Great wine bar. We had the Italian tasting menu which had 4 half glasses. The waiters know the wines well and there are a lot of options for wines by the bottle as well. We had the 3 cheese board and the 3 charcuterie board - they were nice,they could have had a heavier tasting sausage to pair with the red wine. Apparently there is gluten free bread but it didn’t come. Great atmosphere, would recommend this spot

My wife and I went here for Valentine's Day and to celebrate 25 years together. The decor is very tasteful and modern. They have a huge wine collection to compliment the food you order which is tapa style. We really enjoyed all the dishes we got, the wine and the cocktails. My only gripe would be the seating. You sit very close to others and can hear other conversations. The staff were very pleasant. Sublime from start to finish and highly recommended.

What an experience. Great service, fantastic wines and high quality 'charcouterrie'. The cheeses, meats and breads were all very well paired with the wines and the host was extremely enthusiastic which made it all the more exciting. I felt welcomed from the minute I stepped foot in the building.

I loved the cheese plate and the great selection of wines. So much we went twice and I’d gone more if I had stayed longer in Amsterdam! 😅😋 the escargot was also quite delicious… great service and beautiful decoration; I might visit as soon as I get back to the city 😄

I expected a top notch place but I was a bit disappointed as the service wasn’t great. However, there’s a variety of wine and champagne with good suggestion of cheese.

It’s a perfect place for wine tasting with your friends on Friday. Those snacks and breads are so delicious and fresh. Staffs are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is perfect for chatting. Highly recommended and don’t miss out!

Had a very welcoming afternoon here, the guys running the place are really friendly and knowledgeable about wine. Good value, really tasty food and a good selection of quality wines. We sat at the bar and had loads of fun. Would definitely return..

Came here while on vacation and this place was fantastic. An astounding selection of wines and many rare ones that are even available by the glass. The decor inside is really well done and feels upscale and cozy at the same time. Have to give a special shout out to the lender who was tending the bar that night. He could not have been friendlier or lore helpful in selecting wines according to my tastes. This will be a place that I visit every time I go to Amsterdam. I highly recommend it.

Omg. As a wine lover, this place is amazing. This is the best place I found in Amsterdam. Check the Australian wine list. The two owners Sven and Johnny are very knowledgeable. Let them choose for you! Our cheese and charcutertie board was delicious!

We entered and realized they weren’t open yet. But welcomed and seated all the same. Grilled cheese and steak tartare were perfectly sized and delicious. The two gentlemen working answered all our questions and explained the wines perfectly.

Really excellent wine bar that offers a very large range of wines by the glass and tasting flights. Lovely atmosphere and great advice from the knowledgable owners. If you are in Amsterdam and wine is your thing, this is the place to go.

Visited these great guys every day I was in Amsterdam! Wonderful selection of wines for all palates, and great small plates cooked to order. If you've only got a short time in Amsterdam, be sure to put a visit to Johnny and Sven at the top of your list!

Great menu with an amazing wine list. Especially remarkable the large offer of wine by the glass and the possibility of ordering a tasting tray with different options. The service was great and knowledgeable, you can let them recommend your next wine. The food menu is enough to have a nibble while drinking, but it doesn't aim to be a substantial meal.

Run by two wine enthusiasts who will happily share their knowledge about the carefully selected menu (best fine wine bar list in the world award 2021). Good value for money. Centrally located. Nice atmosphere.

Honestly wish I’d taken more photos to do this review justice. The food, the wine and the service were exceptional. So much so that we made sure to shake hands with the owner and thank him personally. Do not let the 4.5 star fool you. It does not do it enough justice. This is a 5 star. Everything from the wine, the vibe, the service to the food were all faultless. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Quite an expensive place but a great range of wines and some fantastic nibble style food too. Two of us shared one meat and one cheese platter and were SO full, we couldn’t finish it. We had chosen Bordeaux wine flights (approx €20) and the staff paired 3 beautiful cheeses with the wine. I’d love to see an Australian wine section on the list too. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu. I’d recommend a visit here.

After a long walk in the city center we discovered this fantastic wine bar in a small street next to Dam square. They have a great selection of wine by the glass, all very friendly priced. Me and my wife enjoyed the champagne flight & the pork belly and both were great. Friendly staff with lots of knowledge about the wines. Can't wait to visit again. Central but in a quiet street. The bar is cozy and relaxed staff is friendly and helpful. If you don't know what to pick you can do a sort of a tasting for a really reasonable price and you get 3 glasses of the same category, like bubbles, white wine, Reisling etc. A big selection of different bubbles and wines, the bites are also good. Would definitely go back.

Great wine! We had the sparkling and rosé tastings and they were incredible! Staff was mighty friendly. Would've loved some less mainstream poppy music but it might've been just the first song I heard ;). Still expected other music in this very nice setting.

This place is a gem. So glad we randomly found it walking through Amsterdam. Johnny, who served us, was on point and extremely knowledgeable on all wines. The vibe is relaxing and sophisticated. Johnny took his time to explain the flights we ordered, never rushed and was genuinely excited about his craft. What a great experience! Highly recommend visiting.

The absolute best wine bar you will go to in Amsterdam. I have been to many wine bars across the world and this one has some bottles (and by the glass) selections that will make you glad you visited. Awarded with one of the best selections on the planet!!! You can tell them your tasting mood and they will pick out the perfect glass. This is a wine nerds paradise. High end wine selection at reasonable pricing and the wine ‘talent’ to keep you informed of your choices. Also, probably the friendliest staff you will find in this town. They get to know you, get to know what you like, and make you feel at home even though you are thousands of miles away from home.

Limited ambience in the dark, anonymous corridor of a bar, but the wine list is fantastic. I liked in particular their ‘trio’ of half glasses in tasting combinations. Snacks and bar food were surprisingly good. The seeds of a great venue but somewhat flawed if you are not seated at the bar.
