The food here is amazing! We had 2 starters, rice and a mixed kebab between two of us, the flavours were wonderful. Just make sure you leave room for the honey & walnut cake and the baklava...they were the best I've ever had!

Great food and good service. Thought we'd try something different this time and was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious. Drink menu could do with work to complete the overall experience. It's all about the experience isn't it? They do do BYOB which is good though. Highly recommended 👌

Great food, recommend getting as your starters hummus, pitta etc. With your mains and kebabs - makes a great mix. Lovely staff

Tried out this restaurant and unfortunately was disappointed. I have been to other Lebanese restaurants & the food has been tasty. But here from starters to mains, all dishes were sub- standard. The kebabs had a strong smoky taste and were dry, the rice wasn't cooked to perfection, the pastry wasn’t crisp enough & over all flavour was missing in the food. I hope they make improvements.

Proper hidden gem of Manchester, Went tonight with my husband who had never had lebenese food so we got 8 mezze starters so he could try different things and a main (would have easily fed 4) Every item was spot on, cooked to perfection and full of flavour, servers were very attentive and friendly, yet waited at the top end of the dining room once they had served the food, glancing at customers instead of interrupting whilst eating which is always a bonus (I hate when you have just taken a mouthful of food to be asked "is everything ok") all we had to do was raise a hand slightly and they were at the table. We ordered way too much so staff packed it all individually for us to take home. Added bonus of BYOB with no corkage fee although they do sell wine and beer themselves. Thank you Yara for a lovely evening, we can't wait to return.

We stopped in here for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding and had we had more time we would have kept chatting with our server. This was made perfect by the quality and taste of the 3 dishes we had. The Babaghanouj, Bourak and Maklubeh were outstanding! We’d never had the 2 last dishes and loved the flavor. If we every get back to Altrincham this will definitely be our first stop.

The food wasn't proper Mediterranean style, I can't have junk food from any fast food shop and enjoy it more, they are treating the customers as ignorant. They don't know anything about Mediterranean food but unfortunately it wasn't a really lucky day, I swear I had much. Much better food than this. I had it at Yara, don't know if I can post this short review without giving stars because they don't deserve stars for their food, but the service was good to be honest.

Amazing birthday meal here tonight! Great service from all the staff as well as delicious, flavourful food. Amongst the party we ordered lamb chops, chicken kebabs, chips, different kinds of rice, greek salad, halloumi, pita, moussaka and hamra stew, and all were absolutely fantastic!

Lovely evening spent here. The decor and overall ambience of the restaurant is lovely. Food is delicious & staff very pleasant. Have marked down 1 star as slightly disappointed at main meals being brought out whilst still enjoying starters.

Yara was nice and clean, pleasant atmosphere, food was really nice tasted authentic. Faiz the waiter was really polite great guy. Yara well worth the visit.

Very disappointed - my friend is vegetarian, and despite stating he wanted the vegetarian option off the menu, he was served a pastry that contained minced lamb. If that wasn't bad enough, the replacement was completely frozen in the middle. We had no apology from management, and the couple on the table next to us had a similar experience! Terrible customer service.

Absolutely fantastic. Popped in for Sunday lunch as really fancied some kebabs and hummus and this was some of the very best we have had. Everything we had was just perfect from the salads to the kebabs to rice. Great that you can bring your own wine too… I’ll be back soon with a bottle of red under my arm. Yum.

Delicious food, nice staffs and quiet atmosphere Restaurant. Greek Salad is my all time favourite dish to goes with Lamb Shawarma, although I am not a lamb meat fan.

This was our favourite restaurant in Altrincham until this week. We had booked a table for two for 6.30 on Saturday. We arrived promptly and were shown to our table by nice young staff. We enjoyed (until 7.30), as always, a nice meal, served by polite young staff members. At 7.20, an older female staff-member (who seemed to be a manager/supervisor) put the bill (which we hadn't asked for!) in the middle of our table just as were enjoying our last mouthfuls, which we found highly unprofessional and rude. There was no mention when we booked the table that it was only for 1-hour, and we still had a full glass of wine each. A couple of minutes later the same staff member came over again and said "I'm sorry we need this table". We paid the bill and left. My advice is: Go to Yara and enjoy yourselves, but only if you can be certain that the lady mentioned above is not working there when you visit.

