Predatory car parking - an increase of 500% over previously. The National Trust are apparently attempting to replace the UK aristocracy with their own tin-eared ivory-tower 'let them eat cake' elitism. Disgraceful, especially given the CEO's six-figure salary. Boycotted.

A really beautiful place to visit. The deer park is great. Great if you want a walk. Good facilities including 2 cafes, ice cream parlour and shop.

Nice place to go for a walk. You can get quite close to the deer. The Christmas light show was on, we didn't go to that (you need tickets and it was sold out) but you can still see light projections on the house and you can go round the stalls.

Soooo beautiful and lovely. Both the museum and the deer place were wondering. It is worthy to see this place at least one time.

Went for the Xmas light "show" really disappointed!... It's an extortionate charge to buy tickets and park, and the "lights" themselves are sparsely spread out and look like they were bought from B&Q, there's nothing special or exciting about them in the slightest, one "display" is even nothing more than some brightly coloured string spread about with a few UV lights underneath 🀷 As you enter you are taken through a selection of tired, rundown "rides" from the 1950's and a few food stalls.... The prices for food are unbelievable and a complete rip off (£7 for a plain hot dog!!) And there's nothing "special" about the food to justify the robbery level cost, it's basic cheap quality. The kids will enjoy, but kids are easily fooled by bright lights and the Xmas ambiance, when they're not getting under your feet, in the way and crying and screaming constantly that is. Save your money, Blackpool illuminations are free, better, and far far more enjoyable.

Great Park! But best time to view is probably over weekdays than weekends as it can be very very busy and overly packed. The plants and trees are good and the deers are few compared to what i had expected, or it may be cause of so many people they found their own quiet spots. We visited on October, 2022. They have great reception, with additional benefits for the members. Services Available: 1. Great Parking 2. Easy Drive 3. Reception 4. 2 Restaurants (HOT/COLD/ICE CREAM + MEALS + SNACKS) 5. Toilets 6. Wheelchair Friendly 7. Lots of open spaces 8. Friendly atmosphere and people I personally liked Tatton Park better, more lakes and lots more deer and wide open space.

Nice place to visit. Especially at Christmas and with kids. But as non member, a ticket is expensive per person, and the car park charge Is very expensive.

It is a beautiful garden, but not the most spectacular I have visited; however, certainly worth a visit.

Loved this place. The garden was so beautiful, nicely maintained. Deer Park is attractive, and plenty of Deer are in sight. We went for the Christmas lights as well, I'd say one of the most beautiful scenes

A pleasant walk through acres of rambling countryside. The walks are fairly easy, and most paths are wheelchair accessible. The park also boasts several herds of red deer. There is a house and gardens, which are free to national trust members. The carparking is limited, first come, first served, so to speak, although there are spaces on roads around the park. Free parking for national trust members.

Beautiful deer park, woodland, gardens, lakes and ponds all tastefully maintained. Excellent cafe with good service provided by polite staff. Generally staff are welcoming and proactive in attitude towards visitors.

The deer park is what you’d expect, but the gardens were a bit disappointing, with large areas looking unkempt; not looking wild and good for wildlife, just unkempt. It was an underwhelming visit.

Very popular park. Nice garden, good cafe and plenty of room to walk and children to ride bikes etc

Staff were so nice and helpful, beautiful place to visit. Deer were everywhere and come close too.

Lovely place for a stroll in the grounds but Β£6/person is extortionate for the car park, if not visiting the gardens. Another Β£8 each for the house too!

Lovely place. Only bad thing to say is I'm a member and the gentleman on the gate gave me a ticket which he said was for the gardens, not the house. When enquiring at the house entrance, the ticket is for the house so I could have purchased one when I didn't need to. The house entrance wasn't clearly sign posted and there was no easy exit back to the lockers to get my bag. We had to go round the outside of the house and gardens, back into the house entrance to get our bags. No water, food or drinks are allowed in the house. If its a nice day, I'd recommend taking a blanket to sit on as the lawns are lovely for a picnic or a nice relax.

Lovely walk around the winter garden, so many beautiful plants and trees just coming into bud. The deer park too is great for a walk and to experience the wildlife. More people there than I expected considering the present restrictions but they soon disperse once into the park land as well as the one way system in the gardens. Had a good time... something new to see throughout the year.

It's a great place to visit. It's best to become a member as entry fee soon ads up .

Excellent place to visit for walking, picnic and seeing the deer in beautiful grounds. House and gardens also worth seeing.

Have always enjoyed days at Dunham. Took my boys years ago and take my 5 grandchildren now. Very well kept spacious and relaxing. Have missed going during the lockdown so looking forward to getting back to normal times. Have booked for the Christmas lights as we did not manage to get there last year due to COVID and really looking forward to it later this year.

A really impressive National Trust exhibit, I would recommend strongly that you watch β€˜the dig’ on Netflix before visiting as it brings it to life and adds a new dimension to the characters involved

πŸ‘πŸ‘ There are a number of public parks in the area but this is probably the best. There are a number of large fields to play in and a few park benches around the borders for those who prefer to watch the world go by. The resident wildlife is also worth looking out for, with 🐿️ and 🦊 as well as the usua...

πŸ‘ It's a very nice park with play area for kids, big fields for sports and track paths. My wife is a bit scared of unleashed dogs so that's why we couldn't spend a lot of time in there as there were too many of them. In fairness it's a great place for the pets too but not for people who are a bit scar...
