I have been to this salon only one time at their Amityville location. i decided to make another appt through their website. My appt was at 7:00pm. I went to their Amityville location only to find out they were no longer there. Called the number on their website...no answer. Googled them to see if there was a different address for them and found an address in Massapequa. I drove there and again no salon. At this point it was close to 8pm. I checked my email to see an email from Darcel saying that I had an appt. UH yeah! She left her cell which I called and she told me she moved to Deer Park. I was furious since I live in Bayshore. No where on her site does it say she moved. After service, I paid with my card in which she charged me twice. I texted her the next day to let her know this. She apologized and said she will refund me. I should of taken the money at that point. I told her to keep it and we can use the money for a future service. She agreed. It's been 7 months and I have been trying to make another appt. She has not responded to my DM's, emails or texts. Never picks up phone when I call and can't leave a voice message since her mailbox is full. I even tried going to the salon and it was closed. Needless to stay I will never return and most likely will never see my money.

I was in & out!!! I love Darcel & her whole personality. She is definitely a people person, always careful, respectful, & she will tell you the truth. If a style won't be good for you, she will tell you that & tell the reasons why. She is a Godly woman. She is full of wisdom & going to her shop feels like going to visit one of my good friends. All the customers have been nice & respectful as well. We all talk together like we've known each other before that day.... I have been going to her for 8 years because I was transitioning to natural & she does natural hair & my hair is natural. She grew my hair from bopped off at 3-6 inches, to 14-16 inches & it's healthy. My hair use to be in my hands if I touched it.... If she knows your issue, she will tell you how to maintain healthy hair; certain things to eat & correct. She is fun. The shop is small. I love it there. Put your hair, in her blessed hands!

I’ve used Darcel since I started my natural hair journey which is well over 8 years now. Almost a year ago I started my loc journey. She’s very efficient, prices are reasonable, the shop is an update to date modern shop and most of all it’s clean. The environment is very warm and she makes all her clients feel at home. If you are looking for natural hair care, you’ve found the right shop.

12/31/16 I went to this salon for the first time to get my hair washed and flat ironed. I've been natural for two years and wanted to find a natural hair salon and this one came up. I got my hair done by Princess. She is a sweet lady and funny. The people in the shop made me feel comfortable. Princess was very gentle with my hair and she detangled it better than I ever could lol. All in all the experiece was great, I let her take the wheel and trim as much as she felt I needed. My hair came out beautiful and I had no heat damage when I washed it a day or two later. Will be returning.

Best natural hair salon on long island!!!!! I came in asking for two strand twist. she was always very communicative via text for appointments. she also imbues you with knowledge to maintain your hair. I had dandruff issues and I am indebted to her because she gave me the information to fix it with no additional cost. Prices are beyond affordable, I always try to leave a large tip because other salons do not even do half the work and ask for more. She did full wash, deep condition and twist within 2 hours so very efficient and they were small twist. DeMiracle is a sweetheart and I am so sad to have moved down south.

I recently got a wash, condition, and braid appt with Princess. Def did an excellent job and very gentle on my head. She also recommended a few things for me to do to keep up with my hair. I will be returning again soon and referring all my natural friends here in the future!

I have gotten my hair done by DeMiracle twice so far, and both experiences have been amazing! She is professional, pleasant, respectful, accommodating, and good at what she does. Her products have great fragrances that create a spa-like feel. I love my cut, twists, and twist-outs. I received compliments on my hairstyle even the day she was about to re-do it (3 weeks later)!