Ordered this on delivery during overnight stay in Manchester. Best lamb chops I've ever had! I can't imagine how they would have been if I dined in. So flavoursome and tender. The rice was amazing, simple yet so different and packed with flavour. A must when in Manchester.

Food is amazing. Lovely restaurant and very reasonably priced. You can take your own alcohol but there is a bar if you prefer. Great service, definitely recommend 👌

Terrific food as always, and consistently excellent. Only issue is that conversation in the main dining area is loud perhaps because the space is small and there is apparently no sound absorption.

The food is absolutely fantastic! We were a group of nine so we had the chance to try many dishes and every single dish was spot on. The service was great as well! A must try if you’re looking for good Middle Eastern food.

Delicious! I would definitely go back. The fattoush and humous shawarma were particularly nice. I went there at 3pm when there was only 2 other people there so I’m sure the atmosphere is better at peak times. I was also not keen on what was playing - it sounded like a Lebanese concert of some sorts, so a mix of random shouting to a crowd, cheering and singing wasn’t very relaxing…

The food and service are always superb here. It's even (or was even) bring your own booze. Hummus starter and kofta main are amazing. A little pricey but then it is on the Altrincham/Hale border.

We had dinner at Yara on 28/04/2023 and it was one of the worst meals we'd had out in a while. We had ordered food from Yara in 2022 and it was absolutely delicious so we were excited to eat in. The staff were incredibly rude. Every single member of staff looked as if they had worked a 48 hour shift in a war zone. They were miserable. It was just a bad experience from the minute we opened the door. The staff slammed out drinks and plates down on the table despite us being friendly and polite. They gave us the wrong drinks twice and never brought any water after asking twice. We gave up asking again. The Fattoush salad was very bad. It was low quality ingredients with little flavour. It was like something you'd make in a high school class. The Tabakh Rawou was also very poor. Very mild flavour with huge, spongey chunks of aubergine and soggy courgette. We were so disappointed after having delicious food in the past. We won't come back.

Very good food. Came highly recommanded but i was disapointed with the waiter. There was no one to great us then the waiter was having à conversation with his hand free Phone while taking our order. I would not go again.

Went in a largish group & had the set menu. Good options for the vegetarians in the group and good support for gluten free too. Food was delicious but over generous portions. We felt guilty about the amount of food left over.

Easily in my top 10 restaurants, the food is so good. It doesn't matter what I order off the menu, the quality is always 10/10. Highly recommend the chicken wings and the lamb chops, I can't visit without getting these. Their chilli sauce I could drink as soup, the combination of the rice with vermicelli, sauce and lamb chops with the fresh bread really is out of this world. Bring your own booze too which just elevates it to the top 10 status as you don't have to spend a fortune on drinks!

Went yesterday evening with a Christmas family meal and the food is always amazing, you can't fault that. But the service was average. Forgot one starter and one main, no service for drinks in-between meals. Always had to get up and ask. Was offered free dessert and coffee which was good but then one of the desserts was just thrown on the table from a passing waiter. Just topped off the service. Missing stuff is fine, you can learn from this by reading back the order to confirm. But to just throw a dessert down like they couldn't wait for us to go. Four stars is generous for a review but I can appreciate good food even is service is average.

My wife has had a great experience dining-in this restaurant. Sadly mine the opposite. Having heard good reviews from others, I ordered via Deliveroo. Order delivered missing one of the two vegetarian dishes I had ordered. This spoilt our experience and was made worse as one of our guests was a vegetarian. I called the restaurant and was told I would have to get in touch with Deliveroo. Long story short, I was offered a refund for the missing items or a 45 minute wait for them to be delivered. Neither suitable for me. Personally, I do not accept this error should take place. Why did this restaurant not double check the order before sending it out and why not make the driver check they have the correct order before they leave. I cannot see how these two simple steps would stop the issue happening again. While dining in restaurants (not this one) I tend to see the drivers turn up to collect, they are handed a bag and leave without any checks. No wonder my experiences are so poor.

Amazing food, can see why regulars go. Ordered 2 starters and 2 mains and between two foodies we couldn't eat it all! They do give you a doggy bag if you want. Would definitely revisit if in area again

Loved the food, ambience, service and price. I was surprised, once I got in, to see that it was quite a decent sized place. Very welcoming staff and the best of it all was the huge choice of vegetarian food. There's plenty of public parking space behind the restaurant

Food is perfectly seasoned and has a great balance of flavours. Price is reasonable too.
