So I booked a car, paid (a fortune) for winter tires Then get told there may not be winter tires And they'll only know this when I come to pick up the car Ohyeah, if you want to cancel you pay a cancellation penalty! Computer says no! What a joke Update: in the end I called them again and spoke to the office of the actual franchise where I’d rent. They did get me a car with winter tires and said otherwise they’d have refunded. Weird their outsourced CS said something different still

Big scam ! I booked a car for 268euros and pay a deposit of 300. I bring the car back with no scratch and I only receive 245 euros back of my deposit. So the car costs me more than announced for no reason. The only explanation I get is that I cannot calculate and that it's totally normal. Poor customer service. Spent 4 times calling, to be called idiot, well the idiot will go spend her money at Hertz or Europcar.

Rented out a audi a5 that served a wedding car and it was flawless. New car, clean, good service and return.

the pick up was ok. however they said 10 days for the reimbursement of the deposit, this is obviously a lie. today is day 14 and no deposit received. all ok now.

I got an email on the morning of my pickup saying Sixt Netherlands does not accept Indian Drivers License - and this was AFTER making a fully-paid booking with my Indian credit card and local Indian address. This is ridiculous. We are tourists and have rented from the same company a few years ago here and there was no problem.

Lady at the desk is highly service oriented and tries to help each customer, even after closing times. Personel handling the car give good explanations about the return policy and car operation which is handy when you rent a bus for the first time. The location is very close to the highway which is a big pluspoint although is does require a 15min walk from the metrostation. Lastly, these cars are very very new. The mileage was only 12.000 km in my case.

The worst car rental experience. This company do not have internal communication system. They have outsourced break down service with local partners and they're not talking with each other. I have returned car which was provided by their local partner as there was a breakdown in original rented car. I didn't get the confirmation from sixt. Staff at schipol airport simply denied me to give me any acknowledgement while I returned a car as they were not finding car details in their system. I am getting emails from sixth to return the car which I have already returned. Their local partner was shouting on me as I returned a carto sixth at schipol airport .I gave sent several emails to sixth explaining everything but didn't get any reply yet. They're still holding my deposit and not closing my contract.
