The
room
was
booked
by
an
ambassador
status,
we
got
an
“upgraded”
room
as
the
hotel
was
under
major
renovations,
was
told
it’ll
go
all
the
way
till
March
2025
or
so.
It’s
was
like
a
maze
getting
to
the
room
towards
the
end,
a
good
4
to
5
turns
and
5mins
walk,
the
window
is
having
constructions
right
by
the
window
during
the
day
time.
Hotel
did
not
mention
anything
about
the
renovation,
when
we
arrived
at
the
hotel,
we
got
a
shock,
thinking
the
hotel
is
closed
down
or
not
in
operation,
as
the
entire
facade
is
under
construction
and
a
small
sign
on
the
temporary
fixture
saying
the
entrance
is
on
the
other
side,
we
would
not
have
a
shock
if
we
were
at
least
informed.
I
guess
in
a
business
sense,
the
hotel
is
not
telling
you
upfront
until
you
arrive.
Tried
calling
the
guest
services
number
for
the
past
3
days,
even
went
down
to
the
concierge
to
ask
for
a
toothbrush,
was
told
by
a
lady
that
she
will
have
the
get
the
security
to
unlock
the
cabinet
and
will
send
one
up,
but
to
no
avail,
had
to
call
on
the
third
day
to
literally
beg
to
have
it
send
up,
in
hindsight
I
should’ve
bought
one
outside
to
save
the
trouble.
Body
shower,
shampoo
was
totally
out,
had
to
use
bar
soap
as
the
room
service
simply
do
not
refill
it
for
a
couple
of
days,
eventually
had
to
keep
calling
the
guest
services
for
it,
only
to
see
it
on
the
corner
of
the
door
as
I
was
leaving
the
room,
no
knocking
on
the
door,
nothing.
As
today
is
the
last
night,
I’m
simply
washing
my
hair
with
shampoo
bubbles
from
the
overly
depleted
shampoo
bottle.
Vanity
kit
was
also
not
replenished
for
the
past
few
days
either.
Really
wonder
why
the
lack
of
replenishment,
and
even
when
you
call
the
number
or
go
down
to
the
concierge,
you
get
nothing.
The
lounge
has
so
limited
seating
that
you
feel
stress
sitting
for
a
bit
longer
as
others
were
standing
around,
literally
6
to
8
tables
max.
Location
wise
is
not
bad,
though
it’s
tuck
in
a
little
“alley”,
unlike
Kimpton
opposite,
which
is
more
accessible.
