The host was terrific, very nice and helpful, even funny. The cheese was delicious, mostly! Lol could be more wine! I did get way less wine on the 2nd of 2 pours, so I'm biased, but 3 pours for that time-frame seems more suitable. Overall, glad we picked this place, bought several cheeses to take home!

I am a big fan of Dutch cheese but knew very little about it, so this great experience was an eye-opener for me. Rory made the whole event so much fun, and it was really social too. Lots of lovely people, some really lovely wines and a lot of laughter. So glad we found this and went along. Recommended!

Absolute fabulous evening and I have no hesitation in recommending this activity for visitors and Amsterdam expats. Fabulous wine and cheese, company and setting. I learnt a lot about Dutch cheese and there was an abundance of tasters! Thank you Rory for this introduction to Dutch cheese and organic wine tasting.

Host was very fun and entertaining, and we got a good sense of the overview of making Gouda cheese. We sampled quite a bit and tasted local beer also made with Whey. Sat at a table with 3 other couples, two from Turkey and on from Australia. The cheese of course, was fantastic and paired well with sauces and beer or wine. Overall a fun experience.

Wonderful experience! Not only tasty but also educational. I enjoyed the different variety of cheeses that we got to taste. The setting was perfect, in a beautiful, well stocked store. Rory and the store owner were super friendly and knowledgeable and we had a nice group of people, some locals and some expats, which made for an interesting conversation. I can't wait to take our guests to another event. Highly recommended!

Would highly recommend for visitors who want to stay away from the overtouristed areas and tourist cheese tastings. Being all organic is a big plus. Cheese was delicious and tasting was informative. Highly recommend!

Great fun! Plenty of very tasty cheese and wine, and a lively mixture of people. Rory the host put everyone at their ease (and kept our glasses topped up) and Marcel the shop-owner provided loads of expert knowledge. It was held in a wine/cheese shop so an ideal setting. I live in Amsterdam and would have written this off as "something for the tourists" but I was totally wrong - a great evening for both tourists and locals!

This experience is a must if you want to try a wide range of dutch cheese. It's a genuine and intimate setting and Rory really makes everyone welcome. Would recommend for other foodies that don't just want to be on your average cheese tasting with all the other tourists

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience with Marcel. We learned a lot and enjoyed all that Marcel shared. I love the fact that Marcel works direct through the dairy farmers and all the products are organic. We really loved that it wasn’t “touristy” which made the experience more pure.

We had an amazing time on the cheese tastings. Since there were only two of us, we went to the nearby park and made a picnic under the clear sky.

We really enjoyed the Dutch cheese tasting! There was a variety of Dutch cheeses to taste, and the very knowledgeable hosts educated us on each type. There was plenty of wine as well, but the cheese was the star of the show! Loved the venue, and the company. Highly recommend.

The cheese tasting was a lovely way to spend the afternoon and meet new people. The hosts were very welcoming. Easy to get to by metro from the center of Amsterdam, and few other stores we checked out in the area.
