Beautiful hotel in the heart of an even more beautiful city. The service is great, the staff is wholesome and the facilities are just enough for a cozy and pleasant experience. The food at Breakfast and Dinner are very well catered to allergies and high quality! I never felt hungry nor uncomfortable during my many stays here.

My experience was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The hotel staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and its unique charm as a converted old warehouse added to its character. However, there were certain aspects of my stay that left me less satisfied. The breakfast experience was a letdown. A major issue was the lack of labels or indications of allergies on the food items, making it difficult to know what ingredients were present. This lack of information raised concerns about potential allergens and the ability for guests to make informed choices. For example, I mistakenly picked up what I thought was an almond croissant, only to find it contained ham and cheese. Furthermore, the quality of the breakfast was inconsistent. I ordered scrambled eggs, but they were significantly overcooked, resulting in a less-than-appetizing dish. This inconsistency made it challenging to anticipate the quality of other food items. Another disappointing aspect was the oversight regarding safety precautions. While using the self-serve bean-to-cup coffee machine, I accidentally burned my hand as the cups were placed directly on a hot plate without any warning signs. This lack of precautionary measures is concerning, especially considering my 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Proper warnings and safeguards should be in place to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Lastly, I would like to mention that the car parking fees at the Arsenal Hotel were expensive. I was charged 25 euros for parking my car, which I found to be excessive. While convenient parking is often expected at hotels, the cost in this case seemed disproportionately high. It would be beneficial for the hotel management to reevaluate their parking fees to provide a more reasonable and competitive option for guests. Despite these issues, the Arsenal Hotel still holds potential with its unique setting and welcoming staff. Addressing the concerns regarding food labeling, consistency, safety precautions, and parking fees would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. With these improvements, the Arsenal Hotel has the opportunity to become a truly outstanding accommodation option in Dreft, Netherlands.

Location was amazing! Right on the canals in a quiet corner of old town Delft, it was only a 5 minute walk to the train station and a 5-10 minute walk to all the sights in Delft. The rooms were so nice, and the building was so cool. Very clean, and the staff were so nice. The king canal-side room was bigger than expected. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area, especially if they don't have or intend to use a car.

Wonderful historical building. Ideally located (close to centre but not as busy). Surprisingly well restyled to allow for very decent Rooms that are modern and comfortable. Excellent bed. One minor detail: when busy, breakfast buffet tends to be a bit chaotic. If you come by car: make sure to reserve parking space.

This was okay! Good: People were nice, the location is very central, and I think probably the hotel is the best that delft has to offer. Bad: While the checkin/breakfast is nicely decorated, the rooms themselves were a little bit like a school field trip room with little decor effort, and the breakfast wasn’t great (some basic pastries and muesli, you can order average eggs and bacon for no cost, or very average pancakes for a small cost). You can tell they’re new and still grappling with organisation - breakfast was massively full and they didn’t welcome you/ check room numbers, and the reception queues were always too long (2 people working an empty bar but 1 person working at reception with 5 customers waiting isn’t efficient)

Location suburb. Parking was free for us, so that is great. Amazing old building in the old part of Delft. Inside the hotel the design is perfect, really one of the best I have seen with all the old building details still visable. Rooms are clean, and everything seems to be new and working except one of the two elevators. The two receptionists at the front desk where very friendly. The breakfast was great. The lady at the breakfast was very friendly, and the cleaner lady when I left the room was also very friendly. One downside was that the night guard that opens the hotel was not really friendly. We have seen him when we left to the party and we saw him when we came back, after that we went out to the bars in Delft, when I came back alone around 01:00 the door would not open and I was required to ring the intercom (the room key card will not open the front door). When he came it took quite some time, and he walked very slowly to the sensor to open the door and did not greet me, and I did not feel very welcome. After i could enter the hallway I asked him if the document that was printed (and stuck to the door) with instructions that guests have to ring the intercom was there before when we arrived around 23:30 and he said "no it was not there" and he said nothing more. If we would search for a place to stay I would really recommend this hotel but be warned that when you arrive after the front door closes at 2300 you have to ring the intercom on the outside of the building.

The building is very beautiful and situated perfectly with both the station and the city centre very nearby. Our superior room was very clean but smaller than expected and pretty sparse in amenities, the heating could not properly be controlled in our room, spoiling our night rest, the staff was responsive but sadly wasn't able to resolve the problem. Also, the breakfast was underwhelming. The location is certainly worth the visit, but given our experience, it doesn't really warrant the price of the room we paid.

The location, the staff, the ambience and the rooms were all absolutely fantastic. The architecture who designed the 2 bedroom floors deserves an award for keeping the corridors light and bright, with the beams on show, and the bedrooms airy and sophisticated whilst also comfortable. We will without any doubt be back to stay within the next year!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. However, the room service is disappointing. On two occasions, we returned to the hotel after 4pm to find that the room had not been cleaned.
