About the only thing positive about this resort was the views of markermeer, it's infrastructure and affinity with children. If you want to stay here with friends be prepared to pay a €100 deposit(which isn't highlighted on the website by the way). If you want to order anything it has to be before 9 am the day before, otherwise it'll go to the next day, think of stuff like bread delivery, barbeque service and so on. Administration yelled at my friends for asking quite simple questions about our residences. The residences themselves are quite cleverly laid out, beds are seperable, rooms offer enough space for guests, and outside is quite calming at the riverside. The houses are well ventilated, but have little to no protection against pests, so prepare to get stung. If you want to visit markermeer and it's surrounding vistas, I would only really recommend this place for young families. Big groups of friends are not as comfortable here, especially since the available public transport is quite far away. Lastly I would like to note that this has been purely my experience for staying there 5 days.

The people from the resort charged us 100€ deposit p.p. because we were under 35 years old, this thing isn't specified on Airbnb and it was a problem. They didn't let us check in if we didn't pay the deposit. The place wasn’t clean, the bed sheets, carpet and chairs had stains,we didn't get at least one soap. We needed to rent the towels if we needed one(6,75€). After the 2 toilet papers that were used they told us that if we need more we should buy some. The receptionist was rude and the reception is not 24/7. They have a short program so if you need anything you are on your own. If you don't come with a car it's about one hour distance from Amsterdam (with two buses). The outside area with the table and chairs were not cleaned at all. The place is peaceful but we wouldn't come back. This resort is not worth it.

    1) Very far from the city centre. No shops or taxi stand near by. 2) unfriendly staff. Do not expect any kind of help from them. 3) NO SECURITY. We lost a lot of money while we were away from our room. Do not leave behind any valuables inside while you’re going out. You might not find it back. 4) Rooms are not cleaned regularly. Very poor house keeping. 5) Do not expect any kind of basic toiletry’s. You will surely be disappointed. Final say, it’s better to spend extra money on some good property, rather than staying here and ending up paying extra money for each and every thing.

Extremely high prices for very poor facilities. 4.5E to do a wash. No grocery shops nearby (you need to stock your fridge before you get there). You need to RENT the towels and the BEDSHEETS - seriously? for 300 euro per night, I would expect to have at least BEDDING/Sheets. Last but not least, there was construction happening all the time, in front of our room.

İnternet WiFi connection is NOT working at any of the houses, mobile phone signals are too much poor. I you want to live in a natural life without internet it is perfect place. if you need internet don't go to stay there.

We stayed here for three weeks and it was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a holiday resort. First of all: the house is filthy. They do not do any deep cleaning, causing everything in the kitchen (including everything in the cupboards) to be sticky and disgusting. There were parts of toys from previous guests left behind that weren’t picked up. The walls, ceilings and curtains are smeared with dead mosquitos and blood. Not to mention how dirty the fabric on the sofa and cushions were. The bedroom and bathrooms all stank because they haven’t been cleaned properly. In the three weeks we stayed they didn’t even come clean once. Second of all, we stayed there during the heatwave, but there’s no airconditioning or ventilator AND you can’t open any windows or doors because of the giant mosquito population. We tried opening the living room windows once for 10 minutes and immediately 10 mosquitoes flew inside. Same for the bedrooms. It was hell going though these warm days without any fresh air. Thirdly, the outside space is useless due to all the still water and, again and because of, all the mosquitoes. It was simply impossible to enjoy a nice meal or just sit outside during the day or evening without being eaten alive. Lastly, be prepared for the resort to be taken over by drunk and loud youngsters that rent out the houses next to you to party all weekend. In our case they started up the loud music at 9am on Saturdays where they were raving outside their patios. After calling the reception it took them 45 min to come around, which by then you’ve already gone bonkers after 45 min of techno music and a vibrating house. The only positive point were the friendly ladies at reception. But everything else was truly atrocious. Stay far away from this place.

It is located outside of the Amsterdam region. If you like a quiet peaceful environment it is best place for you having lot of parking places, area for cycling, and children play ground! It didn’t have any attached bathroom to the cottage, that we booked. For others who want to book it, keep it mind that the GVB day pass will not work for the connecting busses, i.e., 199 and 171, which connect EuroParcs from Amstelveen Stadhart tram (Tram no. 5) stop. And if you want to explore Amsterdam city, EuroParcs is not ideal place for you. There was no direct connection to city centre/dam square. It took approximately 1hr by 199 bus to Amstelveen Stadthart then by tram 5 to Station Zuid and finally by metro to Rokin station.

