Stopped here and got the fish and chips. The fries were fantastic! I also got a small cup of gravy for my fries and it too was fantastic. The fish, while good was not as amazing. One price was great and the batter was light. The other piece was a bit overcooked and not as good. Overall for the price, I was happy. The restaurant is also very clean and a nice little place, the staff was very friendly. Worth a stop if you're in Amherst and want a bite to eat.

I bought a Jumbo donair ,expecting a huge donair its just a large, don't ever get it there is no difference ,and it was like 20 dollars plus i gave a tip , the meat was soooo dry you could tell it was sitting around all day, the quality of this place is all but gone, never getting my business again. (just a tip learn how to prep(fry) your pita bread giving people dry pita bread is just about the worst thing you could ever do to a donair).

Amazing food, especially the donair, and the fish and chips. Very small store without much dine in option, but that's not a concern for me.

As soon as I saw the sign I had to stop, it was a good donair except for the tortilla wrap instead of the pita was disappointing and difficult to eat with out knife and fork.

Called a larger order in with a few specific requests. Everytime we travel back to NB, we bring donairs for our family! This was the first time we'd ordered from Freddie's and I was so happy with our food. I called in an hour early asking for it to be ready at 3.45. I arrived a few minutes early and the gentleman was just finishing our order. He had everything labeled in different bags for the different made donairs. Not only were they perfectly made, they were super delicious too!! As displaced blue noses, we don't mind even a badly made donair. But these traveled 3h to NB and were still so freaking great!!! Freddie's has certainly become our new go to spot!

I'm giving 4 stars because this is not my favorite pizza but it was still good. I got pep and beef and the flavor was great, but there's something about the crust I'm not a fan of. I'll prob try the donair here next time.

Freddie's has always served us great tasting and great looking food. Have rarely ever received a wait time over 25 minutes (& I place fairly large orders). They also host quite a lot of different menu items, including the classic chicken fingers and fries for the picky eater. Tonight I'm enjoying a chicken poutine from Freddie's and it's one of the best I've had! Highly recommend Freddie's Pizza Amherst.

Got two large donairs and a slice of pepperoni pizza a week and a half ago, they were excellently delicious, juicy, with a nice amount of meat in them, kudos to the chef in there, really enjoyed our donairs.

Great small town pizza and donair shop. Little stop with the family to get our donair fix. The drop in and performance by a random meandering banjo player was unexpected. Dinner and a show!

The pizza wasn't anything special if youre used to Pictou county pizza we are spoiled with good pizza so this didn't take any awards from me. I also had a donair which was decent. It was a bit small for the price compared to where I'm from but the quality was decent.
