One
of
those
places
you'd
need
to
visit
if
you're
planning
a
trip
here,
no
questions.
Knowing
that
we
were
going
to
be
staying
for
a
week,
we
knew
we
wanted
to
visit
the
Rijksmuseum,
so
we
bought
everything
we
needed
in
advance.
I'd
advice
to
pop
down
here
slightly
earlier
because
the
queues
were
like
30
minutes
long,
or
perhaps
just
add
that
time
to
your
stay
if
you
have
reservations
elsewhere.
We
thought
two
to
three
hours
would
be
enough
to
see
everything
but
it
took
over
four,
this
was
due
to
waiting
for
other
onlookers
and
if
you
really
wanted
to
see
what
was
on
offer.
Getting
here
wasn't
hard
nor
confusing,
they
pretty
much
had
transport
sorted
for
those
who
wanted
to
come
visit.
Firstly
you
could
take
the
trams
(2,
5,
and
12)
here
which
passes/stops
nearby
the
museum,
you
could
so
use
the
buses
(347,
357
and
397)
and
the
other
way
would
be
coaches.
I'm
sure
there
are
other
trams
and
buses
you
can
take
to
here
too.
The
building
itself
was
rather
nice
i'd
say
so
myself,
seeing
it
was
built
in
the
1880s,
you'd
understand
why.
It's
such
a
massive
structure,
larger
than
i
expected
and
has
the
look
of
the
time
it
was
built.
They
do
have
places
where
you
can
purchase
refreshments
which
is
needed
if
you
plan
to
stay
for
a
longer
period
of
time.
Come
the
end
of
the
tour
of
the
place,
some
were
more
tired
than
others
but
we
all
enjoyed
the
visit
at
least.
Highly
recommend.