Disgusting. Sketchy stains on walls and ceiling, lots of dust and spider webs in the corners, dishes and silverware were disgusting and the rug in the living area was stained sticky and just gross. Even after indicating at the reception desk and after a second round of cleaning it was disgusting. Shame, since the location is lovely and the park itself looks very pretty...

Absolutely horrible. Worst vacation experience ever. There was no toilet paper or bath towels, and they don't even make the beds for you. There were parties playing loud music and yelling until the sun literally came up...and when I called the front desk to ask them to enforce quiet hours, no one answered. We couldn't sleep all night. Can't believe we paid so much money for this "resort."

EuroParcs Resort Port of Amsterdam is a holiday parc to have an okay-ish vacation. The main issue is that not all visitors adhere to the 'rules' to prevent loud noise/music. More important, it's not enforced by the parc staff either resulting restless nights! It's a huge minus to an otherwise beautiful designed, built and maintained parc. The homes are modern and spacious though not perfectly clean. The parc offers (electric-) bike rental as well as canoe, stand-up peddle, fat bikes and lots more. Visit the restaurant for a cosy evening dining with harbor view or go to the quick snack counter for a late evening bite. Friendly and helpful staff (yet, as described, not enforcing late night rest). Close to tourist attractions like former island Marken and Volendam. Amsterdam is only 30 minutes by car. Please like this review if found useful. Thank you.

Communication over AirBnB was not the best, the rooms were not completely clean, but not horribly so. The houses are very nice, and the downsides can be overlooked for the very affordable price. Bring cleaning supplies, there will be nothing in stock in the house, dishsoap, dishwasher cubes, etc. You can also buy supplies at dekamarkt close by.

This is a great place to sit and relax, or if you're looking to visit Amsterdam and are using public transport only, although it is quite a ways away - it's about 40 minutes from the city center via 2-3 buses, which isn't awful but definitely not closeby. The house itself had 3 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds (pushed together making a queen) which were soft. However, linens and towels are either BYO or to rent, as were towels. The house did not come with any hand soap, toilet paper (other than one roll) or basic amenities, which meant going to buy things. The store on site did not have soap either, which meant going to a supermarket was our option - which would be fine if we weren't relying on public transport. There are no fans or AC units in the houses, and during September there were quite a few mosquitos which meant in the heat either boiling or getting bitten as the windscreens on the first floor weren't adequate or not there at all (this makes sense as most of them openings are doors not windows). This made the first floor room rather uncomfortable and as a result, we booked a hotel for two nights in the city until the temperature cooled down, and then had to sleep wearing bugspray the nights we came back. Not ideal. Showers are nice and have decent pressure and temperature. Towels came stained but were quickly replaced free of charge by the resort. The store has basic amenities and a restaurant, but closed early (5pm if I recall). The pool was only open 2 of the 7 days we were there. All in all, not a bad place to stay, but probably for a different sort of vacation. :)

Nice cabin, No towels provided, no extra sheets or pillowcases, skimpy amount of toilet paper, cold in the winter, grocery store was not open when advertised,

There is no housekeeping, you have to clean the house yourself when you’re leaving otherwise deposit wouldn’t be given back to you. That also means you Are comming into house that was cleaned by previous guests of the house. In our case that ment hair and dirt in beds and on the floor. We stayed just before Christmas when it was freezing cold. They dont pre-heat the house for you (we came into i guess 15 C degrees room temperature) and the biggest problem was the heating - when you turn it on it heard only for 15-20 minutes than it automatically turns off and you have to manually turn it on again. That makes it Pretty much unpossible to heat up the house. PS: in the instructions we found that it is prohibited to tape the windows which we found funny until the first night when we literally felt wind from outside while lying in Bed - they don’t seal at all.

We did not receive all the bedding that came with our booking. When I gave front desk a call they indicated that it was not an emergency and that I can ring up front desk in the morning and then they will assist. Now I need to sleep on a mattress protector that smells like sour feet! Extremely unhappy about the service.

