We had the Chicken Karaage, LA Tan Tan and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen! We’re coming back for sure.

Seriously some of the most fire of all fires. I had the Tan tan with pork and I can say I wish it never ended. The wait staff was also super chill, I’ll definitely be back

My boyfriend and I found this little ramen place in a mall in Glendale and we were pleasantly surprised on how good it was. The ramen was so good. Little spot in Glendale that I highly recommend for anyone that have ramen craving.

My gf and I have been on a ramen high for a bit, so far we've tried tatsu, silver lake ramen and now r101 ramen. The staff was friendly and we were seated a lot faster than the other two. The food however, was a bit of a downgrade compared to the other places we tried. The pork was dry and not buttery. The noodles were good and the broth was rich. My only complain is the the dry pork.

Spent 50$ on 2 ramen bowls just to have the broth taste nasty and old and noodles that tasted bloated and Chewy in the most negative way meat and egg was ok but was a wast of money ngl

I just moved back to the US from 7 years in Tokyo, so I like good Ramen. This place's tonkotsu ramen was 100% perfect along with their spot on gyoza. The ramen egg was cooked to perfection. And of course the bottle of Sapporo to top it off. However, I did ask a female waitress if they make their own gyoza, and she said, I don't know and walked away, welcome to LA right. But the guy waiter that helped me was great. I highly recommend this place!

Small hidden place away from the main life of Glendale. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not a good place to be in. Servers are very attentive and you get your order within 10 minutes. I got Tonkotsu with pork belly and I found the ramen flat. You get to add sesame, spice, and other condiments if you choose to add flavor to your preference. I might come back here to try out more of their products.

wow, what a surprise little gem! I randomly walked by this joint and stopped in for a bowl of ramen to warm me up. Great music is bumping and a cute girl shows me to my seat. My bowl of tan tan ramen came quickly and was on point! Nice spice without knocking me out and rich brown with noodles that had the perfect bite and thick slabs of pork belly. Highly recommend for a money bowl of ramen!

I ordered the Tan Tan ramen and it was superb , I would highly recommend this place !

The restaurant is quaint with a calming wooden aesthetic and wonderful smells all around. The staff is friendly and the flavors... good grief, the flavors are incredible. From the smallest takoyaki to the largest ramen, every dish is sure to leave an impression on your palate. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking relief after a long day or a nice venue for old friends.
