This has taken some time for me to write because I have never had such a horrible experience. Some months ago, my wife and I decided to try this hotel stay for a night ($1200/night), just for the uniqueness of the experience. Big mistake. The elevators are tiny so good luck with getting your belongings up (expect multiple trips or going separately). The owner offers you a $90 breakfast but he doesn't even give it to you (what a ripoff). He came to check up on us, and when seeing my wife, he started acting weird, very creepy. We both felt uncomfortable by his presence. The layout and figurines around this crane hotel give off a creepy vibe in general. I really don't know how to put it but everything about this place and the owner of it is just off-putting. We were expecting a nice, yet unique, experience, and instead we got a high dosage of creepy owner and nightmares. I wish we read the other reviews posted some months ago--they also experienced the owner being a huge creep and malicious. Apparently he even had occupants arrested without cause and thrown in prison before they were let out because the owner lied. AVOID! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Eww so tacky and gross. The windows are covered in bird droppings the rooms are styled like an American child bedroom and the price! Ooft you could go to somewhere REALLY nice with this kind of money.

Rip-off.... According to definition on Internet: "A fraud or swindle, especially something that is grossly overpriced." And this is exactly what this is. Seriously overpriced for what you get or don't get. The hotel is difficult to reach (approximatively 15 - 20 min from the center of Amsterdam). No service at all as the owners / personnel is not present and do arrange everything from remote when they have time to answer. Small anecdote... We received this stay as a wedding gift. Our friends did order a bottle of Champaign and breakfast in the room which we never received. No excuses neither. The level of humidity in our suite was enormous ( so high that even the bed was soggy) resulting in moisture in certain part of the room. Never again!!! Update 21/02/2023: The Champaign and breakfast was refunded by the hotel.

The bathroom was spotless and stocked with high-quality toiletries. One thing that really stood out to me was the attention to detail. The hotel had a keen eye for design, with stylish furnishings and tasteful decor throughout. The breakfast buffet was a delight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every palate. The hotel's location was also a major plus, as it was conveniently situated near popular attractions and had easy access to public transportation. The staff was always available to offer recommendations and assist with any queries I had. Overall, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Need to jump off a crane? This is the place. You can hear people scream doing it - and stay over night in the crane. Kind of expensive but there is a jacuzzi on top floor.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Amsterdam. It is an experience of imagination. Imagine yourself at that height with your partner, with a glass of cold champagne and seeing Amsterdam, the amstel river, and the ships from above. The service is excellent and the management are friendly. Highly recommend 👌

Faralda Crane is a unique boutique hotel that goes above and beyond in every way, from unique room design to close personal attention to your needs. We instantly felt at home. The amazing view, cool surroundings and just a pont away from city centre gave us easy access to everything we wanted to see in the city. This hotel made for a perfect anniversary getaway. Highly recommended!

There is unique place with nice view. You can rent a room inside, there are 3 luxury apartment with eclectic design, but the price is too high. It’s better to visit it in summer because there is no heating.

The hotel is not the problem, it’s the person who manages it, they ordered the arrest of a person without evidence, only because of his nationality or his background. To your bad luck Edwin, that person is a public figure. Reviewing previous comments, you already have a history of racism and discrimination, please don’t ignore the comments, do not stay there.

Stunning view. Kind and personal service. Although it's pricey, this is really something different and out of the ordinary. No other hotel in Amsterdam who can deliver that. Had a great stay, thanks a lot!!!

don't go to this place, your freedom is at risk, the owner after you pay to him a ridiculous amount of money, he accuses you of stealing with the police and you end up in prison, losing your entire itinerary and already scheduled flights, leaving aside how bad you have an emotional time, they don't even give you the breakfast they offer, non-professional people who are only interested in money and defaming the guests, ps: the object reported stolen was always on the property!
