Went here for the second time hoping that it was better than my first. For 20 euros, an eggs Benedict should be delicious. The giant blob in the top of the photo is entirely hollandaise sauce. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen / attempted to eat. We also got a side of fries that were cold. If you're going for a drink, I'm sure this place is fine. Avoid the food at all costs.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The food was decent. I ordered the Arrabiata which was okay, but I had hoped that it would have been spicy. It just tasted like tomato sauce with pasta without any spices. The staff wasn’t attentive. It took quite a while to get their attention, both when we wanted to order and to get our bill.

What a lovely restaurant. Great waitresses. Food super special and tasty. Had the tartar and a steak, kale salad with yuzu dressing and onion soup. So tasty. And wonderful Malbec wine. What a lovely evening.

Very nice restaurant, in a very nice area. We were in the terrace, and tables are small for four people, but is ok. Very good food, everything we had was very good. The problem was the service, very polite and kind people, but we had to ask three or four times for things we had order, like s glass of beer or a glass of wine.

I have been to George W.P.A. a few times and always had a fantastic evening. One of their signature dishes is the steak tartare prepared at the table 😋 I really enjoyed the vitello tonnato and the whole globe artichoke too!! Highly recommended!!

It is an average place with average food. I think the portion of the courses are smaller than expected when you think about the prices. Cocktails are good. Just the meals didn't make us happy. Also the service was slow, bread which is a starter arrived at the end 😁 I want to try other Georges to compare it.

The food is super tasty, same goes for the cocktails. Overall it’s a very nice place. The staff is friendly and they are doing the best they can, but the service is way too slow. I understand the lack of staff in Amsterdam, but management needs to try and solve this with less tables

We recently visited George and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful suggestions and accommodating our dietary needs. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a great meal. The combination of delicious food and friendly staff make it a must-visit spot for any occasion 🥰

Great atmosphere, service and food. The french fries here are delicious, real french fries. The Salmon miso, the chocolate gateau dessert, the cocktails are all delicious. Only took pic of the salmon miso, but overall I really like this George.

Great ambiance, we really enjoyed having drinks here last spring. Didn’t get to try the food, but have to commend them for their awesome service :) I left both my iPhone and sun glasses too and got it back. Will definitely come back!

Really nice restaurant on the outskirts of the busy Amsterdam centre. Seems to be a popular place as busy for a Sunday night. Highly recommend the Pasta Arrabiata!

This is nice place in the terrace with the good weather in Amsterdam (which is rare). The service was good and fast, the food was good and tasty but on the expensive side compared to the portion size.

We had a nice little table outside and one of the best salads ever. Amazing seasoning. Main course was good, also.

Good service and friendly stuff . Food is nice but not wow. I personally had a hamburger which is was ok for price of 22 euro 😉. My friend had Tournedos and he liked it. The desert (Profiteroles) was delicious.

I liked the croque and also the terrace is heated and nice. Will go back for sure. Tip: skip the coffee - not good!

Thank goodness we found this restaurant!!! Food was amazing, very original, quality matches the prices...brioche with pouched eggs, salmon and hollandaise sauce was espectacular, also loved the tuna tartar! Only one thing - the wine by glass was too expensive. Staff was very kind and all with a smile, thank you!!!

Good food and nice location. I had the Italian coffee and croque madame, super tasty! We'll definitely come back again.

I didn’t eat here but had a bottle of rose and just sat and relaxed after a long day of walking around the city. The ambiance is really nice and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood. I will definitely come back and try the food here.

Very cute place. Close to our hotel so we came by foot. Waitresses were all very friendly. We liked the salmon and profiteroles, but found the lobster pasta a bit bland and French onion soup a little too salty.
