Joined a gym for 1 month to try, paid in full for a month, then due to pregnancy had to stop sport. I had a call from the gym where I mentioned that I was not commig back ( noone told me a thing), few months later I left the country....then to my surprise I found out that they forgot to inform me that unless I give them a special notice my membership is not terminated they send my case to the court and fined me 890 euros...so here I am, havving a newborn and a bill. Worst experience of my life!

Incomplete equipment, tiny changerooms, lazy staff, practically no lessons. Avoid this gym. They also have the audacity to ask additional money on top of your subscription?!?!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My partner canceled their membership in July and they are still pulling money out of our account every month. IT IS DECEMBER! This is ridiculous...

If you're depressed and enjoy loneliness and dark workouts then this is your place to be. Showers are not individual and I'm not sure why they assume everyone is comfortable in communal showers which I find repulsive and uncomfortable. On the good note they have a nice yoga studio on the top level with nice views. Important to mention that this place is not handicap friendly.

Nice studio with sauna, unfortunately 1-2 small things were broken, but otherwise everyone was very friendly and there was great equipment. Day pass costs €20

After trying a number of other gyms in the city, very happy with Sports City. Not the biggest but everything you need is available. Certainly one of the friendliest.

I was searching for a gym membership for a week, because I was working in Amsterdam for a few days. After checking out a few, I’ve found this one. I met the store manager there and he was very friendly and helpful. The gym is quite small, but it’s very familiar and modern, so it’s not crowded. It’s quiet and you have private space. The saunas are great and everything is very clean. The membership for a week is totally legitimated and I recommend this small studio to everyone who’s staying for a short time in Amsterdam and searching for a good gym.

Cosy and small gym. Great atmosphere and great people. Staff is super friendly and always ready to help you. The in-house Spa is a nice treat after any workout.

Love it! From the sauna to the helpful staff! Every month you can can meet with one of the staff / personal trainers and they will do a body scan and make a whole new tailor made workout which you can follow via an app. Go once a month make a routine, go to the gym and don’t think just follow the routine and boom in shape haha! Good luck and totally recommend this place!

Nice easy-going gym. Small but a good mix of people (age/international/local/man/woman). However the man shower is always a bit dirty and not smelling pleasant. Also i saw a personal trainer once having his own prepped lunch while giving training next to the machines with a not-so pleasant smelling lunch box..🤷‍♂️

This place does not honor Sport City memberships from other locations. It costs more. They will let you in once but if you want to keep going you have to pay more. It’s fine. Small. I’d go to the location closer to the center instead.

The worst gym ever!!! Club is trying to earn extra money on foreigners who doesn’t speak Dutch. Because no one explains people how ( which way ) and when a subscription should be canceled. There is no possibility to cancel it through the App or web site. It’s not written clearly in web - site too. There is only one sentence about that in Terms and Conditions which are in Dutch and only as a PDF file. They automatically charged me even though I didn’t confirm I wanted to extend my subscription

Do something about the lockerrooms. Almost every day there are men performing lude activities.

Walking distance from museums. The gym is small but facilities are complete. Not so crowded as you need extra fee on top of your regular subscription to enter this gym

Predatory company just like Fit For Free before them. Impossible to cancel your subscription, all their phone numbers (if you find them) are incorrect and they don't answer your emails wanting to cancel. Same thing happened during Corona. They said they would refund an amount after they open gyms again and that NEVER HAPPENED.
