Wow! The food was amazing here. Everything was perfect from the French Onion Soup to the Octopus and Chicken with Creme Mushrooms. Top it off with Chocolate mousse with Vanella ice cream and everything was perfect. Only downside is the smoke throughout the restaurant. They try for a non smoking area but it's right next to the smoking area and we are in the Middle East where everyone seems to still smoke.

An excellent brasserie located in the Four Seasons hotel. The food is thoughtfully prepared and tasty. The standout dish for me was the duck breast and my wife enjoyed the sea bass the most, but everything was on point. This was the only place in Jordan (restaurant or shop) we found that actually offered gluten free bread, and it was very good. The service was attentive and friendly. The space itself is very chic and modern, I edpecially like their choice of light fixtures. Overall it was excellent.

All the staff were fantastic with a beautiful attitude, always ready and very professional… We ordered two cocktails as an aperitif with a very fresh tasty burrata to share with a top dressing. The first courses were Ravioli and Tagliolini....simply perfect!! Delicious, cooked to perfection, super tasty and beautifully plated. Then we received a tiramisu and a millefeuille from the restaurant...a real pleasure!!! Highly recommended 10/10

Even the cold appetizers, such as salads, took an unusually long time to be brought to the table, which dampened the overall dining experience. On a positive note, the Steak Frites I ordered was a true delight. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. Paired with the crispy and seasoned fries, it was an absolute winner. The dish showcased the culinary prowess of the kitchen, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting La Capitale. While the food itself was satisfactory, the slow service was a significant drawback. However, if you have the patience to wait for your order, the Steak Frites alone makes it worth a visit.

The ambiance and decor are wonderful, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. The food was a little underwhelming in fairness. We went with high expectations given the stellar reviews. But it was okay, not great. The Slamon was very well cooked and tasted delicous, and the house fries. Everything else was not upto the mark.

This is my favourite restaurant in Amman - it has its special atmosphere, excellent food and very good service. There is a very good varieties of drinks and selection of vines that compliments their exclusive dishes. Also every 2-3 month they invite Chefs from different countries to share their experiences- so you always have a possibility to try new cuisines . Very highly recommend to visite while in Jordan 👍🏻

We went there without reservation and gladly there was a place. So as a start you should reserve before you go just to make sure you find your spot. The service was amazing, the waiters were professional and polite. One of the waiters suggested soup of the day (asparagus soup) we tried it it was so delicious. They surprised us with the salmon with cream cheese spoons to try and it was delicious. We also tried their pasta with seafood and it was somehow good, but could be better. The interiors are amazing! Well done and Good luck!

Absolute best French restaurant I’ve been to in the world. Rama was our server and she was incredible. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure the next time we are in Amman!! If you’re looking for spectacular food with incredible ambiance, this is the place.

Great first experience at La Capitale. My date and I enjoyed the ambience and the beautifully decorated dining hall. The food was incredible. We started with the beef carpaccio and the Pithivier De Chasse (puff pastry with chicken and mushrooms). For the main course we enjoyed the Steak Frites with whipped potatoes and the creamy spinach. The Mille-Feuille for dessert is a must.

I have been wanting to go to La Capitale since its opening and even though the opportunity came many a time yet something would turn up and I would not go. So when our ritual of eating lunch out on the second day of rid came, I immediately reserved a place. I have to say the decor and ambiance is lovely. Moreover I have to give credit to the management for having a very decent space for non smokers. To me this was the perfect restaurant. The service was also excellent and the starters were delicious. As this is a French restaurant, I ordered duck l'orange, so did two other guests. The waiter asked how I wanted it cooked and I said, there is only one way to cook duck, it has to be at most Medium. I was so happy when the dish arrived and unfortunately it was over cooked. I asked for the head maitre to come to our table and I showed him my dish and he agreed and apologized and immediately said he will bring me another one. I was so taken aback by the dish that I said no need as I have list my appetite. He very professionally apologized again and when we finished they furnished our table with desert as a compliment. In all honesty, the guests who ordered steak had a great meal and the starters were lovely, our duck was just the one that was terrible. All in all, the experience was a very good one and had the duck been cooked correctly I would have given it a 5 star. Mind you had the head maitre not been so excellently professional, I would have given it 2 or at most 3 star as Duck l'orange is a signature dish in a French restaurant and they should not have messed it up. The price is as expected in such a high end restaurant and the whole experience could be outstanding.

Fantastic! Service is excellent. Food is everything you would expect from the restaurant that is regularly rated the best in all of Jordan. The escargot was divine the lamb was sinfully decadent. Dessert could have been better (although it was still fairly good). The wine selection was good for Jordan, and some suprisingly good wine was available by the glass. Don't go here for "value." The bill is steep but if you enjoy good food then this absolutely worth every penny.
