I have been frequenting this restaurant for a few years when I drive from Sussex to Timperley regularly to see parents. The food is fab, the staff are fab and great with my Dad who has dementia, prices are very good, parking is fab. There is nothing not to like. Please use this place. As an independent business owner, I know how important it is to have a busy business. Thankyou for looking us over the years. Kerry

Such a lovely, cosy part of Timperley. Staff are lovely and food was delicious. Highly recommend the pesto garlic bread.

Little Italy has, for many years, been our favourite restaurant for special occasions. Our latest visit certainly didn't disappoint. Our party included a 1 year old and a 90 year old and the waitresses could not have done more to ensure their needs were catered for. Service was excellent, very relaxed but faultlessly efficient. The food was exceptional (in fact the lemon cheesecake was possibly the best dessert I've had anywhere!) Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Pros - friendly staff and helpful. Tasty food with nice colour and flavours. Starter which was garlic bread came in under 5mins. Main came in 20mins. Food is very cheap especially pasta. Cons - Had to wait 45mins as the owner said it was too hot in the restaurant for them so me and the mrs had to go to the bar next door and get a drink. Decor is very outdated. The pepper shaker was from Aldis lol The starter plain garlic bread, was very crispy on top but not on the bottom so im assuming it was grilled quickly. - Found a grey on the table when i first sat down. Also 2 live ants on the wall and table. - Place was very hot. No air conditioning. Was sweating the whole time eating. Fans on the ceiling just move hot air around. Id say come in the evening. I recommend coming only for the cheap main meal and leaving as soon as possible because of the heat and crawling ants.

Went for lunch with friends and sat in the outside area in the sun. Really tasty and good value for money. The Chef even came out to ask if we had enjoyed, which was really nice to see. We will be back. Thank you little Italy.

Went for dinner on the 2nd of June, evening before my wedding. We sat outside as it was a nice evening. The food was delicious and service was great. Portion sizes were generous as well and very reasonable prices. Will definitely go again or alternatively order delivery.

Really fancied some authentic Italian food so rather than a chain we chose this place. I asked on arrival do they make their own sauce for lasagne they said yes. It wasn't fresh made it was reheated. No flavour, it was bland, no meat, no tomatoes, onions, just a lot of warm pasta, sent it back. We ordered garlic bread with cheese, again bland just cheesy bread so we asked for a re-do and it did come back tasting of garlic. All in all tho bland re-heated food. It's not for us, we'll not be back. I've had better lasagne out of the freezer in a supermarket .

Great atmosphere in this very compact local restaurant. Good choice of dishes, well cooked and reasonably priced particularly if on the early bird menu

The food here is great and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only downside is that the pizza base looked pre-made or frozen.

Terrible food, chips not cooked and covered in black bits with the taste of old oil, mushroom risotto was awful. First time trying, will never go back. Ive just wasted 43 quid on utterly diabolical food

Heard a lot of good things about this place, went with a party of ten, wasn't impressed with the service, cutlery missing for some, waited a long time for the mains, 8 came togrther but two had to wait a good 7 or 8 minutes for their's to arrive...1 waited for potatoes for the same amount of time to go with their meal which was now cold, drinks order wasn't right and slow, and my fish dish, which I had to wait for was very overcooked, dry and chewy. I complained and that dish was knocked off the bill. Portion sizes were extremely small, no one out of the party felt full. Additionally the chairs were very uncomfortable. We definitely won't be returning.

Not one to write reviews but I would be remiss if I didn’t let people know about the experience we had here on Christmas Eve. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The prawns came in a sludge that I wouldn’t feed to my dog, and the garlic bread was absolutely grim. The starters were so bad, in fact, that we requested they cancel the main courses and bring us the bill. That’s how bad it was. Not surprised the restaurant was half empty on Christmas Eve. This was topped off by us being offered out by the ‘Chef’ as we walked out of the restaurant. Merry Christmas indeed.

This used to be a go to for us but we won’t be returning; not sure if it’s under new management but there is only one word to describe our experience - abysmal. The food is incredibly bad - pizza was inedible. I’d rather go buy a Dr Oetker from Sainsburys and bang that in the oven. Italians would laugh in the face of whoever decided to name this establishment. AVOID.

Went on a Thursday tea time and it was very very warm in the restaurant and lots of flies which was off putting. I understand it was warm outside but there was no air in restaurant and not possible to sit outside. Food was nice but not outstanding at all which was a shame. The young waitress was really lovely and friendly. Due to the heat, the flies and couple to our right and then a couple behind us arguing, we just ate our food and left. Really disappointed to be fair

The worse pizza I evere had in my life. I entered the "pizzeria" as the menu looked italian (and I am italian), and I wanted a take away pizza. I ordered one Margherita with chips, and a ham and mushrooms pizza. Dear!! There was no pizza dough, just a ready made pizza base, probably frozen. They put this base into a rounded tray, and out some ingredients on top. The mushrooms were uncooked (disgusting), and the ham...that was actually prosciutto crudo, cooked, which you never ever have to cook! I was given the margherita and a box. When I asked what was in the box, I was told that the chips were inside. What sorry? I've asked for a margherita WITH chips, I mean on top. The girl didn't even know what I was talking about. We couldn't finish those pizzas, as basically the ingredients were not even cooked enough. Even the chips were not freshly fried, they tasted old. A disgrace non just for the italian pizza, but for any kind of pizza. AVOID!

It's a decent local Italian - good range of dishes and drinks but isn't doing anything unexpected!

First time in Little Italy for myself and my partner and what a little jewel it is. Cozy and personal with wonderful food and great wine. Sam the owner takes the time to come out of the kitchen and make sure everything is fine personally, and our server Brooke was super attentive and helpful the whole night. We'll definitely be returning to this delightful eatery in the future.

9 of us visited this fabulous restaurant for my Father's Birthday last night and all enjoyed the gorgeous food. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was excellent. It is easy to see why it is a favourite with my parents. We are looking forward to another visit. Still just as wonderful, i can't fault them at all.
