My SO wanted to get some sushi, so we went on google to see what was available except for our regular place. RoKa popped up and I have never heard about it before, so we have decided to check it out (I have lived in Helmond for over a decade). It all started with the welcoming: the hostess was very welcoming, warm and personal. As we were having food we noticed her greeting almost every guest in a personal manner by their first or last name because she knew them. This is customer sevice! Anyway, back to the food: after having had an extensive explanation about the menu from the hostess we went ahead and ordered various sushi. Long story short: we did not have to wait long for food at all, in fact we were even asked if we wantes to wait before the next course. The dishes tasted fresh and VERY yummy! Separate points for soja-sushi and use of gember in crème brûlée! We are very much looking forward to come back to taste the rest of the menu!

Excellent experience. Super friendly Boss... that smile and pleasure of her feels like really being welcom at the restaurant. Présentation is unique too. The restaurant is modern but inviting decorated. Not too many gimmicks just well designed stuff what makes sense at its present. Little tip for the mayonnaise... could be slightly less. I know Japanese love it to, but here it distract a little bit from the exquisite and fine taste of the rolls actually. Meat: wouwww that was tender!

Very impressed. Nice food and good service. it tasted soooooo good!!! the lady serving was very friendly and you felt very welcome. also to the waiter. Nice and clean place. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, kind/friendly staff, great food, new/modern. Worth a visit, but make a reservation, to be sure you have a table.

The sushi (dragon roll) and gyoza were great! The half lobster tasted ok but it had very little meat. I do not recommend. Mocktail jus was also ok. The main dishes take too long to get ready. At least on a Friday night. Overall a nice place!

Such kind and gentle staff, great food. Really loosened my heart after a tough emotional day. I will go again for sure

Very Impressed. We got here quite late, yet we were given a first class treatment and the meal was so delicious. The kids enjoyed the meal and were given gift as well. Brilliant.

One of the best restaurants I ever went too. Great food, LOVE the surprise menus as it’s always something different. Together with the wine arrangement and the great smile of the owner it is always a pleasure to dine here.

The food was delicious and presented beautifully. They handled my allergies with care, even though there was a small hiccup it was quickly solved.

We were there with a party of 8 for a company dinner. The food was awesome. And I can not remember the servers name but she was amazing to us. Thanks for a great evening.

We are Japanese. This restaurant is run by non-Japanese couple. Yet we come there often to have dinner with our friends. The Japanese dishes they serve are quite close to real Japanese. So it is all right. The quality of fish is very good because fresh fish is brought in here every day directly from Zeeland. Some ingredients and dishes on the menu are not like Japanese at all. For instance, things like avocado and mayonnaise are never used or sushi role dishes with rice outside are not served in authentic Japanese restaurants. But these are meant for Dutch customers. We come here only to eat Sashimi and Nigiri Zushi.

Excellent food, very friendly staff and great service! One of the best restaurants in Helmond. Highly recommended to all lovers of Japanese cuisine!
