Cannibale Royale is a great restaurant serving burgers, steaks and spareribs! The staff was very kind and accommodating. We ordered a few starters, a main dish each and three side dishes to share. All of the dishes were amazing I especially liked their spareribs a real recommendation! The sweet potato fries were delicious as wel. We also shared a big cocktail together with the four of us, very much worth the price! It was also very fun to share it :)

Service was great, really attentive staff that have a genuine smile on their faces. --> Food was good, a touch dry for my liking. We ordered ribs and burger and both could have done with more sauce/dressing. The ribs came with some sauces on the same, but you'll agree it's not the same as ribs being cooked with the dressing. Dipping the meat later on doesn't have the same effect. Apart from this we were also surprised the ribs and steak didn't come with any fries or salad. It's just meat on the plate with a little sprinkle of onions. Ofcourse you can order them as sides, but again, not what we expected. --> The place also looked a little dirty. I get the 'scruffy feel & ambience', but it shouldn't make the place look run down. I think it's time the decor and interiors get a good scrub and sprucing up. I'd still recommend the food if you're in the area, but there are places with better ribs and burgers.

We had dinner here. It's better to reserve the table in advance which is very easy on their website. The Tomahawk steak is super nice. It's tender and juicy as the picture you seen. Staff is also super nice and helpful. If you are steak lover I recommend here is the good place in Amsterdam.

The restaurant is located in such a quiet street, outside the focus of the most turist. If we did not know its position, we would never search here for it. Perfect beer, tasty food and friendly staff. Something what would be pity to miss.

We (2 person) ordered the 'Plateau de Cannibale for 2' and we absolutely loved it! The plate has sausage, ribs, pork belly, roast chicken, garlic bread, pickle and onions. The portion is just nice for 2 person. Every component on the plate is delicious. I love the theme, the ambience, the service of this place. The price is totally justified. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who loves good meat!

Amazingly delicious food! The burger was succulent and flavourful. The best burger I’ve had in a while. The only downside was the fries were slightly too salty but nothing you can’t tell the waiter to fix as the actual fries were delicious, especially the sweet potato fries. The bar is very nice and the atmosphere lovely. 100% recommend to come here - 4.5/5

Came here for dinner to get some steak. We got the rib eye and the flat iron steak with fries, sweet potato fries and corn. The corn was really good and well flavoured. The steak was tender and cooked very well. It’s a shame they don’t have many sauce options but the chimichurri was nice. Total cost of meal was around €70 which is reasonable. Sweet potato fries were good and portions were good too.

You can't go wrong with your food order here because everything tastes so amazing!! We ordered chicken wings, french cheese with garlic bread and sweet potato fries and everything was delicious!!! We were so full with just these snack that we could not try their burgers and ribs! But definitely going back to try them! Highly recommended!

Best place I ate at in Amsterdam. Highly recommend going here. In fact it was so good I came back a second time before departing. I sat at the bar but I would recommend making a reservation because they where very busy and I saw a lot of people get turned away. The staff are friendly, upbeat, and provided some great recommendations. The steak tar-tar was amazing! Great vibes! Easy 5stars!

This place was recommended to me so many times and I never went to check it out. I wish I had gone earlier, the meat is hands down amongst the best meat I've had in NL. The platter for 2 is enough for 3 (the ribs literally fell off the bone) and the deep fried cauliflower is amazing! 10/10 recommended and will be going again soon

The beef is reaaaaally taste, perfect tender and done as asked for. Ribs have a very aromatic taste which is nice but didn’t match my palate. It’s a bit of the pricey side IMO. Two people lunch and one drink: €50+

Conveniently located near the city center. The place is very spacious and the ambiance is ideal for both couples and groups. The staff was pretty friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Good wine and beer selection. The highlight for me was the amazing burgers, though the ribs didn't quite match my taste. Overall, a delightful dining spot with a lot to offer.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! Staff very attentive. We loved it so much that we went there twice during our stay! Definitely recommend the chicken wing as starter! Very yummy!! 👏🏻

We visited Cannibale Royale in March. Great place with relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Nice staff. Food was also good. I liked creative design and location in the center. A lot visitors were Dutch people I think not by chance :) Will totally visit this place when will be in Amsterdam the next time

Unique atmosphere accompanied by tasteful food and very good service. Dilemma is to choose if food or atmosphere is better. We still remember the burger with the sweet potatoes... Don't miss it!

We had a pleasant dinner . There was a lot of food and excellent service. We found it a little too noisy! Our meat dish was tasty, but the chicken was not so good. Still, the pricing was reasonable and the sweet potato was excellent. Excellent Choice in Amsterdam!

Amazing steak place! We went there with no reservation on a decently busy night, staff were super friendly and managed to accommodate us. The atmosphere is very interesting, with some creepy “butcher”-esque vibes, very on theme with a steak house haha. Food was absolutely delicious - good sized portions, a variety of items on the menu, everything was very tasty. Highly recommend if you are looking for a steak house! Price was also ok, definitely a really good value experience.

Had the BEST ribs here!! Size was a bit smaller compared to what my friend had shown me from half a year ago, but still delicious. Service was slow for lunch when we first sat down - I was one of two tables. When more people started to come in, the servers were hard to track down.

A nice restaurant with great food! We ordered tartare, flat iron steak, sweet potatoes fries and the cauliflowers. Everything was excellent! Definitely will come back again!

Everything was amazing. The place was booked and they were able to accommodate 3 very hungry travelers. We sat at the bar, and both bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful - flirty and playful in their own way. The woman was spunky and the man was a gentle giant, both always making sure we were ok the whole way though. The portions were perfect. We didn't have room for dessert. We left happy and full.

We had a good evening here. The food was plentiful and the service was really good. It was a bit too loud for us and they could have done with more staff as the poor waitress was rushed off her feet. The meat platter we shared was good except the chicken was quite bland. However, the portion was good and price was good. Our biggest problem was that we had a couple of Old Fashioned cocktails which had hardly any taste or bite of bourbon to them which was quite disappointing. However, the Heineken on tap was good. We would go there again.

Wow. Not to be missed. Amazing spare ribs - huge and succulent serving; wonderful steak tartar; creative grilled corn with vanilla butter... macaroni and cheese... Only the French fries disappointed, as it was McDonald's style and not the thick potato chunks you can easily find elsewhere. Very friendly and efficient service. Highly and warmly recommended.

Came here 8 years ago and kept dreaming about returning. And got the chance last night and it didn’t disappoint! Shared the steak, grilled veggies, mac and cheese, and watermelon salad. It was a lot of food so I think I’d probably skip the Mac next time. The bill wasn’t too bad considering how much we got and two drinks! I think 40 euro a person. I vividly remember the burger being EXCEPTIONAL last time we were here. Definitely stop by, whether you’re visiting town or a local!

Arrived hungry, left very happy 😁😁. Great spicy ribs, lovely juicy pork belly, tender chicken w crispy skin. Lots of craft beer, including porter in the tasty dessert choclate sauce. Excellent, friendly and speedy service. Book in advance, it’s popular.

Really nice restaurant. We were lucky to get in without a reservation so definitely book ahead if you can. The staff were friendly and the food was lovely. The burgers and mains don’t come with fries so you have to add these on as extras. We added fries and Mac n cheese which were both really good. Would highly recommend.

We send it back, but the second plate was a little over medium. Apparently the cook did not understand the concept of well done... Also the medium steak was not really medium either... So to be proud to be a steak serving restaurant, you would need to be able to serve all styles, not only bloody or rare... So the overall score is 2 stars...
