Today Bought food (picked Up) , where the first shock was 60% price difference in online and reality 😳😳.. The excuse we Got is “Please note our website is NOT updated For the same and restaurant menu card is up to date with prices at restaurant itself” and thus we as customer need to pay their backlogs on website.😡😡. Next shock was the moment we tasted the food at home with Burnt out NAANS , tasteless chicken karahi (saw first time a chicken karahi like that in past 30 years)… Sour Daal makhni (which was Brown lentils without any butter (makhan)) … also paneer gravy was very sour in taste and even my child didn’t eat it.. And the excuse we got for this and especially BURNT OUT Black Naans was “DUE TO HOT WEATHER TANDOOR WAS HOTTER THAN NORMAL AND THUS LED TO THIS” , which is in a way Very funny 😄 😂😂 . On whole sole very BAD first experience with Whatsapp India and will Never recommend to ANYONE ANYTIME..

What a wonderful experience we had at What's Up India! We ordered the broccoli fritters, which we're still talking about and drooling over today, the chicken biryani which was absolutely delicous, but ultimately too spicy for us (in their defense, we were definitely warned about the spice level, but thought we could handle it.. we thought wrong! Lol) and the palak paneer, which was smooth and packed with flavor! We also enjoyed the mango lassi drinks, but would have preferred them chilled, rather than at room temperature. Yes the food was amazing, but the distinguishing factor for us was certainly the stellar service. The owner was so kind and welcoming and most importantly, there was Jay (Mr. Witty) who was absolutely hilarious and most definitely the highlight of our night. There needs to be more good humored people in this world like you, my friend! Our meal was topped off with a complimentary palate cleansing refreshment of what seemed to be candied spices - really generous, unique and surprisingly tasty! Overall, just a first class dining experience. We were really lucky to dine here on such short notice and would most definitely return.

Overall verdict is below average. Just shy of average. The chicken biryani was ordered mild, but came so spicy that my wife couldn't eat it. The butter chicken has no special flavour. The service was unorganized, wrong drinks given to the wrong person with a two person party. Twice. Cutlery was expected to be reused from the appetizer to the main course. Food was placed on the side of the table, in stead of making room and place them at the center. We had the Aloo Tikka Chaat, which was really tasty. It had a nice flavour profile, good crunch and the saus on top of it worked well with a combination of sweet, heat and sour. The waiter did notify us when ordering that most butter chicken in The Netherlands are sweet, and that this dish is not. However, the flavour profile was too peppery. The dish did not have the creamy and velvety taste and structure. Also, the butter chicken did not come with rice. Which is something that we are not used to at all. In pretty much every Indian restaurant, rice comes with the butter chicken, or at least a naan. The biryani rice seemed overcooked, as the grains were mushy, and not separated. Overpowering flavour of koriander, and too much heat. The complimentary yoghurt that came with the dish did not enough to balance out the heat. It also had a little too big chunks of raw onion in it. As we were not able to finish the dish, we requested to take the rest away, but were told that we had to pack it ourselves. The waiter brought some containers and foil to pack the food. This is a first to this date. Kind of a bummer to put your food in a container. Especially as the restaurant also provides take away orders. The food was OK, experience decent. Not a place we would be visiting again when we compare it to other Indian restaurant we have been to.

It’s a fancy Indian restaurant. We ordered Garlic naan with Chicken Hyderabadi, Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken. We liked Garlic Naan and Chicken Hydrabadi gravy and tandoori very much. The biryani was also quite good. Small tips for everyone if you ever order biryani go for too less spicy level because even normal spice level is too spicy. My experience was really good for my birthday but felt a bit expensive.

Food is decent, but do not except specifics in what you have ordered. We ordered Kadhai Paneer(assuming it will come in a dark reddish gravy with diced capsicum n onions) they served us with a basic Paneer sabzi with some chopped onions. Starter Aalu corn tikki was good and Naan was super awesome. Veg Biryani was okayish. Gulab Jamuns were the canned one’s you get in Haldiram tin.

Naan bread was burnt Tika masala had no flavour. It was sweet even tho we called and asked if it was savory and they told us yes. The chicken felt undone and raw and even burnt. Worst indian food i ever ate in my life dont understand the hight rating.

Lovely restaurant! Great food for a good price. They had very friendly staff who took their time to explain the menu for us and gave us great recommendations. And they definitely had the most creative way of serving food during the covid-19 crisis that I have seen yet. They've got a robot riding around the place to bring you your food. Would recommend to go and would definitely go back when I ever visit Rotterdam again.