Very nice area!!!! Super family friendly houses were spacious and ad enough bathrooms for our trip personally. Only thing to be mindful of is the mosquitos!!! Especially if your house is near the water. If u wish to get breakfast (bread) , order the day before there's a website, otherwise you have to wait a little longer. There is a restaurant on the property and store. They have after hours check-in. A suggestion I would make is to also have a English prompt on the phone line as well, being that English is translated on the property. Kids can have a day of fun on this 1 property. They have Trampolines, indoor and outdoor park, indoor pool, put-put golf, fireplace, ponies, outdoor seating areas, bike rentals, towel rentals, etc. You can catch the bus and ride to the city from here as well. Overall we enjoyed the peaceful environment.

It was cold and stormy, but the village is pretty, the houses are clean and practical. Animals are welcomed. The position to visit Amsterdam is nice, but u will need a car.

We are currently staying at Europarcs, it is our second visit and our experience so far is not so good: - After hours checkin was chaotic as they failed to provide us with the locker code. It took us 1hr of expensive hotline phone calls to get in despite having discussed the late check in well in advance with the staff. - The houses are nice, but worn and need an upgrade. They are not very clean. - Ants. There are a lot of ants inside the houses, so you cant really keep any food. - Construction works noise woke us up at 9am. On our previous visit, both houses and service were in much better shape. Sadly, the restaurant is also permanently closed so there are no food / drinks on site.

It’s extremely horrible place! Don’t expect house have everything, no hair dryer, no kitchen cleaning supplies, toilet paper they only offer half roll, no towels you need to rent. When you open the window you will find many spiderweb and spiders , Wi-Fi it’s very poor if you are in the bedroom even no signal. If you looking for stay place here you don’t have to think about it!

It was a nice stay at Europarcs. very nice view and clean. There is a shallow beach for small children. it has several playgrounds and indoor swimming pool for children and a safe place for families. By 8 min driving you reach to island Markern, where there is Albert Heijn for shopping. the area is great for those, who likes to enjoy nature and nice views. and driving a little bit to visit nearby villages. But it is not comfortable for visiting Amsterdam. It is 30 min driving and you have to pay a lot for parking in Amsterdam.

The location and a very helpful and friendly staff. The only negative point is for rubbish bins. There is no selective sorting, nor the containers to do so.

Unique small village of vacation homes, beautiful situated, traditional 'Marken' like building style, near Amsterdam, but it's a beautiful location near the Ijsel-lake, in the middle of knowhere. Reception closes really early. Harbour has no power in winter. Snackbar is open, restaurant often closed. Very friendly employees.

Excellent location, personal super friendly, apartment clean with all what we need inside! Super close to Amsterdam center by bike, it makes a super ride until there with such beautiful views on the sea and nature around. The restaurant is also good.

We reserved and we’re told we could come to the house at 3pm, but then received notice that we could only go into the house at 6 instead, losing 3 hours with no compensation. Eventually we were allowed to come at 3, but we had to stand in a line for 45 minutes until we were finally helped. The houses weren’t cleaned upon arrival, so all of the other customers were also delayed and couldn’t go into the houses until 6pm. The house was filled with bugs upon arrival. Not clean at 15:00 and blamed it on corona, but it was due to short staffing When told we could go to the house finally, we still couldn’t enter and had to wait another half hour until the cleaning staff was out. The cleaning staff were clearly rushing trying to clean all the houses on time, overworked. As compensation for the hours lost, all we received was 15% off of one drink at the terrace for one person each. The cleaning staff needed to be asked to come back because the toilets weren’t clean. There was also no bedding when we finally were allowed in the house, so that had to be brought later. Overall, not a good experience with this park. Our group cannot recommend this park, and will not be returning.

Dirty, overcrowded with spiders and worn out. Be aware the wifi in the houses are useless. The wifi can not be used for anything. All the bedroom windows covered in spiderwebs, the kitchen equipment is worn out and the furniture is quite worn as well. Positive: Lot of space.

Workers are rude and look to take advantage of you asking for high deposits and trying to swindle money from you. The restaurant was horrible, poor service, once again being rude and serving us a pizza that was not what we ordered, or even on the menus. Disgraceful
