I booked a reservation there because of the live jazz performance, the overall experience was good but it was not as great as expected. The table we had was relatively far away from the stage, so could not really enjoy the jazz performance and the 4 course menu we had was just okay, dessert was the best. People were really nice and welcoming.

3,7/5* when I entered it was great. Old gas station. we went on 01/11 on the top floor. Very bad service. The waiters were dressed casually and the main one did 55 minutes with half the restaurant empty. Of course there were 60 of us but they knew it. The waiters were collecting the plates one by one instead of putting them on a disc all together.Also some time they started kissing the girl and thw boy!!!!Unprofessional!!! thw food was good

The waiter added many extra items to our check, which we didn't order at all. Our original bill is around 40 euros, but he faked one and let us pay almost 70 euros. (He charged more for 1 steal water, 1 cappuccino, 1 mint tea, and a wine arrangement). When we found this ridiculous mistake, he was not willing to return our money. Worst bar on the earth.

It’s one of those places where it matters more how it looks than how it tastes. Big plates and small portions, but not big flavors. I was surprised that it is possible to have tasteless salmon and bland capers. Also margarita was bitter. Live music was really nice though! Ambience is good.

Would recommend! At arrival we got a warm welcome and we’re shown our table. After this it took almost 15 mins before we were handed a menu. Food itself was served quite quickly, some nice fresh bread on the house with olive oil followed by our starters: a carpaccio served with a thin crispy feuille de brick and salmon rouleaux. Both very tasty. As mains we chose the “cote de boeuf” for 2 which was beautifully cooked and came with two heated plates, a tasty sauce and gravy. All dishes could be accompanied with a very nice matching wine which I’d recommend. Both scroppino and chocolate dessert were very nice and sparkles were added for our special occasion. My partner specifically asked for a non-alcoholic beer but was served one with alcohol. The waitress reacted shocked and apologetic but unfortunately we still had to ask them to take this beer off the bill. The staff were all very kind, location was lovely and the food was delicious. Though there’s room for improvement I’d love to come again (when there’s a live music performance!)

On the East side of Amsterdam, this big building was once hosting the water tanks and now is a cozy place to enjoy dinner and live music. The menu is made of three type of options: meat, fish and vegetarian ones, and you can go for 3, 4 or 5 courses, selecting any combination possible. I went for a full fish menu, 2 starters, main, dessert, with on top some oysters to start with. Very well presented, we enjoyed our meal and the waiter super nice made our stay really enjoyable. Out of everything I tried I really really liked the scallops (absolutely delicious). The final price for menu and different wine bottles: approximately 90€ (we had a Suavignon, blanc, two Pecorino, a red wine and a last greek sweet wine with the dessert). Really nice dinner and night, next time we'll be here earlier to enjoy the music a little longer, since the jazz group stops playing around 09.30/10 and we booked our table at 9.

Pompstation offered a well plated menu unfortunately mired by... everything else. The food was hit-and-miss. My partner and I both purchased three course meals, their menu a matrix of rows by course and columns by protein (meat, fish, or vegetable). The meat dishes were the best of the bunch; the duck confit was particularly tasty. The seafood and vegetable dishes were quite bland. The fried cod plated with passion fruit really misfired. The cod itself was unpleasantly soggy and the passion fruit's sweetness overpowered the fish. Dessert felt like a bunch of leftover sugar items pressed into a cube - it was a confused combination. The service is where this location properly fell flat. My partner and I were in no rush, but a three course meal served over more than three hours is insane. It was quite clear the other guests present were irritated too. Perhaps they were short staffed that evening, but the waiters proceeded with a frustratingly leisurely pace while the summer sun fell and and the short sleeve guests shivered waiting for their meals. Had the service been prompt, the presence of lackluster dishes would've been perfectly excusable given a few strong suits. Unfortunately, I'm writing this review to caution guests about the remarkably slow service.

Friendly, open staff. Really nice terrace, off the beaten track, and not immediately noticable from the front (it's in the back), even though we live around the corner. Interior is really cool, food is fine.

Very cosy and beautiful space to enjoy a very good dinner with live music. The staff were super friendly and accommodating which also made it fun! You can easily spend a whole night there with friends. Looking forward to going again.

The seafood was good. 2 scallops as appetizer and the main course fish was small. Taste was very good. Ambience. Live music. Lively place.

I went with my colleagues and at the beginning it was nice, however the waiters were no service oriented, but as the night progressed , the waiters became more and more rude to us, to the point that they made fun of people, insult them, and be incredibly rude and unkind to us. I was shocked of the way that they treated their customers with no respect and 0% customer service. Definitely didn't enjoy it and very disappointing for a place like this.

The portions of the dishes are a bit small and a bit salty. It's too noisy in the restaurant. But the cocktails are delicious.

Amazing staff Amazing food. Came for drinks in the evening came back for the food the next day. Live singing was beautiful. Staff remembered all our drinks order and the best food we have had all weekend.

A different menu style, arranged over 3, 4 or 5 courses clearly labelling meat, fish and veggie options. Well explained and easy to navigate. Food was delicious, drinks kept flowing, reasonable non-alcoholic range beyond the usual soft drinks. Service was at a very relaxed pace which was nice till it got quite late. Staff were friendly and helpful. Venue is an interesting and beautiful building - great choice for our team dinner!

Great service and atmosphere. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. food was delicious. I really recommend it if you have a dinner celebration or special occasion.

We have had some good food here. The beef was very well prepared. But the service was really bad. Upon arrival nobody helpen us to the table. When we gotnour table nobody seemed to be interested in helping us. Even the getting the bill took long.

Live music, great food, amazing building, super friendly staff. Yes! I will come back.

Finally have been over to the Pompstation and loved it! The atmosphere, the staff and the food are all good. The service was not rushed and attentive. The dishes were gorgeous and tasty. Will definitely be back to try more dishes and experience one of the live music eves.

This one was recommended by a local, and it was absolutely amazing the food, service and ambiance, not in city center but worth the visit. They also have live music performance on selected days, u should book in advance

The vegetarian menu was terrible, unfortunately. The starter fried tempeh was disgusting. No vegan choices, all with cheese. They tried to be kind. Still felt uncomfortable with our group. Service could be better. 😕

I love this restaurant. People who work there are very friendly. My kids enjoy the food there and they can play up on the stage. The food options are limited but anything you choose would be great. Wide range of wine list.

This might be my favourite Bar ever! Great and beautiful interior design. Not too crowded with tables. A lot of space to sit at the bar. Amazing beer tasting! Great selection of craft beers and IPAs. Don't pass on the opportunity if you're in the area!

Miguel’s attention was excellent. We entered in because we were attracted by the jazz band that was playing, and we were lucky because a couple didn’t show up. Great food and excellent service in an amazing place. Repetiremos!!

One of the best restaurants in Amsterdam in my opinion. Great selection of ingredients, and being creative with them, but not too creative :) I can't wait to dine here again.

Because of the weather, it wasn't very busy. The staff were very helpful and had no hesitation to stay a bit longer for a chat. And the food was superb.

Amazing space to dine in, was told about this place by a friend and had to check it out. We arrived around 6pm, there were a few other people there, by 8pm the place was packed. We had a bottle of Primitivo to compliment the steak we had ordered which was recommended and it fitted with the steak perfectly. Wish we could be back soon, will have to schedule another trip to Amsterdam simply to come here again! Live music was fantastic as well, not too loud but the right level.