Had a good experience ordering from here. Very quick and even called us when the food was ready😊. The portion sizes were good and the food was absolutely delicious. The little salads on the side were a very nice surpize ❤! Overall very satisfied and will definitely order again from them or go dine in if and when possible.

Reservations made at what's up India are not honoured. To expand (after Dinesh's response) 1. We received a reservation confirmation after booking via Google. A day before the reservation, you say it's not available - That's not respecting the reservations made online. 2. You message a day before suggesting alternative time slots - Providing a lunch time slot on a working day is not helpful. Nor is providing time slots as early as 5pm or as late as 8pm. 3. And lastly, no apologies or a genuine wish to find alternative working date/times. Responses such as 'Not possible'. I expect better customer service, especially if it's the owner of the restaurant. 4. I tried to make another booking with 10 days advance notice and that was cancelled by WhatsUp India without any reason.

Great food for a very good price. A lot of dishes to choose from. Quality was great and spiciness was adjustable to our liking. Waiter took his time with us and was more than willing to explain the dishes we weren’t familiar with. Will come again and I highly recommend this place. If you go by car, make sure to park in one of the garages nearby since parking on the street is expensive throughout Rotterdam.

⭐ Dinesh and son Jai ensures that the guests are well taken care of and they attend to each and every detail themselves adding a personal touch to it. I really appreciate it. ⭐ They're true to recreating authentic Indian food and will not compromise on authenticity. The greatest suggestion to this is the smoky flavour on the naan. Also enjoyed the traditional flavours from the subcontinent on the mutton biriyani Must try : mutton biriyani, mango lassi 💡 Dining area can be increased / space utilisation can be worked upon. Thank you Dinesh & Jai for making our experience memorable 🙏🏼

We are experienced diners, but wow, 🤩 this Indian restaurant is the BEST in town. The food (Broccoli fritters, Onion Bhaji, Dal, Chefs Prawns 🍤) were terrific! Also, Mr Dinesh and his team are the kindest people and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. जी शुक्रिया 🙏 (Thank you) and until we meet again. ❤️

We had a fantastic experience with What's Up India and will definitely be coming back! The interior of the restaurant is great, the terrace is nice and the staff is very friendly. Only drawback for us was that we received plastic plates and cutlery, which felt very cheap. However, the food made this up by being simply superb; it felt as genuine Indian cuisine with a perfect amount of spice.

We ordered regular and garlic naan as appetizer, it was so amazing! Freshly baked in clay oven (Tandoor) and served hot, really amazing. We had chicken and lamb hyderabadi as the main course, both were absolutely delicious. Although it could be better decorated. The waiters and waitress paid lots of care and attention to us, were really kind and gave us warm and lovely hosting. The owner of the restaurant is really a nice guy, he was walking around the table, taking the orders, explaining the dishes, talking and laughing with all the customers. We were served as home guests not as just customers which I believe originated from Indian beautiful culture. Overall, we had a great experience there and recommend What's Up India to anyone who wants to enjoy great Indian dishes and hospitality.

Pleasantly surprised by the food. The staff is very hard working, so don't expect the fancy dressed kind of waiters. The restaurant decoration is a bit odd, but that's a matter of taste. Dinesh the owner is fun to joke around with and so are the other staff members. The food taste is definitely not adapted to Western less spicy standards, it's very Indian! Something you'll hardly find abroad. Everything is fresh and cooked by a caring kitchen staff. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who knows genuine Indian food or people who want to taste proper Indian food. I'll be happy to return here every time.

(Translated by Google) For me this restaurant is the best Indian restaurant in Rotterdam. A wide range of dishes as well as interesting desserts. The food tastes great and is driven to the table by the in-house "contactless waiter". At least something positive that Corona has done :) The hygiene concept is also going great right now. The boss and his team are very nice and, above all, very hospitable. Ate there twice during our stay and even received a dessert on the house at the end.

I took my Unilever team to What’s Up India for a team dinner. I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. The owner took care of our group personally - he made a selection of dishes for us and no joking, each was spectacular! Everyone was complementing the food. Ever since I have been recommending this place to all my friends. I will make sure to come back soon again Regards to What’s Up India team, we love you!

