Perfect hotel experience. We booked this hotel because of it's bird theme and it's proximity to a beautiful park. We were not prepared for the high quality of the suite, the attention to detail, and most importantly, the care of the staff in ensuring our experience was top-notch. We arrived at 3 pm, the normal check-in time. The host was very interested in our trip, made many helpful suggestions about places to go and things to see, including providing a notated map. When he found out our room was not yet ready for us, (we waited maybe 15 minutes) he did the following for us: a)Comp'd our breakfast b)gave us a coupon for complimentary drinks at the bar and c)provided a complimentary bottle of wine delivered to our room with a handwritten note of apology. This, in our opinion, was above and beyond compensation for a simple 15 minute wait (which we would have been more than happy to do even without an apology) and shows great dedication from the staff in ensuring an A++ experience for their guests. Their breakfast bar was top-notch with a delicious assortment for any possible breakfast taste. The hotel is beautiful with an amazing bird and nature motif to compliment their proximity to the park. We were able to rent bicycles directly from the hotel to explore the city, which made travel much easier. If we visit Amsterdam again, this hotel will be at the top of our list to book.

Pretty much everything was very nice at this hotel. The room was very clean. Hotel staff was very nice and even helped carry luggage up the stairs at the entrance while leaving. The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, A/C was not too powerful but still ok and worked. The part that I disliked was the price was a bit high although we booked like one day ahead.

Give credit where credit's due. Stayed here during Easter and despite that (Amsterdam and) the hotel were packed with people we still felt that the staff always had time for us. No matter if it was in the reception, where the young staff was really nice and attentive, or at the breakfast where the food was excellent. They all dellievred good quality service without being intrusive. A sign of class. Room really good, great bed, nice bathroom. The night curtains made the room absolutely dark. The whole hotel was quite and non-stressful. Awesome stay. 50 meters to the nice park. Close to airport bus 397. Great stay.

The place is clean and quiet , not far away from Amsterdam attractions yet away from the noise. Breakfast options are limited. However, the breakfast staff were very helpful and extra nice to kids. We booked the cosy room, which I don't recommend at all as it's extremely small, unless you're travelling solo.

The room and the restroom are large and confortable. Located in a calm area, but a few meters from Valeriusplein tram's station. Breakfast with a large variety, everything tasty! But the best part was the service! Everybody very kind, specially Max and Catherine at the bar!!! I would definetely stay again there!

If you are looking to get away from the red light district and the crowds of the city center, this is a fine option. Near the Vondel Park and a short 5 min walk to wonderful restaurants and shopping. Big clean modern rooms and a good breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly.

Park Plaza Hotel is situated in a charming neighborhood, exuding a local ambiance notably tranquil. While it's a bit distant from the city center, the hotel boasts a lovely environment adorned with abundant greenery. The on-site restaurant and bar are convenient, and the bathroom, though small, is elegantly renovated. Keep in mind there's no smart TV, limiting entertainment options to cable.

Staff are so polite and friendly. Always happy to help . Rooms are clean with coffee and variety of tea provided. Netflix and films are available to rent and watch. Did not try room service Location is lovely as it is right opposite Vondelpark which is beautiful

Absolutely wonderful hotel experience. The bird theme is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and the location is perfect. The only downside are the rooms are on the smaller side but that isn’t an issue if you plan to spend most of your days exploring the city. Loved the modern feel of the hotel and the amenities. Would highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, close to the Museum District and really convenient to use the trams! The room was a delight, breakfast options were delicious and an overall lovely atmosphere with lots of cute details throughout. It was lovely to walk through Vondelpark, the area really is wonderful! Really good value hotel for a city break!

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. It's a stone's throw away from Vondelpark, with plenty of dining options on your doorstep. The transport links were fantastic; it was only a short tram ride into the centre. We didn't get bikes out (you can hire from the hotel) but did decide to walk to the centre once, which took around 45 mins. The staff were friendly and helpful, and provided lots of information on our arrival. The rooms were clean and spacious, and a special mention goes to the bathroom, as the shower was one of the nicest I've used in a hotel! If you are dead set against staying in the centre, but want somewhere close enough and of a high standard, this is the hotel for you. Would definitely consider coming back if I were to visit Amsterdam again.

Quite an elegant hotel nestled away in amongst beautiful old mansions with a stunning backdrop known as Vondelpark. Upon arrival I was greeted with very friendly staff who let me check in early at no extra cost (obviously the room needs to be available, so this comment isn't a guarantee of early check ins). The room was tidy and comfortable, and come to think of it, I can't think of a nicer hotel room I've stayed in.

We stayed in the junior suite and it was luxuriously appointed. The room was spotless. The neighborhood is quiet with great restaurants and Vondelpark within walking distance.

The hotel is nicely located in a quiet street, close to the park, cosy cafes and restaurants. Tourist attractions and the busy city center is only some tram stops away. Staff was really nice and helpful, and the room was perfect for a couple of nights :) Breakfast doesn’t have the biggest selection, but has the essentials and a bit more. All in all had a great stay!

Great hotel, comfortable and cozy room, very clean. Good location - close enough to tourist stuff but slightly removed so you don't always feel like a tourist. There is a small strip with a few places to eat and buy food nearby. Rooms are small but that's Europe. I'd definitely stay here again.

I am disappointed with the service. - I was not given the room at the early check in. Had to use the hotel bathroom which is 45x45 cm and I couldn't change my clothes comfortably. - My bag was misplaced, and they gave me someone else's bag when I came to collect the luggage - And finally the security silently took my backpack from the breakfast table while I was at the coffee machine and I had to run around and worry that it was stolen. I complained to the hotel manager. She was polite and professional but insisted that they did everything right. So, I just wasted my time complaining. Yuck.

The positives, first - Every inch of the room was carefully considered and tastefully appointed by the designers. I appreciated the automated curtains as well as the lighting options. The bathroom was laid out well, despite being small. I really appreciated the double mirror on the sliding door to and from the bathroom as well as the big rain shower and water pressure. The location of the hotel is also ideal - pleasant and quiet in an upscale neighborhood, which is a nice respite from the busier central area. As for the negatives - I found the breakfast to be lacking. I would've appreciated a bit more selection as well some fried eggs in addition to the scrambled ones (or even eggs to order, given that there is a full kitchen). I would've also appreciated the possibility to eat breakfast outside, but was told that wasn't possible. The tv casting feature didn't work with YouTube at the moment because of some privacy or data concern, which was a big disappointment after initially seeing on the tv menu that we could cast programs from our phone. We also found the beds to be less comfortable than the generic, midrange hotel we stayed at the previous two nights in a small town. The television connection was a bit glitchy at times, as well, and the hairdryer attachment didn't fit the hairdryer in the room. All in all, despite the design elements, because of the beds and the breakfast, I'd probably try another hotel next time I'm in Amsterdam. I should add, to be fair, that the team was very friendly and professional.

Booked easily, but had to delay a few times due to lockdowns. Hotel were super responsive and accommodating in moving the booking ahead, for 2 years! The rooms are modern with great touches - like the control box to open/close blinds, set different light level settings and set air con. The location is brilliant for Vondelpark, but it's about a 20+ minute walk to get to the areas around the centre.

Very bad experience. A non existing room cleaning services. After insisting a lot, because the first day no cleaning was done , I receive the following message “ Our housekeeping department is very busy and are not able to fulfill all the cleaning requests immediately”. So , if someone is interesting in having room clean every day I recommend another hotel .