Dining at What's Up India was a great experience. The owner and the staff were friendly and helpful and made sure you felt welcome. The food was fantastic. As an apetiser we had the sweet garlic chicken and the chicken tandoori. Both were perfect and I strongly recommend to try these. The main course very tasty and they had Indian desserts. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful atmosphere, very hospitable staff, gorgeous delicious food! Going to come back here at least a couple of times a month. For vegetarians absolute heaven, the menu has one full page of starters and even two full pages of main courses. For every dish you get the chance to choose how spicy and salty you want it made. All the reviews that mentioned the broccoli fritters were proved completely right; amazing!!!

One of the best Indian restaurants in rotterdam. Friendly service and host is very worldly 5/5. Food is 5/5 I would return. Jumbo prawns are great starter. Desert is worth keeping space for. Interior is a bit over the top but the food makes up for it!

We had dinner here with a group of 6. It's a relatively small but very cozily decorated restaurant. The staff was very friendly and patient while we inquired about the menu items. We ordered different types of starters and curry as main dishes combined with plain, butter and garlic naan breads. We also went for the option to have three types of rice to go with the curry. Everything was flavorful and spiced deliciously. The naan bread was mouth wateringly good and each curry was amazing! Butter chicken and lamb korma are great options for those who love mild curry. Ordering peppers on the side allows those who love extra spiciness to add to taste. Definitely worth revisiting to try out other dishes!

Really really good Indian food! I went here twice and both times I was served delicious food! The first time I ordered Chicken tikka masala. It was a bit too spicy for me tbh as I was not able to taste any of my food no more, but that was a problem of mine. Besides the tikka masala, I ordered some naan. It was soft and delicious! The second time I ordered Lentil / Dal Soup. The Dal soup was my absolute fave! The service was also excellent! The staff was very nice and I love that they make the reservations a bit more personal for their guests by putting little cards on the table reading: 'What's Up India welcomes *name of guest*' (in my case my own name). This is the place to be in order to eat some great Indian food! I love this place!

Make reservations as it would be close to impossible to get a seat unless there are no-shows. The Biryani was good and the meat was tender. The sweet lassi is nice. We noted in the menu that no outside drink is allowed, even water. This was a bit of a downer for us as this is our first time encountering such a policy.

Food is good. Well marinated paneer and great samosas. Menu is very “europeanised”! I would love to see a few genuine authentic dishes which one could find in India. Or a speciality in either North/South Cuisine! Idli or Thalis… more like this. Slightly pricy however overall great and would recommend as staff are also very friendly.

The best indian food that you I could get from my authentic indian food tasting experience. I ordered chicken biryani and paneer curries and some sides, I could say "OUTSTANDING and AUTHENTIC". Everything is perfectly prepared. The food is made with a complete blend of love and care.Kudos to the chefs, keep up and continue the excellent work. I would recommend to try it in this restaurant "first and foremost". I tried indian food from Den haag, Amsterdam, Groningen, Rotterdam, Eindhoven. We regularly get a takeout or go here for dinner. It is a great place with lovely delicious food and super friendly staff. I tend to always go for the samosas which are just devine. The biryani and all of the chicken dishes are also great. Portions are plentiful. Simply put the best Indian in town, probably most of holland. Go and spend your money here. You won't regret it.

Best Indian restaurant in town! After reading all the good reviews I thought this would be the best place to introduce my parents to the wonderful cuisine that India has to offer. And I was absolutely right! The food is sooo good! We have shared our starters (lollipop chicken, specials shrimps from the chef, samosas) and they all tasted fantastic. Then it was on to the curries, Madras and Chicken tikka massala with fresh garlic naans which all were, as we Dutch say, so good you could eat your fingers along with it. The service is also outstanding. All staff are very friendly and helpful and truly make you feel welcome. I will gladly return here to try out the rest of their menu.

The owner of the place was really friendly and welcoming. The appetizers consisting of samosas and chicken lollipop were quite good. The Chicken Korma was delightful but I didn’t enjoy the lamb madras so much. Also although we had a recommendation to get the egg fried rice; I do not really recommend it. The cheese Naan was too buttery that I couldn’t really enjoy the bread itself. I had quite higher hopes but in general I enjoyed the vibe and the evening.

Terrible service - Very unfortunate since it was one of my favorite restaurants. I booked through the Fork on Friday night and after receiving the confirmation just normally showed up at the restaurant only to be rudely told by the waiter that they are not in any way involved with the Fork and they did not see our reservation. Then after asking what options we have we were told that if we want a table, we will be put at the end of the waiting list which was more than 1h long. I understand overbooking can happen, but dealing with it this way will for sure make you loose loyal customers. After not one apology, we obviously ended up leaving and had to deal with the struggle of looking for another restaurant on a busy and rainy Friday night.
